Nintendo Switch Lite USB C Port Replacement- Detailed Tutorial

In this video I will demonstrate how to replace the USB-C port on a Nintendo Switch Lite. This repair is not recommended for people without soldering experience. Even if you have done micro USB ports, this will be more difficult for most technicians. Practicing on a "dead" board first is a good idea. Otherwise, consider hiring a professional.

It’s the first time I seen someone do the pins before the anchors

I'd recommend whichever way works best for you. When doing the anchors first, there has been a couple times that I had to go back and reposition. Doing the pins first, at least in my experience, assures that everything gets lined up the from the start.

at 8:18 when you test for continuity are you touching the charge port to the multimeter. Im new to using it and diagnosing. thank you great vid.

For the caps around the charging IC, yes. In continuity mode each capacitor should only beep on one side.
