Saw him live at red rock in Denver during a lightning storm, it was by far the best concert I have ever seen. Lighting was exploding behind the stage and seemed to sync up with Jack jamming on the guitar, it was unbelievable!

For those of you that didn't know, Jack uses both of these bands on tour and on the album.
The all girl band in blue are the Peacocks, the all guy band in black are the Buzzards. Sometimes he uses only one, sometimes he'll swap them halfway. But they both have different ways of playing the same songs.

He's a pretty special specimen of a human being alright....20 years ago myself and about 20 other people had our minds blown/lives changed when we took a punt on a whole nz$10 cover charge in a tiny bar in a tiny city in New Zealand to have a drink and check out a band we'd never heard of, that were passing through. Someone said it was some guy and his sister playing some heavy blues. After the show Jack stuck around talking with people (strangers to him) all night and was str8 as an arrow nursing the one drink all night. I think a lot of the folk there that night would've been with whichever team it took to spend some more time with a truly genuinely charming 'gentleman', perfectly modest and disarmingly confident. The kind of person who would hold a door open for a woman or a man. I'm a lucky soul to have had that chance to see them in those circumstances. Excuse me indulging myself with that story. I don't tell people it irl as it can come across as seeming boastful or dishonest.
