People in Call Of Duty never do anything to stop vehicles, unlike in Battlefield where everyone is a one man anti-tank crew.
The problem is the AT weapon on CoD barely works against their intended target and also the limited ammo you can carry just makes equipping them a disadvantage. Firing up front barely damages the APC and tanks, although it only takes two rockets/missile if you hit the critical spots to disable it (The rear, incase of APC and tanks). Still takes 3 or 4 shots to completely destroy one.
Except I never have enough ammo to take out a tank, but when I'm in one, I get shot with one rocket and blow up.

I wish we were playing with the same teams in Battlefield.
I'll be hitting with 3 javelins then be killed and no one on my team finishes the job.

The other team though? Everyone is Sundance or Mackay with C5 and just blow us up in seconds

The vehicles in COD with the "BF mode" would been so great if they actually felt like they are heavy and control less like a RC car. And have them be able to driver over more things, so many things just stop it by it's track.
I mean MP of CoD games before COD 4 was literally Downsized Battlefield
I hate how BF and COD both handle vehicles, the 170° 3rd-person FOV makes them extremely overpowered. I much prefer games where you can only use a 1st-person gunner sight or commander hatch view.

I play a lot of ground war/Invasion and it's a good bit of battlefield-esque fun.
Not tried this but ground war has always been kinda like battlefield - albeit a lot more chaotic and casual
Groundwar is also 64 players though on certain maps it's a little less.
Nothing like battlefield which is class based has gadgets combined arms warfare this is big open sniper maps with OP vehicles

@@iTomBasslol i can’t even agree with that statement battlefield’s chaos makes you feel like you’re fighting a real war at times man. COD never gives you that level of atmosphere.
@@colbyboucher6391 you can actually fight back against all vehicles in battlefield. In cod you’re essentially a deadman if you come across any APC.
No jets, no gunboats, no weaponized helo’s, barely any vehicle customization. May sound a little gatekeepy but it’s barely the same.
Ik it’s just cosmetic but I swear, seeing cats and super hero’s running around kills any immersion I had from this game, and when it launched despite all the problems I enjoyed it because of the attention to detail and more gritty tone. It’s not even recognizable now. Good video though jack love ya.

Doesn't matter what CoD does these modes will always feel like a poor man's Battlefield, even when compared to 2042. BattleBit does a much better job replicating Battlefield

@@TheJegameI don’t really have a side on the matter, but COD has been projectile based for quite a few games now. They ditched hitscan quite a while ago and the gunplay is very nice. Not even mentioning the best animations I’ve ever seen. But battlefield 4 will always have a place in my heart. I still love it to this day
@@cowsareperfectcowlover6420 false, TTK is too fast in CoD. Battlefield has a less of "who shoots first wins" feeling to its gunplay, the better player usually comes out on top. Let's not forget all the aspects of Battlefields gunplay that cod has "borrowed" over the last few years like projectile based guns and sniper glint

well with both CoD and Battlefield being awful for the last few years hopefully all this copying between the two will make for some revived competiton between the two and hopefully result in some good games finally for us

This reminds me of CTF in COD3 (yes, COD3, the one released in 2006) but it was way more hard but just as goofy
I like how u can play any gamemode and not only make it seem fun but actually have fun playing. Makes me want to try out the modes myself except whenever i play on ground war maps its always get sniped in the head by a camper in a rooftop every 5 seconds

i like the idea of cod in this style but i really dont think their gun play mechanics feel good at this scale
The gunplay is fine at distance, just look at warzone. The thing that really holds these modes back is the clunky driving and lack of destruction. Now I know the 2nd thing probably won't ever get implemented but fixing the feel of driving/flying would go a long way.
@@Shaggie_Thrills Sorry but it's not fine. The fact that you can get laserbeamed at long range with almost any gun makes the game mode feel really campy. The huge magazine sizes, fast reload speeds and fast TTK don't help as well. The reason why people run around freely in BF is because you don't get heavily punished for not hiding in a building.
Edit: Also Warzone has armor plates.
@@kionera96 Took the words right out of my mouth. Armor plates DESPERATELY need to be added to Ground War, maybe as a Field Upgrade & spawn with plates by default as well

Vehicles feel way too arcady in COD plus there is no map destruction which is a major turn off. I still remember not being able to run over a road sign with my tank... like wtf? :D
5 seconds in and I already know why I will not touch this game again.
While I like groundwar on paper, I dislike playing it as all I ever encounter are tank campers, spawn snipers that dont even render in past a certain distance and the more than broken squad spawn system. Tanks move like they're on super sonic hyper speed with infinite machine gun/missile ammo that shoots way faster than their real life counterparts. So it always amazes me how certain aspects of the game are balanced and designed around "realism" but here they are with supersonic hyper tanks and furry cats with gats and nicki Minaj running around my battlefield. Realism, gotta love it.

Coming back to modern COD games after a few months is always a trip. I leave and it's normal modern military stuff, but like... COD... Come back months later and there's superheroes, snoop dogg, paintball guns, double suns and everyone acts like this is normal.

My favorite Game mode in BF is CTF. Grab a motorcycle and Go. Helicopters were also super fun.
This jack is a perfect demonstration of what ruined battlefield. When it first became uber popular back in the day it attracted too many brain dead cod players and dice started pandering to them .
