Karissa, love you but that’s a Swedish flag
So sorry! That was not intentional at all! 🙏🏻🇩🇰🇩🇰
@@KarissaEats 😂 lol your littarly my favorite person ever
Wait which part of the video is this referencing 😭 I think I missed it
@@calendulate 4:32
Was just about to write the same 😂 Was a bit confused because I am Danish and pretty sure last I checked this was our flag 🇩🇰😂😂😂
I absolutely LOVE how you put subtitles on the whole entire video, not to mention you edit it all by yourself! plus your relationship with food while trying to stay as healthy as possible is really inspiring, especially to kids of this generation. you have so much dedication and just the right amount of spirit. AND as if that wasn't enough, you're also insanely pretty and smart! from one queen to another, i love you ✨😍
All her videos she eats large quantities of junk food. There's nothing wrong with eating that but literally that's all she shows so I don't see how this presents as healthy and inspiring. Especially when you add the she's pretty part which she is but if she was unattractive and overweight I wonder would many people still consider her content inspiring?
Frysauce (or frietsaus in dutch 😉) is actually not the same as mayonnaise. To be legally allowed to call your sauce mayonnaise in the Netherlands it must contain a certain percentage of fat and egg. Frietsaus simply doesn’t meet those requirements so they had to market it under a different name. I personally prefer mayonnaise over frietsaus, but frietsaus is the slightly healthier option.
It might be somewhat lower in fat but that alone doesn't equal healthier. The fry sauces I've seen in Belgium all had a crapton of additives and allergens that mayo doesn't.
Went looking for this comment, mayonnaise tastes sooo different haha
*slightly less unhealthy :D
Frietsaus = miracle whip in the US. Only reason I know is cause I went to a gas station in michigan, bought a sandwich and got some 'miracle whip' with it cause who tf knows wth that is (cept 'mericans ofc) and it tastes the exact same.
I love that you included all of these sweet little facts about the city’s but still had the food in focus. Perfect balance and so comforting to watch!
Absolutely love the longer format and I was super impressed by the Danish 7/11 refrigerated section looking like Whole Foods! Your nails are super adorable too! Never ever disappointed that I watched a KarissaEats vid 🤗
Danish 7-Elevens are awesome. Their chicken yakitori and taquitos are legendary.
So I immediately scrolled through to Germany, because I thought to myself "where are you gonna find a 7/11 in Germany?!".
The Späti kiosks are a really uniquely Berlin thing.
Because of the German labour laws and state differing hours-of-service laws there aren't really that many of these types of stores in Germany.
Some of the bigger Rewe supermarkets can stay open until midnight in some states that allow supermarkets opening hours past 10pm, but they're mostly in the bigger cities.
But if you're anywhere in the region that has tegut supermarkets, they have an offshoot called teo, which are unmanned shops you can only enter with their app or a debit card.
Because they are unmanned they're allowed to be open 24/7.
There's one at Mannheim main train station for example, but they also have some in more remote small towns!
Späties gibts auch in Hamburg
Gibt's auch in Frankfurt
I am not reading that article thingy
Spätis/Kioske/Büdchen sind doch nicht einzigartig in Berlin😅
Hannover has a very high/the highest density of Kiosks in Germany 😅
If you go back to the Netherlands, try somewhere like Albert Hijn or Jumbo, I think they are a bit more like a convenience store than the snack bar you went to. Albert Hijn has a bunch of ready-to-eat foods and pastries that are so good. That’s where I always went when I was on the go for snacks and lunch. 😊
For sure, I‘m german (from cologne so pretty close to the dutch border) und we all love Albert Hijn! Everytime we go we need to bring stuff for our Friends, too😂
@@pennylane8936 Haha I love that! I would do the same
I personally think that she should visit a Spar or a AH to go.

My gosh is video is so good! The way you have presented these different countries and their foods is so quirky and fun. Amazing work!! Would love to watch more like this.
'Good drunk food' is the biggest backhanded compliment 😂
💜💜💜👍🏽 Loved the mini tours at each stop. Definitely some of the best corner store food I’ve ever seen. 😋 These vlogs are just pure positive vibes, good juju, and yummy food. Couldn’t ask for anything more to end the day. You’re amazing fam. 🫶🏽💜💜💜💜
Thank you for including Denmark, but the flag you used was actually the Swedish flag. No hate, just wanted you to know❤️❤️
So sorry!! I totally should have caught that and it was not intentional 😅🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰❤
Not forgiven 😂 jk
Thank you Sandi!!
Sure....😏 @@KarissaEats

Karissa, thank you so much for this beautiful video, I also loved the little informations about every country/city you have been, you're such a lovely, sympatical person and this video lights up my day! Greetings an love from munich!❤🇩🇪
I am SO happy I came across your channel ❤. I never get to take a vacation or anything close to it, but I feel like I do when I watch your videos. Great job and thank you!! ❤
Sooo cool that you visited Tallinn!!! Hope you liked it here!☺️Also (If you plan to visit Estonia again), you should try our famous snacks: biscuits called "präänikud" and curd covered with chocolate, in Estonian it's called "kohuke". 🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪🇪
Great to see, you found your way to visit Estonia.
A lot of things to explore. Food wise, culture and other things.
Estonian chocolate is over the top. A lot of variations and great quality.
As far as savoury food goes, one very popular thing is bloodsausage. And in order to take it steps farther, bloodbatties (“verikäkk”) is thing that is worth to try. Don’t know if you did try some bloody (literally) cuisine, but for everyone who manages to visit Estonia, it’s worth trying.
As a Estonian myself, I tend sometimes to take things here in granted. But more and more I realise how much Estonia deserves to be prised.
Keep on going trying different cuisine and meeting other cultures.
And welcome to Estonia, whenever you find your way back here!

Really good video! You show a lot of the cities and ofcourse the food, greaaat editing 👌🏼😊
You are my absolute FAV food blogger! I love watching you eat! You love food the way I do! I love how excited you get! Im the same! Thanks for sharing your adventures!❤🎉
The cheese puff pastry is actually called a kaassoufflé! It’s a Dutch snack of melted cheese inside a thin dough-based wrap which has been breaded and then deep-fried! 😊
Can someone just get me a cheese truffle-
Your videos are so entertaining and I'm learning!! We love to see it
It' so nice to see you Karissa :) Love your videos :)

This was such a fun video!! Thanks for taking us along for the adventures!! 💚🧡💙
Karissa seems like such a fun, happy, and kind soul to be around! :D❤
I love this!
Whenever you go back to Norway try the brown cheese. I got some from the convenience store in Olden, also I believe the salty Liquorice is an acquired taste. Was in Stavanger in May and visited the wooden white houses. Love you videos 😊
she tried it on tiktok :D
We went into the 7eleven in stavanger to last august on our cruise. Cost me a fortune 😂. Also, ive literally watched your shorts and been subscribed forever but today was the first time a full video has come up recommended for me. Until today ive just watched shorts and never even thought to click videos. Now ive got loads of videos to binge watch ❤
As a swede and happy subscriber, so nice to see you enjoy our food n snacks😍
I love your videos!
Love that you post here for those of us who don't like short form content!
She sounds like a teacher or news person. I love her voice
Just remembered she is a singer lmao
Have been watching your shorts videos for a long while now and finally subscribing love you videos watching from 🇯🇲❤❤
Pico balla only three points breaks my heart as a long time lover!!
I used to live in Holland and the "patat met" was chips in a lovely creamy mayo type sauce that you ate. Still remember it fondly! Also the pindasauce is insane!
The quality of the candy "Bilar" all depends on the bag honestly. I love them but sometimes they can be really solid, the best ones are really soft and easy to chew. I think you'd like em much better if you didn't get stale ones. But im so happy to see you visiting my country, yay! You're my favorite foodblogger. Hope you had a great time!
Fab fab video thank you!! ❤❤ love from England xx
Love your positivity!
That food looks so good😊
I feel like ASMR only works for some and am so greatful Karissa focuses mainly on narration/critiques. Loving this long-form food tour style!💜
Same. I have Misophonia and whispering is a trigger for me so I have to avoid anything ASMR
Love Karissa so delightful and on point..
Thanks for giving me a nice smile watching your great content.
the brother mhmmm had me rolling BABHABHABAHAAHHAHA
Ty Ty Ty Ty Ty for giving Norway a high score it means a lot!!
Wow great video Karissa!
24sec?!?
You're the best foodie on YT! 👍
I'm surprised but not disappointed that you went to Visby instead of Stockholm, Gothemburg or Malmö. I went there a couple of times back in 2021. It's so beautiful and such a unique part of Sweden.
yes those smash chocolates are my favourite!! come to Finland some day!🥰 you need to get some fazer chocolate, salmiakki and ofc karjalanpiirakka❤
Yippee only three minutes! Love you Klarissa!! (Sorry if I spelled it wrong)
In norway you can get a snack called Troika and its like a thin chocolate bar with jam/jelly in the middle
I love watching your videos
Love ur videos ❤❤❤
Too great! I lived in Sweden for a year when I was 16 to 17 yo. NEVER SAW any of these great candies! One fyi, Sweden, Norway and Denmark and Germany and Swiss, like that licorice that is anise flavored, but salty! Not a good flavor unless you grew up eating them as a kid! Also, always be careful eating too much black licorice, because true black licorice can cause you to have heart symptoms. But the knock off candies in Norway looked extra crispy and sounded extra crispy. Also, thank goodness, their chocolate is of much better quality over in Europe and nowhere like the cheap American version of chocolates! ThNk you for a tour of candies from Scandinavia and Germany! Keep up the fun, interesting and excellent videos!❤🎉😊
Glad you liked the Norwegians foods, snacks and candies! Please do come back again sometime 🫶🏻
hello love your reviews love from paris
Over the past couple years weve had that cocomel chocolate milk appear in more stores in the UK and I love it, and I always get Gifflar when i go to ikea 😂 those strawberry haribos are my favourite too I always get like three packets when I go to mainland Europe
I lived in Malmo Sweden for three months. I flew into Copenhagen, Denmark, and took the train to Malmo.
another amazing video 💥
Gurl, you are living your life!
Happy 3M!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
“like if you’ve always wanted to chew on foam insulation, you’ve got to try these” 😭😭 love you karissa
I really like this kind of video editing and presentation, it's like going on a journey and learning new things ...
You can sometimes get a version of those German peanut puffs at Aldi here in the US.
Karissa, I live vicariously through you!😂 I can't travel due to some chronic illnesses and lack of funds. So, I get to see the world through your eyes. Thank you.
You need to visit a Belgian frituur, definitelyyy. All the fried snacks and sauces you could imagine!
Glad I did. I went to Fritland in Brussels last year. The fries were exceptional, my favorite sauce was the samurai sauce. The burger was served on a baguette that's far better quality than any bread where I live. Can't wait to go back and see more of the country.
Hemmakväll and Kandyz has the best variety of pick 'n' mix in sweden. And i wish you would have tried Gårdschips Parmesan 🤤
KARISSA YOUR EYEBROWS ARE SUPER NATURALLY STUNNING!!!
We dip the swirls in the chocolate milk 🥛
Omg they have automats! The states had those back in the 50s so cool!
This one was really good to watch.
Like the ending with the puppy sleeping❤
Here in Iowa, Casey's rules the convenience stores.
My first time in Netherlands last year, the best thing I got at Febo was their chicken wings. They're not the bite size like in the US, I got full-size leg quarters and they were crispy and well seasoned.
Was about to mention the flag mishap too ;) velkommen til Norge Karissa ;)
In germany give more many sweats and crunchy Snacks. Knoppers. Bounty milky way twix . Milka Chips and others and i l i ke mon cherie in the Winter time.
i'm happy you love our chocolate!! we really do have amazing chocolate here in norway
swedens flag is on the denmark secson
Sorry about that!! It was not intentional 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰❤️❤️❤️
@@KarissaEats Omg I love ur channel sm
@@KarissaEats You had one job 🤦♂😂
Hi netherlands here i saw you eat the 'meatstick' in the Netherlands its called frikandel its one of my favorite dinner snacks
I love hanuta❤
The top chip flavor in Germany is actually paprika
The food in automats forever ago were actually cooked in the back and placed in each window. It may still be the same process. There is an automat documentary that is REALLY interesting
Karissa I really love you and your videos 🇳🇬🇳🇬
Yum!!!!
they cheesy thing in Amsterdam is a Taco Bell's Cheezit Tostada's twin! Trader Joe's Bamba are virtually the same as those German peanut snacks.
The candy bins bring back memories! My Grandpa used to stick handfuls of bin candy in his pockets and walk outta the store! Bad Grandpa! ❤😂❤😂 He was the best.❤❤❤❤
Um, the store owner he was stealing from might have felt differently.
Yay queen❤❤❤
Estonian here. Circle K and R-kiosk are the most popular convenience stores here, but only the first one is open 24/7. You won't find any authentic Estonian food from our convenient stores. Almost everything they offer are international dishes like hot dogs, fries, burgers, burritos, pelmeni, chicken nuggets, kebab etc. Maybe, just maybe some sandwiches and pies/pastries might be Estonian.
Lion candy looks like a kit kat candy or twix candy. Love all your eats
