I refer to Compassion child sponsorship as a 'ministry opportunity served on a silver platter'. Be faithful, trusting the Lord to accomplish wonderful things. I enjoyed hearing what other sponsors had to say.
I've been a sponsor since 2002. It is one of the greatest joys in my life. So far I have visited 10 of them and waiting for CI to open the visits again so I can visit Jui from Bangladesh, Ana from Mexico, Bily from Haiti and Janelle from the Philippines. Why sponsor a child? Because you have compassion and love for these children.
