I love the Ft Worth. The water gardens, the botanical gardens (beautiful) and lots of cool beautiful parts. Great museums too. It’s hard to find the best places just looking from the highway though.
Don’t let the haters get to you. I’ve lived in Texas since the 80s and Ive always had the exact same opinion of FT Worth as you all. I love San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas, but I’ve never been able to warm up to Ft Worth.

You drive around downtown then move on to some of the less affluent areas of Ft Worth for only 45 minutes. You did not visit the museum district, or the stock yards, or the jewel of Ft Worth - Trinity Park. Trinity park is a beautiful park along the trinity river right in the middle of Ft Worth. It's 3000 acres of park with miles of walking/biking trails and restaurants along the river. Then there is the FT Worth zoo, and TCU's campus area. FT Worth has been a great place to live, with ample shopping, restaurants, and great healthcare facilities. However, it is being overrun with transplants from other states and illegal aliens from the southern border which is slowly bringing the quality of life in Ft Worth down and increasing the cost of housing... but that's true of most cities in Texas these days. Edited to add the botanical gardens across the street from Trinity Park, and the water gardens downtown (part of the movie Logans Run was filmed on location there).
I grew up in Fort Worth and Crowley. It was the best place for a kid to grow up, but even my beautiful neighborhood has been overrun by classless morons.
Born and raised in fw, voted one of the best cities to live in, it's a very big city with lots to do, maybe try exploring other parts of town besides a 10 min drive through the ghetto rundown parts
I'm not originally from Fort Worth, but when I moved there I fell in love with the city. If a person hasn't explored Fort Worth and actually lived in the city you shouldn't say anything negative nor positive. I lived there long enough to know it has its bad sides, but it also has a bunch of beauty and culture. Just stay away from Lancaster going east towards Arlington and it's a fun place to live.

For someone that was in the military back in the early 70s I did two terms and had the chance to explore LA, London and Paris France. Dallas sorta feel like a city but Ft Worth nearing 1 million does not have a big city feel and has no skyscrapers above 600 feet.
You rarely see sky scrapers in Europe most Europeans feel its tacky and Washington DC is a large city modeled after a European city with not a lot of city and Dallas sort of a city in that case los Angeles should be called a bigger version of Dallas one big strip mall.what many would call a real city is somewhere you do not need a car to navigate like new york city or Boston

There are 7 million people in the Dallas/Fort Worth area I'm sure there is something positive there or there would be that many living there and comtinuing to move there. I have been in the area before and there are many areas that are vibrant and upscale. Most of those homes were in older 50's and 60's era areas not modern areas just look up real estate there.

You drove all around Sun Dance Square Downtown but totally missed it and didn't quite find it. Of course it was a disappointment, you drove around all the great spots and missed them. You need a tour guide or a better plan, if you had gone a block or two more, you would have had a much better experience... Do you need someone to plan your trips out for you?
Bruh I see these streets everyday and sseing them on cam hits different. I would say it is kinda bland and vanilla but also has some nice spots, the stockyards, texas motor speedway, the botanical gardens, TCU, the water gardens downtown, will rogers memorial, all the museums. I do hope you give my city another shot.

The cattle drives passed through Fort Worth from South Texas to Wichita, Kansas so there are lots of cattle references. Longhorn cattle represent Fort Worth. You drive past a lot of historical buildings including the hotel where JFK stayed on his last night. Ah well, I guess you see what you want to see. Next time you come to Fort Worth come to the Southwest side on I 20 near Hulen st its popin over there I'm a Fort Worth Native the time you hit the city was before Rush hour around 3 to 7 I-35 is a full parking lot lol heavy traffic but Fort Worth is a great city to Raise a Family better than Dallas but both cities are connected to each other DFW is one of the biggest Metro areas in the US with close to 7 million people Dallas population is 1.3 Million and Fort Worth population 913k all most at a million and growing lots of new homes everywhere in the city Far Southwest side and far Northside with the surrounding suburban cities around Tarrant County, and other counties in The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex there is always something for everyone's needs.

Disappointing for sure. The DFW area, including Fort Worth is just a concrete jungle, with crazy traffic and freeways. Just a bunch of buildings and houses on garbled prairie.
The grass and trees Andre not dead. You are driving through during the winter. Trees don’t have leaves here in the winter and the grass in dormant. You also don’t drive around into a city and not know what areas to drive to get the vibe. FW is not a thriving metropolis but it has a lot of things you want living in a city. Houston ate most of its suburbs to be the largest city in Texas. Houston is 640 sq mi of land. While Dallas is only 350 sq mi. If Dallas had the same city limit size, it’ll be the same size as Houston.

I worked downtown Ft Worth for a few years. It's very nice and clean. Police are aggressive and will pull you over for looking at them wrong so there's that.

Next time you come to Fort Worth come to the Southwest side on I 20 near Hulen st its popin over there I'm a Fort Worth Native the time you hit the city was before Rush hour around 3 to 7 I-35 is a full parking lot lol heavy traffic but Fort Worth is a great city to Raise a Family better than Dallas but both cities are connected to each other DFW is one of the biggest Metro areas in the US with close to 7 million people Dallas population is 1.3 Million and Fort Worth population 913k all most at a million and growing lots of new homes everywhere in the city Far Southwest side and far Northside with the surrounding suburban cities around Tarrant County, and other counties in The Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex there is always something for everyone's needs.
Every big city in Texas has about 10 really great suburbs
I usually love ur channel,but u dropped the ball with this one. FW actually has a lot to offer. Im saying that as a Houstonian. U drove around mostly downtown. Its family friendly(for the most part) and safer than most big Texas cities. My city is plagued with human trafficking.Were it not for my horrible allergies, I would move. U dropped the ball here Jose,respectfully.😕
I've always hated Fort Worth. There's a few things to do being a major city but nothing I cared for. I hate the city vibe.

And truly, I will have done every arcade(including cidercade, free play, and main events north and south, movie theater(including coyote drive in and the rooftop one), clothing store, outlet and inlet malls like La gran plaza, ridgmar is dead, Hulen and Irving malls are good, nightclub, chain store, clear fork is solid, Sundance square, restaurant, four day weekend and laughing hyenna, Main Street and commerce, toys for tots, dive bar, sports grille, live music venue, culture district on west 7th and on campus Bowie, six flags/hurricane harbor, ft worth and Dallas zoo, aquarium, planetarium, art, history and science museum, casa manana, Barnes and nobles and half priced books, Sci fi factory and what used to be lone star comics, water gardens, stockyards, bass hall, botanical and Japanese gardens, Mayfest, grapevine fest, wine tasting and art gallery, the whole trinity trail hike, that log cabin, Scot Irish festival, Akon anime convention, that ren faire in Waxahachie, dickies sports arena
And American Airlines center, both DFW/Dallas love fuel airports, ITC station of buses, trains, the dash, Molly the trolley, dart, still want to take Texas eagle and more dart train, central market venue, barrato bizarre before it became a hardware store, the flea market by the golden glove, loop 820 and I 35 West to Hulen, been to Sansom park, haltom city, Irving, grapevine, Lancaster, Rose dale, Arlington, Richland hills, mercantile street, hemp hill, carrolton where the Asian culture district is, there’s a Bosnian sub culture somewhere, many a health wellness spa, deprivation tank, massage service, VR sandbox, there’s a Mediterranean and Lebanese subculture area, aqua de milon and tortas at the Mercado fiesta mart district, avoided oak cliff, TCU university area before Roberts cut off, water crest and McKinney, mansfield, avoid Las Vegas trail, every bowling alley including alley cats, cowtown, and bowl lounge, fun on the run paintball, Montgomery plaza, LA and planet fitness for a bit, burgers lake, watched the mavs, rangers,
And the cowboys, been to Billy bobs, reata rooftop but not the other three yet, the Omni theater.
Dallas is great! You guys would like it. especially the restaurants.

Disappointing for sure. The DFW area, including Fort Worth is just a concrete jungle, with crazy traffic and freeways. Just a bunch of buildings and houses on garbled prairie.
The grass and trees Andre not dead. You are driving through during the winter. Trees don’t have leaves here in the winter and the grass in dormant. You also don’t drive around into a city and not know what areas to drive to get the vibe. FW is not a thriving metropolis but it has a lot of things you want living in a city. Disappointed in your approach
Also fw is so big it partly flows into some of the neighboring counties
This is the city along with others that Dallas teamed up with to try to compete with Houston
Houston ate most of its suburbs to be the largest city in Texas. Houston is 640 sq mi of land. While Dallas is only 350 sq mi. If Dallas had the same city limit size, it’ll be the same size as Houston.

Fort Worth is supposed to have one if the best downtowns in America says some publications. They center it around Sundance Square I think that’s what’s it called. It could be paid cap tho lol
I worked downtown Ft Worth for a few years. It's very nice and clean. Police are aggressive and will pull you over for looking at them wrong so there's that.
