Karissa is so blessed because she’s sweet, pleasant to listen to, always has a positive spin on everything and feels genuinely like a down to earth, relatable girl. What’s there not to love? I live vicariously through all of her journeys and videos. ♥️
Singaporean here. Been watching your shorts, really impressed by how open minded you are towards food from other countries. It’s amazing now to watch a full video to watch you coming to my country and enjoying food again 👍🏻
Fun Fact: The Michelin Guide was originally created by the Michelin Tire Company in 1900. It was started by the French tire company’s mascot, the Michelin Man, who would travel around and review the best places to eat. The goal was to encourage people to take more road trips, which would, in turn, wear out their tires faster-thereby increasing tire sales! :D
That lobby inside the Park Royal Collection was exquisite!!!! I'm so happy for your amazing trip and all the tasty bites in Singapore! Wishing you continued success sweet Karissa 🌟
With the work and hustle culture here? No thanks 😢 no Singaporean I know is happy and everyone just waits for their annual leaves so they can go somewhere else. Visit as a tourist but you don't wanna move here.
You probably don't want to work in a job in Singapore unless you are lucky to get a good boss, but living in Singapore is really good if you're retired and can afford a comfortable life. Many Singaporeans get completely burnt out very early in life, everyone is trying to retire as early as they possibly can, but it is really difficult to achieve if not planned properly from an early age, as most Singaporeans experience. Picture this, working 18 hours a day at least 5 days a week, many people burn out within a few years, i.e. mid to late twenties, depression, feeling like life is not worth it for the next 8 decades, dragging their feet to work everyday and depressed every night because they are counting down to needing to leave for work the next morning, which if you work 18 hours is only a couple of hours away. So if you come with all these in mind, it means that you have overcome these issues, and now likely to be happy in Singapore, congratulations! We welcome you to our foodie country and sea of cultures!
Thank you for your answers! I appreciate your view of living in Singapore! The work culture and also the costs of living seem to be a lot harsher compared to my home country. So this is a very interesting insight. I still think Singapore is a very rich culture and a beautiful place to be :)
The way you describe it all makes me want to pack my bags up and go over to singapore!! Your such an amazing food content creator and your so pretty and kind and are open to any culture and food even if you dont like it much. Love u so much x Keep up the vids ❤ Love from the UK

Watching your clip while putting my boring healthy breakfast into my mouth😂😂 your clip is like my MSG right now hahaha. Everything looks super fancy. I enjoyed every bit of this journey/adventure without skipping AGAIN!! THX my pretty lady. Love youuuuuuu❤❤❤❤
I knew you had some type of vocal training!! One of the things that grabbed me about your channel is your speech pattern ,vocal inflections, and tone. Sounds weird but I’m a music person lol I’ve always wanted to ask you if you do voice acting or singing because it always seemed very intentional how you speak and you clearly have a lot of control over your voice.
I can’t even imagine beans for breakfast, but then my job introduced me to ham, cream cheese, and green onion rolls… They are incredible and I can’t stop eating them😂 😂😂
Karissa, I gave you one time a bit of a criticism but please don’t take it wrongly. You are an amazing singer, performer and an amazing foodie cool gal, may I say 😉. God bless! Happy Holidays from Beverly Hills, CA. I am half Russian and half Italian-maybe try one time Russian food-it’s healthy and delicious and a Napoleon cake is to die for! Hugs and kisses! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
Actually many Singaporeans do, just not many Michelin star restaurants in such a short period of time, they are usually spread out, for most anyway. There are quite a lot of Singaporeans who patronise good restaurants frequently and many Singaporeans who can afford to dine at Michelin star restaurants whenever they want to. Some Michelin star restaurants are not terribly expensive as well, though many are. Actually the Singaporeans who do not go are mostly not really foodies or just don't fancy that kind of food enough to pay for it, not that they are unable to afford going to such restaurants. Just that the average Singaporean can't go to these restaurants every single day, perhaps more of once in awhile, or as and when, depending on their financial priorities. Many Singaporeans have multiple sources of income, so it is not surprising.
16:39 She's giving a beautiful description of the fiod, while someone in tge background proceeds to cough, hack and wheeze like they're dying from too much spice!
