I see a bass back there . John Entwistle aka Thunder fingers, The Ox set the bar on rock bass. He said he wasn't a bass player, he was a bass guitarist. To emphasize this point you need to listen to "The Real Me" The bass will blow your mind . He also helped in the development of Rotosound bass strings , Geddy Lee's go to's.
Such a good review! This band is one of the very best...Animal from The Muppets was fashioned after Keith Moon. Beautiful, actually. Thank you for sharing this one...=)
My constructive (hopefully) criticism is to not worry about saying "uh". It's normal and I think people will become fans of you and your channel when you "just be yourself". I'm appreciating your thoughts and insights into music. It was interesting to hear what you said about newer music not being as good as '70s. I totally agree. I've been loving '70s music for 50 years now and I never hear anything else that I like better. I'm especially enjoying your dive into Yes. They're my fav.
This isn't the official album version. The synth intro would have oscillated back and forth between the L and R channels and sounds more hip, and the mix is different. Check out Yes' 'Fragile'.
I give it a like but this studio outtake seems to be all reactors react to. Keith is just messing about, mugging for the camera. Check out A Quick One While He's Away from the Rolling Stones" Rock and Roll Circus from '68. The Who blew them off the stage and Jagger didn't have it released or decades. Check out The Kids Are Alright, rockumentary (this is in there). LOL, actually, so is A Quick One. Quadrophenia!
Baba O'Riley is another great Who song. To understand who they are you should watch a live performance as they are STRANGE. Love the music but as people they're a bìt too much. I don't like it when misicians destroy their instruments
WHO wants to see a reaction to s'thing you've seen? At least pick another song. And go deeeep first for a change. And it's Abbott & Costello that does Who's on 1st? What!? 2nd base!
