DJ Carlo I totally admire the fact that you give free advice out and great advice it is. I have a complicated question and hope this is the place to ask it. I have seen some well known DJ's do an effect during mixing. While playing a song and while the music is playing of that same song, they scratch the first word of the lyric in. But at the same time the music of that same song is playing. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right but if I am, can you please give a tutorial on how this is done. It would be very greatly appreciated. I've always wondered how this is done and how it's possible

for a lot of the aspiring teenage djs like myself, i got most of my music library through my parents itunes account, however there are problems with that 1: anything bought before .m4p files became obsolete cant be used in dj software so most of the hard hitting tracks that were bought before 2009 cant be used 2: that library could have music that is extremely difficult to use in a dj scenario (the live versions of songs).
Can I use V8 sound card to the pioneer ddj200 to use a microphone while doin DJ at home and using iPad Pro instead of using laptop? I am a beginner and want to learn DJ?

hey dj carlo umm what songs should i download for my next gig
for a lot of the aspiring teenage djs like myself, i got most of my music library through my parents itunes account, however there are problems with that

I rarely find the r&b songs I want. And it’s very frustrating. I use bpm, dj city and SoundCloud
