Well, I'd say when it comes to comic book movies. But overall, I think "Everything Everywhere All at Once" is also intelligent with its multiverse concept.
Something that interesting to note is that Gwen leaving caused the Captain to quit, thereby breaking Gwen’s cannon event since her father was supposed to die when he got promoted. So Miles broke the cannon.

the animation in this film is a work of art. it's like a painting that comes to life by the masters who defined the idea of art. animation will never be the same after this film and it will take years for animation to raise the bar.
I see a lot of people trashing on Captain Stacy but think of things from his perspective. He wrongly but firmly believes that Ghost Spider killed Peter Parker. At the very least, he believes that she should stand trial like any other person caught in that situation. When he finds out the Ghost Spider is his daughter, he stands by what he believes in and arrests her anyway. He doesn't give her any leeway because shes his daughter. It doesn't mean he wouldn't emotionally support her later; it just means he will do his job fairly no matter what. I see a good cop, and I think he made the right decision given how he is supposed to know what's really going on?
Your tweaking he did everything right. He was being lied to by his daughter for god knows how long. Killed an innocent science loving kid that happened to be her best friend he didn’t know how to feel. That bagdge had him confused

She lied to him, she broke the law and she's still the prime suspect in Peter's death. It's his job to uphold the law and bring justice to the deceased. Goerge Stacy did nothing wrong here. He is a good cop who did his duty. You say family is important, would you still be saying that if Gwen really did kill Peter? What if Gwen really was a serial killer, would family still be important then? He didn't abandon her, he did his job as an officer of the law. Gwen is the vigilante who broke the law and must face the consequences.

I mean look what happened to Captain Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man, he died because of The Lizard. The audience know what Captain Stacy did was wrong abandoning your daughter is inexcusable even if she was trying the truth. She lost her best friend too and thought about Peter every single day. And what if is not relevant to the reality of this movie and she didn't cause it on purpose. Gwen is not the one in the wrong here, Captain Stacy is.
If I'm being honest I don't remember much from this movie The only thing I remember is that Spider-Man 2099 or Miguel O'Hara makes an appearance in the movie and he's technically the movies main antagonist because he tries to attack Miles throughout the movie maybe I should go back and watch this movie cuz it looks really good but the only thing I distinctly remember from this movie is Spider-Man 2099 makes an appearance as the main antagonist

Once I heard that gun shot in theaters, I knew the tone of the movie change from that point
