- Today we begin a new travel series, Our destination is the third largest national park of Thailand known as Khao Yai and it is known for it's beauty, wildlife and mountainous terrain. We will arrive to the park and check-in to a lovely waterfall resort and checkout all the amenities to enjoy our first evening of the trip in style. Enjoy the Ride!

Lucas very nice hotel. Amenities looked great and it appeared very quiet & peaceful. Be more careful when walking. As you get older we don't take to slips and spills very well. Stay Safe !!

Amazing to see the places in Kao Yai. I'm regularly there with my wife and son in the "winter" times where it is cool and different from Bangkok heat. I also stop at that same gas station as you took the video. I'm heading to Thailand in 7 days, and I can't wait to come back to Kao Yai. Kao Yai seems to be a place also for the "upper" class, as there are many HiSo restaurants and hotels scattered around there.

I like Khao Yai, we spent 4 days there a couple of years ago, a lovely place to visit, lots to see and plenty of waterfalls. But 3600 a night for the first hotel, as nice as it was, was crazy!

I have the exact same kind of insect net for my balcony, just in black color. It works great!
I bought a couple in Canada for Thailand, but they didn't last. The ones in Thailand are cheaper and better quality.
At Korat it connected into the Friendship Highway up to Udorn. I drove those road many times in the 60s and we were about the only thing on the road and no services. We had our own fuel and water trucks.
That door netting has been sold on infomercials in the states for about the last 10 years. Every summer it comes back to late-night tv. You might be able to find them on lazada for your deck doors too if you want.
Checked amazon and they are 25 bucks for sliding glass door ones.
