It's my theory/head canon that the Celestials/Ones had something to do with the Tho-Yor that brought Force sensitives to Tython, to form the Je'daii Order. Possibly as a replacement for themselves or some other, unknown reason. They either directly created and sent them out, or had the Kwa do so, as the Kwa were known to be one of their servant races that possessed at least some of their technology, as seen with the Infinity gates
Much deeper story than I ever thought. It's great, learning more about the Star Wars universe from you and Eck. I had a comical idea. Draw up a short "Far Side" type of comic where the Dalek meet the Killik. "Exterminate!" and the Killik just giving them a puzzled look. lol😁
You are right. In the fate of the jedi. They say that she was human before. She became a servant for the ONE but in the end she resent them for they immortality. She chooae to drank feom the fontain of power, and she become the monster Abelot
Maybe before you do the Tapcaf Transmission on the Dark Nest book(s), have a video giving other details we'll need to know (such as the war you said would be good for another video)
If we keep doing books in chronological order Dark Nest would be like two years away, so I'm sure I'll cover plenty of stuff in videos between now and then.
Very informative. I would like to know more about how the Kuat Drive Yards came to be please. KDY has been a major factor in shaping the known galaxy also.
The Celestials are one of the coolest untold stories in Star Wars. Yet another cool idea that will never get expanded on thanks to the so-called "new canon". Thanks to you and Eck for keeping the Expanded Universe alive in 2019! Any chance you could do a video about the formation of the Republic sometime? And the Unification wars?
Have you checked out the unpublished novella called Star Wars Supernatural Encounters ? That shit was so sick to read ! It's a heavy read but Lord knows the payoff was worth it. It reveals so much about the galaxy that we'd have never known through conventional storytelling and pieces here and there. I loved it so much 😂😂😂
How dose a non-killiks become joiners? Unless the Jedi who joined was a killiks, which is highly unlikely cause they’re a hive mind which means they’re very unlikely to join other factions besides themselves
The Jedi who crashed in or spent time with the nests all did to some extent, and none of them were Killiks. It's a mix of pheremones and some aura stuff so obviously doesn't make scientific sense, but Star Wars is fantasy.
Short and simple is, the Killiks have physical and mental powers that can 'invade' and capture a non-Killik's mind using proximity and time, and render them a part of the hive. How EXACTLY this happens is irrelevant because any in-universe fluff is sufficient to justify it's existence, regardless of how reasonable it sounds :P
@@signedzulu7637 In theory, yeah. They just need to detain people so they can't leave, and keep them close enough for this to work and then get to it, slowly absorbing them into their hive. It's pretty much the one biggest reason the Killiks are so dangerous, they don't need to convince you to join them, they just assimilate you, for lack of a better term.
Terenin that brings up a interesting discussion though. I’m going to guess a non killik that’s part of the hive mind can’t absorb other beings outside the hive mind but will certainly try to capture it. Also when the killiks absorbed the Jedi would all killik inside that certain hive mind become force users? They were able to do it with those force imbued beings that ruled them or would they just know how to completely counter Jedi?
love to see a video about the Chiss vs Killiks

I thought Abeloth was a non celestial who “drank from the fountain of knowledge” if you will and was corrupted
She's been around way before she discovered The Ones...
well that would make her into a celestial like abomination, abeloth is clearly no longer mortal
She certainly not mortal. I just have thought of her more like Medusa, but way more powerful.

Best sw lore channel. Imo better than eck but i love him too lol
Hey Corey, could you do a video on the Ssi-ruuvi and there entechment treatment towards other beings
underrated channel

The Killiks are a fascinating species to deal with.
I love the detail and learning about these topics that aren’t discussed often but are still awesome. Hope you keep up the awesome videos
I always liked reading about kililks so this a treat for me
Really love the channel and dives into the lore! Keep up the good work 🙂

I always took it as the Celestials made Centerpoint and the Maw and used Killiks for labor, and the Killik view of history and fiction had warped.
Interesting to go this far back in the timeline.
The aura is fierce. Sparks burn
"what"
keep it up Corey!
So how does one "join" a killik hive mind exactly?

Terenin so they could in theory absorb entire planets given enough time? That’s kind of scary

Are you going to a video on Abeloth?
Probably after I've had a chance to re-read Fate of the Jedi
@@CoreysDatapad can't wait, love your videos
"Kiliks and Celestials: How Troy Denning Added the F-bomb to Star Wars" would be an even better title.
So could the two navigators on the Supremacy be Killiks?
Rey woulda passed out from seeing a bug that big and Kylo woulda pissed himself when it starts talking...
Abeloth wasn't the Celestial.
Killiks were made canon
