    What a great video! I really enjoyed learning about your ways of creating a more healthy and balanced life. I've been exchanging my mindless morning phone scroll for reading in a book and, what has made the biggest for me, is doing yoga in the morning - just 10-15 minutes every day. It's a great moment to check in and take care of yourself. And a few months in, I suddenly found myself stronger and healthier than before. Small habits make all the difference!

    I do the same thing with meals. It’s so much easier to make the goal to eat one good meal each day, and by doing that, I often find that I eat more than one good meal.

    Walking and more walking.. that my healthy habit of 2020.. meals are still a struggle but I loved your suggestion of just one 'green' meal a day.

    Great video, I try to incorporate many of these into my life too and I find them super helpful. But, I find it hard to still choose to do them when I am not feeling good - sad, tired etc. I rationally know that they will make me feel better, yet I can't get myself to do it and often end up distracting myself with Netflix, insta or TH-cam. Any tips on still making good choices when you are feeling down?

      Totally get it-I think it’s important to give us grace to have those moments! It’s okay to give yourself time to be down...I find if I brush over them, I make the problem worse 😅 but once you’ve had your moment, I find forcing myself to get ready for the day helps start a refocusing 🙌 you also can start shifting out of that by starting off with really small steps...no need to completely shift everything at once. That’s really hard to do ❤️

    LOOOVE the advices, many of these I have been doing unconsciously especially, wind down time, silent time, and a good meal a week (or more), and others you mentioned are awesome to incorporate. I am a believer that taking time to be present and aware of how we are feeling has a very positive impact on us and now especially with how things are lately. Good to see young people understanding the importance of a good self-care and growth routine and able to communicate this to others and help them too!!! KIDOS (from a busy mom that goodness know to stop, be present and take care of oneself to be ok for their family is crucial :) )

    Good tips Caitlin. I'm in mid terms right now and definitely feeling very burnt out and losing my steam in terms of routine and pace. And yes, it's been so difficult sleeping lately right after studying all night. Going to try to unplug earlier and see if that helps boost me back into the right mode. Keep up the great content 👍
