Bruh you should have label. Make more original songs like this and you'll be famous in no time
agreed^
Colorphel I AGREE OMG
Do you think you could do a tutorial on making that nice atmosphere at the beginning? I've found it's hard to lead into that big epic drop. A tutorial on a build up would be quite nice too ^w^ Thanks for the awesome vids
Wayan Ayama please alex
sure
you´re the best thanks dude.
I think that you should give your first instrument or intro lead some airy reverb, then open up the es2 and use some noise and just play with that.
Wayan Ayama OH! And add some pads, cuz uhh.... they sound cool.
I was watching you since 600 subs and you really improved since then, like music, tutorials everything bro... This is the kind of drop I'd hear on trap nation good job
i appreciate you bro!!
Quick tip I have, if you put a high pass filter on white noise, it gets like a brighter sound... idk i think it sounds better then just normal white noise
I found your channel a month or so ago. I produced Dubstep yearsssss ago and lost all motivation until I came across your videos. Your videos made me want to pick things up again and experiment with different genres. Thank you man, keep up the good work.
One thing I found that helps my RMS is controlling the low end on the master with a multiband after the compressor. I turn off all the bands accept the lows and clamp em down a bit before it hits the limiter. Nice track, sounds sick
this shit so lit bro
thanks bro
Freaking sick! I always get so much inspiration from your videos!
ワタシハフューチャーベイスガダイスキ
Epic Alex! Loving your vibe dude. Hit me up if you're ever in Seattle, would love to buy you a beer for all the stuff you've taught me!!
I just love watching you evolve as a producer
thanks so much bud
this deserves more plays
I've been so hyped waiting for your vids. Haha. Great content btw
needs to be on trap nation
i agree
@Charlie, this is trap wtf lol
@@kogi216 no its future bass, future bass just tends to use trap drums
Love your creative sound work and happy you're sharing new tutorials especially about *Future Bass* :) !
Hey Alex, another really enjoyable video. I'm really starting to enjoy and get to know future bass. Thanks for the heads up on Splice too. Re getting the lead to 'push' - I'm not sure if you wanted it to come forward more - I'm thinking you could try loading x2 compressors in sequence. i.e. compress a compressed signal.
Omg, I just hate how good you are bro👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾keep it up!!! Your tutorials really help
You are seriously what I aspire to be man, keep up this great work!!
Would love to see a more detailed video on RMS and how you go about mixing and mastering! (from start to finish would be great.)
You should start Making Remixes
bro wtf are you doing!!!! this is good and clearly you have splice so help me understand why this is not famous.
Very less channels have such a good like to dislike ratios. And yours one of them. Really great content my bro.
God damn dude, you've improved so much over the last six months or so. That song is sick!
thanks alot!
Brilliant video alex, you got a lot of talent mate! Keep up the top work.
Hey! U should make a separate tutorial on how to layer leads in the right way cuz it's really difficult choosing the right sounds.
"Practice song". Pft, this is seriously the best thing i've ever heard you create. Holy shit. I think I need to start learning mixing and mastering a lot more, along with proper layering. I'm getting better with the layers, some sounds just don't shine like they should when I'm producing. You better release this track soon, because it's forever stuck in my head.
lol ok will do bro!!
Alex Rome Yo Alex I just came back to this video because it was a great refresh of knowledge. You ever release it as a track? :D
Love this dude! Future bass is beautiful!
All the extra info was very appreciated
PLEASEEE more about anthing RMS related! This is highly interesting to me!
bruh. a high rms paired with a song that sounds actually good = ur getting signed by a label tomorrow...
it might not that easy but still
This was a really solid tutorial, although I feel like a lot of depth was lost in your discussion of RMS values. From what I've read mostly, is that the majority of radio songs are pushing their RMS values higher and higher, to push for listener attention - not for the quality of the sound as such. What I'm saying here, is that as much as 8-6 may be the current standard for RMS for radio friendly songs, boosting your RMS will typically damage your dynamic range, leaving you with a flatter and overly compressed mix often. Perhaps a full tutorial on RMS values would be a good idea, just so we can all get a better understanding of it?
Aside from that however, really good tutorial. I'd be interested to see you doing full tutorials on how to make various leads etc, such as those in here - from scratch, ideally. Also that song is really awesome, will you be releasing it?
I love your tutorials
Wow dude, I'm sure you don't need hear it from me but you're pretty talented.
actually super helpful to learn about this RMS stuff, thanks!
I love your tutorials. They have helped me a lot. I have been feeling a bit stuck lately; been spending many hours writing but not having a finished product. How many songs do you produce a week? What kind of hours do you put in? Can you tell me a little more about your time management? Thanks!!
balladbaby I'm no Alex Rome, but I spend as little time possible creating my songs. I know it's not efficient, but I'm lazy. I recommend you take your time to get the product you were trying to get. Experiment with random synths. Use automations. Have fun
Your videos are so helpful! Keep up the great work! Nice song btw!!!
My problem is I struggle when it comes to making a full song from a drop beat. It would be great to see a video on that.
maybe a little variation on the drop melo , but yet it was pure fire
great job
Hey Alex, you did a great job with this. But can you talk more about the intro please? For me personally it´s very hard to make a melodic intro rise build like this. It would be a great help. peace
This video is awesome! Keep up the good work it's extremely helpful
Hey man, I stumbled across your videos about three weeks ago and I haven't stopped watching them since, even if I didn't know much about this sort of music production. I've played the guitar and piano since I was 8, but recently I've really been interested in producing the sort of music that you make. Do you have any videos for beginners or can you suggest somewhere where I can learn the basics? thanks.
Please release this song!
Love your channel, dude. So motivating and inspiring.Unfortunately,I am so bad at making such kind of music and actually it so hard to make it sound huge even wnhem you tri to do so.Nevertheless, with your videos i become better. Thanks a lot))
Hi! Sorry if this asking for too much, but would it be possible to maybe run over how you made this song, and some intrument creation tutorials as well, like for example the little glassy lead at 1:12? Thank you!
this is great man :) thank you for the video!
that son was actually lit
Hi alex! Great work man! Is it possible if u could share the project? And if not this how about sharing some other projects?
Amazing work bro!!
I'm way more interested in how you can get a higher RMS level, can you do a video about that, Ive been struggling to achieve higher RMS without clipping or loosing the power from the track.
Damn im in love with the intro
bro you need publish this on your soundcloud! I wanna bump this!
great
will you come back to this and look at some of the sound design? how did you make that "air lead" for example?
also would you ever consider streaming your production?
I have considered it plenty of times. im just a bit lazy with it lol. Also, that air lead is quite simple. I will go through it in depth eventually.
Nice tutorial! You earned another sub
Very useful bro. Thanks 😊
Amazing dude like all time ...
gives me MYRNE vibes amazing!
LOOOOOL!!! I Fucking love this I LOVE IT. believe it or not. I will continue watching your videos later!! i have to do homework noow!! xD
sounds sick!!
Love it!! Did you create that Lead or is it from Splice?? Keep you the great work!
The chords for the Lead that is.
Created it
How did you make that sweeping high pitched ring in the intro? Really cool stuff
Hey man, nice tutorial! I'm struggling on how to make the chords sound and the bassline, any possibility you could tell me how to make it please? ;P
hey alex nice tune man! you always surprise me.
i have a question, how do you make the vinyl stop fX at 1:26?
thanks man
U need to produce songs for pop artists u wud get such recognition!!
LOVE THE CONTENT MAN. Also u had me dying when u almost said "Autistic" at 6:10 😂😂

you should release that song
i see that you are not super active on social media. been trying to connect to see how you automated that tape-stop effect at the end of the melody of the first half of the drop?
How come your not on stage with top DJ's and producers? hah your good man keep it up
Is there anyway I can obtain the MP3 or WAV file. This is lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks bro. not yet but when i finish it, sure.
I'm legit hyped
Alex Rome have you released this yet?? I’m not able to find it. Please let me know because this track is amazing! 😃 btw thank you for making these videos. As a beginner in music production, they help so much!
Jai Narula x2
The song is awsame, realy realy dope
Amazing!!!
Are you in the music industry for your job?
Honestly this youtube channel and the business behind it has been my main source of income which is all thanks to you guys who watch my videos.
so sickkkk !
I love this
dope af
where can i download the beginning song? so freaking nice!!
Man, this is some Monstercat material, go get your songs promoted!!!
Shit dude.. this is a sick track.
What plugin did you use to make your chords and the bass? And how did you did it?
Nicky Romero kickstarter Plugin?
fuck, this shit is so good
i love you man😮
Wow nice one. But measuring rms with pro-L. That's not how it's done XD. And your OTT parameters are wrong if you want more power. You need to turn these knows for highs and mids to the right and reduce the depth to 10-25%
some guys i have talked to insist I use pro L to measure rms and there is no real reason it should be wrong. However, I want to know more about what you know, could you email me?
Hey I might have been a little hard on the "that's not how it's done". I mean that you have preferably many tools that will do the job. The default one in Logic is often 1-2dB above the real RMS. The tools I most preferably use to measure loudness are WMS Plus by waves and Span by Voxengo (second one is free).
Do one on Tarro!
Can you remake r3hab cherry blossom, belle or any r3hab future bass track
what do you do for a living?
UUUU FUCKING KIIIIING! What a drop! :D
Are you guys going to be giving away the Cymatics POPS vocal pack?
Im not associated with cymatics in any way
haha I know. I just now realized that i was commenting on the advertisement that came up before your video lol I was a little....out of my mind a bit haha
Dope!!!
Hey how do you configure splice sounds app to open like a little window in the menu bar? I can only have it like a normal window...
Let's go montercat
how did you sidechain the chords to the "ghostly" track? i can get my chords to sound like that, but getting them to sidechain like that is something idk how to do
did you high pass filter your white noise?
How to make that dope sound at 10:33?
hey Alex, how'd you do that vinal stop in the middle fill of the drop?
