They honestly should’ve kept this game alive longer, had so much momentum after the pacific DLC… underrated game
They had to rush out 2042 :(
Because everyone massively hated on it while it was up n running.
They killed any momentum they had with the TTK 2.0 change debacle. I stopped playing after that and so did a lot of others.
Release now the abandoned content!!! You cheated us!!!!
Yeah it's true...the ge had an awful beginning and so many weird developments, but they abandoned the project right the moment they had it figured out
BFV and especially BF1 are SOOOO immersive it's insane. Both have issues but honestly they're awesome memories

I don’t get the immersion from BFV, but BF1 is probably one the most immersive games I’ve ever played.

Canceled way too early. Would've been great to have Normandy or Berlin as maps. Yes it was bugged six ways to Sunday but it was still fun to play. It was also way more immersive than BF2042.

Just like Battlefront 2, it still had a ton of potential. Can't believe development for both games got cut for 2042.
Agreed no WW2 games can be complete without the classic battles.
Wasn't their goal for BFV to focus on "lesser known battles." They actively avoided the well known and big battles and locations
Despite the many flaws, this game has honestly grew to be one of my favorites in the franchise. The gameplay is just so enjoyable, such a shame DICE has failed to fulfill its potential
I can’t think of any flaws aside just needing more maps. Game is the most near perfect battlefield of all time
@@enjoi9970 Only major flaw I know of, is the rampant unapologetic cheating. I played for a year, and it was a steady greased slide down into "barely playable" because of all the cheaters. SO, unless Dice has made some major headway vs cheating on bf5 in the last couple years?
2042 doesn't seem to have nearly so much cheating.
@@enjoi9970 couldnt say that at launch though. it went through many changes to get to the state its in now
No DICE tried to fulfill its potential, but the player base didn’t want anything to do with it at time, if you truly believed DICE failed, then why did they support BFV for almost 2 years
@@XenonArcher Gameplay has stayed pretty much the same. The TTK changes actually made the game better so but that’s really it
This game had probably some of my best gaming memories. The music especially on Breakthrough when you're either attacking or defending the final objective was so immense. The gunplay, the movement, the atmosphere, the graphics, all so, so good. Really wish they continued this game. The Pacific DLC was one of DICE's best DLCs in my opinion.

BFV and BF1 were honestly just fantastic even with their flaws. I definitely wish we could have gotten D-Day themed maps.

Imagine if all the wasted hours on 2042 were spent on BFV what a game it would be
yes. The thing is battlefield 1 and battlefield 5 have such a smooth and good looking animations from when running, walking, reload,..... it's just perfect and for some reasons, 2042 is just failed in every aspects of this, movements feel like walking on ice, weapons animations while look good enough but look so robotic,.... and the thing is 2042 dont even have a campaign which mean they have more time to polish the game better than their previous games but still look worse and got mixed reviews compare to their previous games

I was playing BFV yesterday and I got 37 kills and 27 of them were headshots with the kar98, one of the most satisfying games ever

Bf1 and bf5 had so much love poured into them from the devs the attention to detail and immersion is great. Bf5 had a lot of issues but you can still tell the devs worked hard on it. You lose a lot of that in 2042
Played battlefield v since beginning and still play. Didn't understand why people are complaining about it so much. Few months ago i bought 2042 because it was cheap, played it 2 days and back to bf v.
The Battlefield 1 and V videos are always a treat to watch
Would've loved an eastern front DLC, imagine all the vehicles, T-34s, Panthers, would of been sick
If they brought in the Soviets, I'd still be playing that game to this day

I just love how immersive the atmosphere and graphics are with BF5/BF1. I need that atmosphere but with a modern BF game. That’s where 2042 missed.

BFV is so fun. The sounds alone are iconic. I love the movement on high FOV. The shotgun is way too op though. I got killed with a shotgun from what seemed to be about two football fields distance.
There are options on shotguns to change the bullet from slugs to sniper rounds

BFV is literally the best world war two game ive ever played. I always say it was the world war 2 game I always wanted as a kid. It has everything regarding planes tanks vehicles, gameplay! If only it had a full campaign and the eastern front. Game could've been the best ww2 game ever

1:45 Wow, even the M1911 in this game is far superior to the one in BF2042. The sound, the animation, the nice silvery texture. SO GOOD.

Battlefield 1 & V are both such good games played it with my friends for years and still are solid games today!
It's kind of amazing how 2042 retroactively makes this game look even better. This was my first BF game since 3, and I definitely miss the photogrammetry and atmosphere. It seems like they completely forgot about all that stuff with the new one.

Battlefield V multiplayer makes me have hours of fun, I love the maps because they have spectacular views, they have good designs, many things can be destroyed, the map is interactive, it accommodates everything that is happening on the battlefield, you can make a trench yourself and in my personal opinion this title is better than its successor. Pick it up off ps plus, i was overjoyed the m1 garrand was a starting weapon ive not used since bad company 2.

I loved battlefield V so much. I could just never convince my friends to get it. I loved the V-2 rocket kill streak. I remember when the game was still new and I got a team wipe with a rocket on that snow mountain map. It was so satisfying.
Its my favorite BF. Just wish it had more weapons and got more support than it did. Was finally in a good place by the end and wish they were able to build on that. Instead, we got a far worse off 2042. Pain.
