The Holy Trinity

  • The Holy Trinity is the most fundamental of all truths in the Christian faith that all other truths of the faith rest upon.
The difference between the mystery of the Holy Trinity and most, if not all, other mysteries of our faith is that this mystery of the Trinity is not about what God has done for us but about who God is in himself.
Check out this video with Dr. Brant Pitre to learn more about the Holy trinity and the readings for this upcoming Sunday Mass.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." Might be hard for you to comprehend this belief but only a few do . Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

@@cornelio7694 : I see those scriptures but fail to see how that would take anyone to heaven? Those and others promise obedient humans everlasting life here on earth. The opposite to everlasting life is everlasting destruction.
Psalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.
Jesus too made that clear at Matthew 5:5.
Believing something by faith is what is called blind faith. All religions have it because they promise some sort of reward after death. The bible gives us a basis for believing certain things.
Hebrews 11:11 Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen.
The above is the bible's definition of faith. Faith based on realities although not seen because we are sure of these.

So you are damned and will be continue to be blinded and cast out as with the rest of nonbelievers .Obedience is the first law of heaven, the cornerstone upon which all righteousness and progression rest. It consists in compliance with divine law, in conformity to the mind and will of Deity, in complete subjection to God from God has given to His people for their benefit ‘reward ‘and spiritual well-being.The reality is your heart is harden it’s the worst thing you can do is harden a heart & mind towards God. The consequences of such obstinancy are devastating.

The trinity is not biblically accurate .
Psalms 83:18 gives god a name. God and Jesus each have their own name.
Jesus is called the firstborn of all creation, meaning he was created, meaning he cannot be God. No one created God.
Jesus was also dead for 3 days. God cannot die. And if you are dead you can't resurrect yourself, because you're dead.

The Principal theme within The Real Presence of The Holy Spirit ("Spirit of Holiness") really IS The Unifying Bond, and through which there EXISTS True "AGREEMENT" Manifested by The Spirit Of Holiness in the 'Person'-Attributes of Father and Son, thus essentially making Them "ONE" In Being, while at the same time possessing the 'Person'-Attributes of Father-ship and Son-ship (the former representative of "Loving Authority", and the latter, of "Loving Obedience").

Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you." From this, the Perfect Unity of both Thinking and Action that does indeed exist within the 'Person'-Attributes of Father and Son is unambuguously made clear, in that this IS a Statement Of 'Full Authority'. Profoundly seen also in this Statement by JESUS Is: When JESUS Is physically present on Earth in the body, both in the prior to death and the glorified after Resurrection 'states', The Father and Holy Spirit ARE Manifested in This Presence which therefore, IS A "PRESENCE" that Embodies Father, Son and Spirit...All in the outward physical representation of The One Physical Body of JESUS CHRIST. The theophany of the Holy Spirit is fire (the burning bush, the fire falling from heaven consuming the Iijaha's sacrifice, the flames at Pentecost). But it was often a cloud which God the Father spoke from (a pillar of cloud by day (and fire at night), on the mount when giving the law to Moses, on the mountain when proclaiming, 'This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, listen to him." And the form/theophany of the Son (the Angel of the Lord) was seen with Abraham, in the burning bush, etc.

Note in v.33, the last one to leave is "the Lord." All through that section He, unlike the other two guests, is refered to by Abraham as, "my Lord." However, I should mention that the "angel of the Lord" was also in the pillar of fire that lead Israel by night in Exodus.

Reading other comments here and elsewhere distresses me at just how many unitarians [those who identify as Christian but deny the Trinity] there are. Yet Catholics and protestants both teach the Trinity and some protestants even observe our festival of The Most Holy Trinity [Trinity Sunday], on the same date as us - The First Sunday after Pentecost. The Orthodox, and Eastern Catholics who follow the same calendar as the Orthodox are slightly different, to them Pentecost Sunday and Trinity Sunday are observed concurrently [together on the same day] rather than consecutively [one after the other]. The West generally dislikes concurrence, but the East has no problem with it, for instance, as an extreme example, if the Annunciation [April 7 in the East] falls in the Triduum both will be observed together.

So we're really talking about the ways in which God is revealed and manifested. How do we perceive God? If it's in our hearts, causing us to do good in the world, that's the Spirit, the inspiration of God. If we look to Jesus and his teachings and redemptive role, that's God' s voice, face and sacrifice. If we only know God as spirit, the eternal and uncaused cause, that's the essence of God, the kind of unknowable God.

      There is no trinity
Hebrews 1:5 tells us that Jesus was begotten by His Father. You cannot be begotten by yourself.
      2. In Matthew 22:44, the Father said Jesus would sit at His right hand until His enemies were made His footstool. Was Jesus to sit at His own right hand?
      3. In Matthew 24:36, when Jesus told His disciples that no one knows the day or hour of His return but the Father only. If Jesus were God, he would know when his return was.
      4. In John 14:28, Jesus said His Father was greater than He was. So clearly Jesus cannot be God.
      5. In John 17:1, Jesus prayed to His Father. You don't pray to yourself. Clearly he was praying to God.
      6. In Matthew 27:46, Jesus cried out, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" Showing that he was talking to someone else.
      7. In John 20:17, Jesus said He would ascend to the Father after His resurrection. You can't ascend to yourself. Again showing that he is not God.
      8. Psalms 83:18 gives God a name. Its Yawhew, or Jehovah in English. Two separate names. Two separate individuals
      9. Jesus died and was dead for 3 days. God is eternal. Therefore he cannot be God.
There are many others but you get my point. The Bible is clear. Jesus is not God.

You further need to go back to John. Read John 1:2.
Read John 1:3 and relate it to Genesis 1 wherever creation is made it says "God said..." the Word of God created the world.
Jesus is truly God and truly human. But even though He is God he didnt regard the equality to God as something to hold on (Phil 2:5-8). When Jesus died on the cross, it was his human nature that died. (Rev 11:8, Heb 6:6, and yes, the apostles knew it was his human nature that was killed).

To even question "the Trinity" is like lighting a fuse. Someone's bound to explode with anger and accusations like "cult" and "heretic." But being mortal as we are, we don't "get" what it's like to be spirit and are poorly qualified to explain spiritual things. However: in scripture we can we can find plenty of evidence *against* a trinity.
▬ Most New Testament letters begin with greetings such as "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." All these greetings *_include both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ._*
But *_none of them includes the holy spirit._* Not one of them mentions or includes or addresses the holy spirit as a person.
Can we be open-minded enough to consider this as evidence that the apostles - the writers of these letters - did *not* believe the holy spirit was a third person?
▬ John 14:23 shines much-needed light on the topic. Here Jesus explains that both He and the Father would come and dwell in us. *They - the two - would make their "abode" in us:*
⚫ "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23)
Jesus said He and the Father would dwell in is. Obviously that's two, not three.
⚫ "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Cor 8:6)
Again, it's two: the Father and the Lord Jesus.
[It's interesting to note the similarity between this verse, and others which show creation of all things was directed (re: "of whom") by the Father . . . and was executed (re: "by whom") -by or through Jesus. Compare to Eph 3:9, Hebrews 1:1,2 and Col 1:16; only the Father and Jesus are in these verses as well.
"And we by him"??? Creation is *still* in process by or through Jesus. Through Jesus sons and daughters for the Fathers eternal family are being created, right now, as they abide in Him.]
The two - the Father and Jesus - function as one. Jesus said:
⚫ "I and my Father are one." (John 10:30) Again, that's two -"I and my Father" . . . no mention of a third person.
"God is a spirit" (John 4:24) and is holy. When we have the holy spirit in us, we have God the Father and Jesus dwelling in us -just as Jesus said in John 14:23: " . . . and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
Now notice Romans 8:9: the "Spirit of God" and the "Spirit of Christ" both dwell in us (not some sort of third/other person):
⚫ "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his"
▬ We see God as "us" back in Genesis:
⚫ "And God said, Let *us* make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." (Gen 1:26)
Who are the "us"? The Father and Jesus, as we saw earlier in 1 Cor 8:6 where creation was directed by the Father and executed by Jesus. Here are additional examples:
⚫ "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" (Hebrews 1:1,2)
⚫ "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Eph 3:9).
▬ Who are the "us"? It is the Father, and the "Word" who was *with* God from the beginning . . . And *was* God . . . and *was made flesh:* Jesus.
⚫ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him [just like the "by him" we saw back in 1 Cor 8:6] and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)
⚫ "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
Here's another example of "us" in Genesis:
⚫ "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of *us,* to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" (Gen 3:22).
▬ Although the Father and Jesus are "one," they seemingly can have separate identity or person:
⚫ "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17:5)
What about the favorite trinitarian verses?
▬ 1 John 5:7-8 has questionable origin. Look up the "Johannine Comma" ("comma" referring to the phrase in 1 John 5:7,8) to get the detail on that. 1 John 5:7-8 is apparently not found in the majority of early Greek texts, but appears in later Latin texts . . . causing great controversy back in the early 1500s.
▬ Matthew 28:19 is also questionable:
⚫ "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
Why is it questionable? Because what the apostles actually *did* was baptize *in Jesus' name only:*
⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
⚫ "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)" (Acts 8:16)
⚫ "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10:48)
⚫ "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 19:5)
⚫ "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" (Romans 6:3)

An advise: despite your lack of trust in the Gospel preached by His Church, (so remain unbaptized into His church) you use a guide book meant for those who believes in the Gospel, only to end up unwittingly worshipping scripts. Remember scripts do not convey as is anything the author want to convey. So make sure your mind and the mind of the authors having ‘the faith’ are guided by the same spirit.

The Trinity explained in less than one min.
God is Time (as they are mutually inclusive) Father Time, at some point in the past, thought about His past. That thought He called, His Spirit (the spirit is mutually inclusive with the past and the future). His Spirit then thought of Their future, His Spirit envisioned taking an action. Then, the two of Them decided to act, that act they called Their Son. The Son is Life (as they are mutually inclusive). Together the Father, the Son and the Spirit worked together to create a future for Themselves. Read Killing Abel for the full story.

      4. In John 14:28, Jesus said His Father was greater than He was. So clearly Jesus cannot be God.

The Trinity is one God existing in three Persons. Understand that this is not in any way suggesting three Gods. Keep in mind when studying this subject that the word “Trinity” is not found in Scripture. This is a term that is used to attempt to describe the triune God-three coexistent, co-eternal Persons who make up God. Of real importance is that the concept represented by the word “Trinity” does exist in Scripture. The following is what God’s Word says about the Trinity:
    1) There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4; Galatians 3:20; 1 Timothy 2:5).
    2) The Trinity consists of three Persons (Genesis 1:1, 26; 3:22; 11:7; Isaiah 6:8, 48:16, 61:1; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). In Genesis 1:1, the Hebrew plural noun "Elohim" is used. In Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7 and Isaiah 6:8, the plural pronoun for “us” is used. The word "Elohim" and the pronoun “us” are plural forms, definitely referring in the Hebrew language to more than two. While this is not an explicit argument for the Trinity, it does denote the aspect of plurality in God. The Hebrew word for "God," "Elohim," definitely allows for the Trinity.
In Isaiah 48:16 and 61:1, the Son is speaking while making reference to the Father and the Holy Spirit. Compare Isaiah 61:1 to Luke 4:14-19 to see that it is the Son speaking. Matthew 3:16-17 describes the event of Jesus' baptism. Seen in this passage is God the Holy Spirit descending on God the Son while God the Father proclaims His pleasure in the Son. Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are examples of three distinct Persons in the Trinity.
    3) The members of the Trinity are distinguished one from another in various passages. In the Old Testament, “LORD” is distinguished from “Lord” (Genesis 19:24; Hosea 1:4). The LORD has a Son (Psalm 2:7, 12; Proverbs 30:2-4). The Spirit is distinguished from the “LORD” (Numbers 27:18) and from “God” (Psalm 51:10-12). God the Son is distinguished from God the Father (Psalm 45:6-7; Hebrews 1:8-9). In the New Testament, Jesus speaks to the Father about sending a Helper, the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). This shows that Jesus did not consider Himself to be the Father or the Holy Spirit. Consider also all the other times in the Gospels where Jesus speaks to the Father. Was He speaking to Himself? No. He spoke to another Person in the Trinity-the Father.
    4) Each member of the Trinity is God. The Father is God (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2). The Son is God (John 1:1, 14; Romans 9:5; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20). The Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 3:16).
    5) There is subordination within the Trinity. Scripture shows that the Holy Spirit is subordinate to the Father and the Son, and the Son is subordinate to the Father. This is an internal relationship and does not deny the deity of any Person of the Trinity. This is simply an area which our finite minds cannot understand concerning the infinite God. Concerning the Son see Luke 22:42, John 5:36, John 20:21, and 1 John 4:14. Concerning the Holy Spirit see John 14:16, 14:26, 15:26, 16:7, and especially John 16:13-14.
    6) The individual members of the Trinity have different tasks. The Father is the ultimate source or cause of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; Revelation 4:11); divine revelation (Revelation 1:1); salvation (John 3:16-17); and Jesus' human works (John 5:17; 14:10). The Father initiates all of these things.
The Son is the agent through whom the Father does the following works: the creation and maintenance of the universe (1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16-17); divine revelation (John 1:1, 16:12-15; Matthew 11:27; Revelation 1:1); and salvation (2 Corinthians 5:19; Matthew 1:21; John 4:42). The Father does all these things through the Son, who functions as His agent.
The Holy Spirit is the means by whom the Father does the following works: creation and maintenance of the universe (Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13; Psalm 104:30); divine revelation (John 16:12-15; Ephesians 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21); salvation (John 3:6; Titus 3:5; 1 Peter 1:2); and Jesus' works (Isaiah 61:1; Acts 10:38). Thus, the Father does all these things by the power of the Holy Spirit.
There have been many attempts to develop illustrations of the Trinity. However, none of the popular illustrations are completely accurate. The egg (or apple) fails in that the shell, white, and yolk are parts of the egg, not the egg in themselves, just as the skin, flesh, and seeds of the apple are parts of it, not the apple itself. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not parts of God; each of them is God. The water illustration is somewhat better, but it still fails to adequately describe the Trinity. Liquid, vapor, and ice are forms of water. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not forms of God, each of them is God. So, while these illustrations may give us a picture of the Trinity, the picture is not entirely accurate. An infinite God cannot be fully described by a finite illustration.

WHAT GOD IS, IS A HOLY SPIRIT. It is His Spirit, the Spirit of GOD. That is why the sin against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, for it is a sin against God Himself. The one living and true God. No one else. And not a portion of a plurality of persons either or one of the three persons of a man made creedal godhead.

Was one of history’s greatest scientists, Sir Isaac Newton correct in saying; Trinitarians were mistaken and misguided in its true interpretation of Christianity?
Did you know one of the history's greatest scientists Sir Isaac Newton (described in his own day as a "natural philosopher") who is widely recognised as one of the most influential scientists of all time and as a key figure in the scientific revolution,
    He has many sayings like:
The word God is nowhere in the scriptures used to signify more than one of the three persons at once.
Sir Isaac Newton believed the Roman Catholic Church was misguided in its interpretation of Christianity, and had returned to idolatry.
*Newton felt that belief in the holy trinity was a flagrant violation of the First of the Ten Commandments.*
Dr. Thomas G. Barnes, in his book "Science and Biblical Faith," 1993, (distributed by CRS Books) has two chapters on Newton. He says, on p. 44, "Newton was perhaps the greatest biblical scholar of his age."
    Barnes explains,
In 1669 Newton became Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Trinity College, Cambridge, one of the most honored professorships in the scientific world.

@@RGTomoenage11: Without reading the bible one cannot know what prophecies. Since the basis for the RCC beliefs is tradition and not the bible, these don't get read or discussed.
Acts 20:29  I (Paul) know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, 30 and from AMONG YOU yourselves men will rise and speak TWISTED THINGS to draw away the disciples after themselves.
2 Thessalonians 2:6 And now you know what is acting as a restraint, so that he will be revealed in his own due time. 7 True, the mystery of this lawlessness is ALREADY AT WORK, but only until the one who is right now acting as a restraint is OUT OF THE WAY. 8 Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of HIS PRESENCE.
The apostles were acting as a restraint to stop Satan taking over the congregation. Once they died, well, the rest is history. Fortunately, when Jesus' presence occurs (last Century) these lies would be exposed.
Jesus in his illustration of the weeds and the wheat showed that Satan would take control of the Christian congregation after the apostles die off the scene.
Read Matthew 13:24-30 and the explanation in 36-43.
Don't fight with me. I didn't give these prophecies.
Fortunately, God promises to RESTORE TRUE WORSHIP during these last days. By implication this rules out any of the churches which have held sway over the centuries from engaging in true worship. Else, what need for a restoration. Jesus called it the harvest.
Isaiah 2:1-4 and Micah 4:1-5 have these restoration prophecies.

How I learned the trinity was in a Catholic church , so what a better to understand the trinity than the NAB to refer from. This 1 is from Saint Jerome
Press, " Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ " St. Jerome . Let's start with Mat. 28:19 ,where the Father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit originated pg. 70 . In Mat. 28:16 Peter was 1 of the 11 that met with Jesus when they received the command 28:19, Luke 24:47 , pg. 141 this where I have to question the trinity " and that repentance, for the forgiveness of sins, would be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. So what does Peter do is in Acts 2:38 , he goes by Luke 24:47, not Mat. 28:19 . Page 180, & 181, we see Acts 2:38 Peter the 1st pope saying Repent & be baptized, every 1 of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, not the 3rd person of the trinity. On pg.181 Acts 2: 41 THOSE WHO ACCEPTED HIS MESSAGE WERE BAPTIZED, AND ABOUT 3000 PERSONS WERE ADDED THAT DAY . No mention of Father, Son & Holy Ghost here! On pg. 340 Hebrews 9:22 according to the law almost everything is purified by blood, & without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness . On pg. 120 Luke 11:13 Holy Spirit is a gift , pg. 181 Acts 2:38 Holy Spirit is a gift , not the 3rd person of the trinity ! On pg. 362 2 Peter 1:20 it says there is no prophecy of scripture that is a matter of personal interpretation. On pg. 183 Acts 4:12 There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven give to the human race by which we are to be saved. On pg. 289 Eph.4:5
1 Lord, 1 faith, 1baptism. I could go on all day ,so I will leave with this the NAB Bible is plausible when comes to being baptized correctly ," The NAB is alright, the Catholic faith is all wrong" Tom Fuschetti

    Genesis 18
The LORD appeared to Abraham near the large trees of Mamre. Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent. It was the hottest time of the day. 2 Abraham looked up and saw THREE men standing nearby. So he quickly left the entrance to his tent to greet them. He bowed low to the ground.
3 He said, “My lord, if you are pleased with me, don’t pass me by. 4 Let me get you some water. Then ALL of you can wash your feet and rest under this tree. 5 Let me get you something to eat to give you strength. Then you can go on your way. I want to do this for you now that you have come to me.”
“All right,” THEY answered. “Do as you say.”

: I noticed one has highlighted the THREE. Is that to indicate that the three parts of God were the three angels? How about the TWO angels who took Lot and his family out of Sodom? How about the HOST of angels who appeared at the birth of Jesus?
These were just angels sent by God. God cannot appear to humans in any form.
Exodus 33:20 But (God) added: “You cannot see my face, for no man can see me and live.”
This agrees with i John 4:12 'No man has seen God at ANY TIME.' Meaning NEVER.
Paul understood this because he wrote in reference to Abraham's experience:
Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget hospitality, for through it some unknowingly entertained angels.

Tonga Khan I’ve pondered on that and my take is that it could relate to the Trinity .
God can’t be seen by humans in his natural Devine form but God isn’t limited and can Manifest in other forms ,eg a burning bush .
With regards to Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah it states the visitors as angels, but with Abraham he says the Lord was outside his tent so I somehow feel that maybe it has reference to the idea of the trinity .

@@robbe8858 : Any angel who spoke on God's behalf was called God himself. Because, as you put it, humans can never see God.
Genesis 33:20  But (God) added: “You cannot see my face, for no man can see me and live.”
The above statement was also said by an angel
John writing many centuries later could verify that statement and say:
1 John 4:12 'No one has seen God at any time.'
Any times means NEVER. It cannot be NEVER if God has been seen in some form.
Judges 13:21 Jehovah’s ANGEL did not appear again to Ma·no′ah and his wife. Then Ma·no′ah REALIZED that he was Jehovah’s ANGEL. 22 Ma·no′ah then said to his wife: “We are sure to die, because it is GOD WHOM WE HAVE SEEN.”
I've capitalized words to stress the point. I hope you get it.
That may also explain why Thomas on realizing that Jesus was the promised Messiah from God addressed Jesus as God (John 20:28). Or he may have been looking upward and contritely seeking God's forgiveness for doubting.

@Tonito Reyes : When God spoke and said 'Let US make an in OUR image' he was speaking to someone. It was his first created intelligent creature whom the bible lovingly terms 'Only begotten Son' - John 3:16
John 1:1 shows this Son, who is also called God's spokesperson or Word, being beside God at the creation of the heavens and the earth.
Revelation 3:14 “To the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ce′a write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the BEGINNING of the creation by God:
      Clossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the FIRSTBORN of all creation;
Also, if humans were created in God's image and if he is three, then humans too should reflect that type of personality. Some do and it is called schizophrenia. It is a sickness. Not something normal.
Pardon my words. But necessary to drive home a point: If the holy spirit is God, then it would mean that God goes around making virgins pregnant.
The holy spirit is God's power which he uses to accomplish something. Jesus couldn't do any miracles until he got that power from God at his baptism. Holy spirit transferred the life force of Jesus from his heavenly form into the womb of Mary. This in order for Jesus to grow into a perfect human, and thus not have the stain of imperfection passed down through Adam to all his children.
The Nicean creed came at a time Jesus prophesied that Satan would be running his congregation.
If you Google or go to Wikipedia, you will know that a PAGAN Emperor of Rome presided over the council and adopted every possible teaching that was unscriptural. The trinity was one.

1 John 4:10  The love is in this respect, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins.
Thanks to this release, humans can live forever on this earth after God' government transforms it into a paradise. That was God's original purpose.
Psalm 37:29 'The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.'

What most don’t realize is there is a really big, deep, dark and sinister problem with anyone who calls himself a Christian (follower of Christ) and believes in the doctrine of the trinity. Trinitarians say Jesus is “CO-EQUAL with the Father and the Holy Spirit.” What many don’t know is that anyone who makes this claim or believes this teaching created by man (not God) is outright calling Christ and the Scriptures a liar. Now, why on earth would anyone want do something foolish like that?
Christ tells us himself that scripture cannot be broken (John 10:35). God's word reveals that the Father and the Son are in fact NOT CO-EQUAL as the false doctrine of the trinity claims. In the gospel of John, Christ states unambiguously, "MY Father IS GREATER than I." (John 14:28 KJV)
“Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to MY GOD and your God.’” (John 20:17)
“The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of MY GOD. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from MY GOD; and I will also write on them my new name.” (Rev 12:3)
Did you catch that? Christ has a God, his Father! We very well know that a son is not greater than his father.
Christ also said, “Very truly I tell you, NO SERVANT IS GREATER THAN his master, NOR IS A MESSENGER GREATER THAN the one who sent him.” (John 13:16 NIV)
Christ was sent by the Father (John 12:49 GNT). It is also written:
“All that my Father has IS MINE; that is why I said that THE SPIRIT will take what I GIVE HIM and TELL it to you.” (John 16:15 GNT)
The Spirit speaks and belongs to the Father and Son. The Holy Spirit was sent by Christ (John 7:39 GNT). The Holy Spirit is a minister of God hence Spirit of God (Heb 1:14). He is a servant and does what God commands. The Spirit is OF God not is God. Reread Hebrews 1 and 2.
So if anyone truly believes in what Christ said then, Christ is not greater than God as the Father sent him and the Spirit is not greater than Christ as he sent him. The foolishness of the “trinity” is disproved by the very words of Christ! Who is the author and finisher of faith? The Word of God or the inventions of men?
Similarly, Paul tells the congregation in Corinth for it is written:
“But I want you to understand that Christ is supreme over every man, the husband is supreme over his wife, and God IS SUPREME OVER Christ.” (1 Cor. 11:3 GNT)
“But when all things have been placed under Christ's rule, then he himself, the SON, WILL PLACE HIMSELF UNDER GOD, who placed all things under him; and God will rule completely over all.” (1 Cor. 15:28 GNT).
The apostle Paul further points out this fact for it is written:
“yet there is for us only ONE GOD, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only ONE LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7). How many beings listed? 2 not 3.
The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false trinity doctrine as well for it is written:
“We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know THE TRUE GOD. We live in union WITH THE TRUE GOD-in union with his SON Jesus Christ. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21 GNT). How many beings listed? 2 not 3.
All the supplied verses echo exactly what Christ said in John 17:3. So plain and simple. Are you that deceived that you don’t believe in the simplicity of what Christ said?
Where is the Holy Spirit included in those verses? Nowhere! Just like the word “trinity” is not found anywhere in the Bible. It simply doesn’t exist and Christ’s very words prove it. Who is the liar?
This biblical truth clearly declares without room for error or ambiguity that God, Christ and the Holy Spirit are NOT CO-EQUAL. The Father and the Son are both divine-both God Beings-but fulfill very different roles. And the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God/Angel of the Lord) is not part of the Godhead. Holy angels are ministering spirits. The very description of the holy angels is found in Hebrews for it is written:
"What are the ANGELS, then? They ARE SPIRITS who SERVE God and ARE SENT by Him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE SALVATION." (Hebrews 1:14)
There is our “helper”/Spirit OF God and the Spirit himself says he is not to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). Nowhere in the Bible does is say that the Holy Spirit is God, nowhere!
Christ tells us who the Godhead is in John 17:3 (2 not 3). If Christ is truly the author and finisher of our faith, why wouldn’t anyone believe what he actually said? In John 10:30 and 17:3, Christ's very words clearly disproves the false, pagan man-made doctrine of the trinity. Paul calls this false teaching belonging to a different Jesus, gospel and spirit (2 Cor. 11:4)
The question for all who read this is: Do you believe in what the Christ of the Bible said or not? For Christ simply stated:
“Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47 NIV). This is a very strong indictment by Christ for those who don't believe in what He said.
Believing in the pagan doctrine of the trinity is breaking the 1st Commandment.
Seriously, who is foolish enough to call Christ a liar?
“and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)
All praise, honor and glory be to God our Father and our Lord and Savior Yeshua of Nazareth! Amen

On its face the Trinity doctrine sits on the fence of polytheism, Modelism and Tri-theism while at its core it denies that Jesus Christ is truly the only begotten Son of the Living God, the only true God as Jesus stated in John 17:3-5.
To deny that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God is to deny both the Father and His Son as stated in 1 John 2:22-24.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
    1 John 2:22‭-‬24 KJV
One thing I always love to ask Trinitarian's is this:
In John 20:21-22 while Jesus Christ was in the upper room with His Disciples did Jesus breathe "another person" on the Disciples or did He breathe His OWN Holy Spirit on the Disciples? To say anything other than His OWN Holy Spirit is to deny that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father and thus deny Jesus Christ is divine by nature of being the Son of God.
Examine the Trinity doctrine Creed thoroughly and it is easy to reject it as Unbiblical.

    It is very simple.
We are created in the image of God. We are 3 parts of the whole.
    1) God the FATHER = our MINDS.
    2) Jesus Christ = the/OUR BODY
And 3) is the HOLY SPIRIT = OUR SOUL
WE do not exist without all 3 parts of the TRINITY just as GOD-THE HOLY TRINITY
    ANY QUESTIONS???

      Error
We are created in the image of God, God is a Spirit who has a soul and a body, these three forms(soul, spirit, flesh) equal one person
You’re created in the image of God you’re 1 person not three people

Science best explains it. God is the same as energy. Energy exists in different states but is always energy. Potential energy + kinetic energy = mechanical motion. So... Potential energy is Gods WILL outside of time and existence in a place we can never reach (god). Kinetic energy is God in motion interacting with the universe in time and the existence we live because this kinetic energy is inside every part of his living moving creation including our life essence (holy spirit). And the mechanical motion of god's will in our life is (jesus). Jesus was the ultimate move on god's part to make lasting action on our FREE will. Sure god can do everything but is unattainable and it's only our FREE WILL that enables us to reach him. How you say? Jesus - God made flesh. Without God made flesh as man there was no way we could have a personal relationship and comprehend God. Without Jesus God is distant and impossible to comprehend. As man god met us on our level and had impact that was tangible and far reaching creating a way we can reach god in the afterlife. Focus on a comprehendible God (Jesus) and he will shepherd you to the unattainable realm of God outside of existence as the holy spirit leaves you in your last days. Because rearrange the equation and you have:
    God =Jesus - holy spirit
So focus on Jesus as the holy spirit leaves you and you will reach God (God the father).
    Science!

God's WORD was God in the OT? Is that why Paul said that even though he existed in the form of God...?
And in the NT, God's word is known as the son of God when he was born from the Virgin Mary and became Jesus the Son of Man?
Do we believe that Jesus was the name of the WORD before he came into the world?

The father and Jesus have two different forms. They each have two different Bodies that love each other so much they come together as one. The Bible says Jesus sits on the right side of God therefore it's not one body. Jesus said you have to go through me to get to the father. The Bible had fo Many verses making it clear he is the son. WHO AND WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRT: By the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit spoke and said, “Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I am not God. I am the Spirit of God, a servant just like you. I am not a dove nor do I even remotely resemble a dove”.
Most people fail in reading and comprehension miserably to their own detriment. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Holy Spirit is a dove or even looks like a dove for that matter. The scriptures are clear, “descending LIKE a dove” not IS a dove or even looks like a dove. It is written that it was the Spirit of God that was seen. The verses describe HOW the Spirit descended not what it looked like. Read the all the gospel accounts again:
“When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He SAW THE SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.” (Matt. 3:16)
“And immediately, coming up [from the water, He SAW the heavens parting and the SPIRIT descending upon Him like a dove.” (Mark 1:10)
“And the HOLY SPIRIT descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.” (Luke 3:22)
“And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you SEE THE SPIRIT DESCENDING, AND REMAINING ON Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.” (John 1:32-33)
In Luke 3:22 does it say “in the bodily form of a dove”? Nope. Skewed reading and compression as well as graven images depicting the baptism of Christ with a dove over His head has deceptively engrained and ruined the image of the Holy Spirit for so many. The Spirit of God depicted as an animal? Paganism at its finest! Only a fallen angel (Satan) was depicted as an animal (a serpent) in scripture.
So what does the “bodily form” of the Spirit look like? Let’s read the scriptures on what happened on the Day of Pentecost when the believers received the Holy Spirit and see the actual description of what the Holy Spirit looked like. Let the Bible interpret itself for it is written:
“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty WIND and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then THERE APPEARED to them DIVIDED TOUNGES, AS OF FIRE, and ONE SAT UPON EACH OF THEM”. (Acts 2:2-3)
Now let’s look at the description of the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God) in the Book of Hebrews for it is written:
“But about the ANGELS God said, “God makes HIS ANGELS WINDS, and HIS SERVANTS FLAMES OF FIRE.” (Heb. 1:7)
Now go back to Acts for it is written:
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to SPEAK WITH OTHER TOUNGES, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” (Acts 2:4)
And Paul writes about the Holy Spirit for it is written:
“Though I speak with the tongues of men AND OF ANGELS,” (1 Cor. 13:1)
“For he who SPEAKS IN A TOUNGE DOES NOT SPEAK TO MEN, BUT TO GOD, FOR NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HIM; however, in the SPIRIT he speaks mysteries.” (1 Cor 14:2)
    Now go to the Book of Psalms for it is written;
“Who makes HIS ANGELS SPIRITS, HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE.” (Psalm 104:22)
And again, in Hebrews 1 for it is written:
“Are they not ALL MINISTERING SPIRITS SENT forth to MINISTER for THOSE WHO WILL INHERIT SALVATION? (Heb. 1:14)
In the GNT it is worded in this fashion for it is written:
“What are the ANGELS, then? They ARE SPIRITS WHO SERVE GOD and are SENT by him to HELP THOSE WHO ARE TO RECEIVE SALVATION.” (Heb. 1:14)
There is the Helper that Christ said He would send! The Holy Spirit! Spirit of God! Angel of the Lord! So plain yet the world is so blind to see it by believing in man-made myths instead of the true word of God.
Now that it has been established that the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, is an Angel of the Lord, what else does God say about the relationship between the angels and Christ for it is written:
“But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “LET ALL THE ANGELS of God WORSHIP HIM.” (Heb. 1:6)
Even the Holy Spirit knows he is not to be worshiped as he told John in Revelation not once, but twice (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9). Now if the Holy Spirit warned John not to worship him; are you any different? Absolutely not!
Throughout scripture Christ tells us who the Holy Spirit is over and over again but we will use just one example for it is written:
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the ANGELS IN HEAVEN, nor the SON, but only the FATHER.” (Mark 13:32). How simple and plain! Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Let’s go back to Genesis for it is written:
“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the SPIRIT OF GOD WAS HOVERING OVER the face of the waters.” (Gen. 1:1-2)
Now go to God’s description of the Spirit at the creation of the Earth in the Book of Job for it is written:
“as the MORNING STARS SANG TOGETHER and ALL the ANGELS shouted for joy? (Job 38:7 NLT)
Christ described the angels and Himself as “stars” in the Book of Revelation 1:20, 22:16
And all that Christ said is faithful and true for it is written:
“So the prophecy of Isaiah applies to them: ‘This people will listen and listen, but not understand; they will look and look, but not see,” (Matt. 13:14)
Remember that not all angels are Holy Spirits as some have fallen and are servants of Satan (evil spirits/demon spirits). Turn on your TV and you can see it for yourself. It’s a shame the world doesn’t believe or understand Ephesians 6:12. It is a war between demon spirits and holy spirits. We are merely pawns if we are not wearing the full amour of God and protected by God through the power of the Holy Spirit!
Sadly, there aren’t enough true believers to cast out all the demon/evil spirits, but Lord and I will continue to do it one false teaching video and false video support comment at a time. Sanctification begins by truly believing in what Christ said in both the Old and New Testament about the Kingdom and about Himself (John 17:17, Mark 13:31).
If anyone believes in the false, man-made pagan doctrine of the “Trinity”, they are worshiping a false god as they are claiming that angels are God and should be worshiped. This is breaking the 1st Commandment. The only way you can receive the Holy Spirit is to obey the word of God (Acts: 5:32) and if you willfully break His commandments, you have not seen Him or known Him (1 John 3:6)
If today you hear His voice, harden not your heart. If the Lord has reached out to you through me to rebuke you, it is because the Lord and I love you and don’t want you to be deceived anymore by lying spirits and false teachings. Believe what is written as your eternal life depends on it. If you are still blind after reading the truth presented in the word of God, there is nothing that can be done for you for it is written:
“But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” (Matt. 15:13)
For the love of God, stop being deceived brothers and sisters and unlearn the lies. Truly believe what is clearly written in the Book of Life. It’s a matter of life and death!
Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!
And remember this if nothing else:
“Keep on loving one another as Christians. Remember to welcome strangers in your homes. There were some who did that and welcomed angels without knowing it.” (Heb. 13:1-2)
Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!

    Don't be confused
    Deuteronomy 6 4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
    Jesus is Lord
    Father is God
Holy spirit is Lord they are One
So my Brother and father and little brother is One same person? No But they are Just One in entire world
We only have One God which is the Father and we only have One Lord which is Jesus and Holy Spirit
Did God gave birth? No because He is God? Jesus is with God since the Beginning of Creation because Jesus is God's "word " and throught Jesus everything is created
The only reason why Jesus called The son of God is because he was born by Mary and he wear the Human Body
Why God send Jesus why he need to die on the cross to forgive our sins? Because God is too Holy he Loves us so much But because of sins we are disconnected to him that's why we need to have a Holy mediator which is the Lord Jesus Christ and we are cleanse by the Blood of Jesus .
Before the only people who can communicate to God is the Prophets, But right now Because of Jesus we can directly ask God everything and his Forgiveness to Jesus Christ our Lord, so Mohammed is not the Last prophet because we already can talk to God without prophet because of Jesus Christ

I think when jesus say "Baptist them in the name of the Father and Son and Holy spirit ". He means three different deities .as Father is our only creator, Son and the Holy spirit is another deities who work together with the Father for a common doctrine common goal,ie for the betterment of us the Father's creation. All three work together.if not Then why did jesus always refers himself as Son, and he always prayed to the Father ,if he is the same then why would he had to like playing like a drama if he is the one praying to himself. 2nd if Father, Son and the Holy spirit are the same then why did Jesus say that if you speak ill of the Father and the Son you will be forgiven if we ask,but when speak ill of the Holy spirit you will never be forgiven for ever.why when he is in the Holy spirit form he behave differently he had other mindsets. This may be due to reason that they are not the same ,that make more sense right

There cannot be 3 deities (Gods). There are indeed 3 Divine Persons in the One God Nature; the Father who is fully God, the Son who is fully God, and the Holy Spirit who is fully God. God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) created the Universe to reflect aspects of His Divine Being (that is why St. Paul says even atheists can know God by reflecting upon Nature); and most especially in mankind who was made in the image of God. However the Universe, mankind, and the material nature of our reality can only give glimpses into God's being before the comparison can become thwarted because God Himself is infinitely beyond any description or explanation we can come up with. It is a mystery to which we can know some Truths about; positive things we can say about God; yet we cannot let our human thinking go beyond what is offered to distort and blaspheme what God has revealed.
Let the Church and the bible be your guide. There are 3 Persons Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who are the ONE God. When you find yourself saying things like: 'there are 3 Gods', or 'they share the Godhead 1/3 each', or 'Jesus is God but not equal to the Father' etc. then you know you are heading into heresy. The idea of God is foreign enough to material man; don't be surprised how God exists would be equally foreign to our own concepts of existence.

Trinity derive from the root word Tri means three and Unity means one. Trinity means three distinctive person of God but only one God alone. The devine name of God mention in Matthew 28:19 Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son Jesus Christ and of the Holy Spirit. In 1 John 5:7 King James version there are three bear record on heaven. The Father, the Word (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God. The proper noun big letter Word is the name of Jesus Christ before he became man. Revelation 19:13 Jesus name Word. John 10:30 Jesus said I and the Father are one God. In creation Genesis 1:26 and God said "Let us created man in our image." the speaker is God alone bur when speak it become plural God because of "let us," and "our" 1st person plural. In verse 27 and God created man in his own image God became singular one because of "his" 3rd person singular one. In Grammr this is called collective or compound noun meaning plural in form but singar in meaning. The urality of God the Father, The Jedus, and the Holy Spirit are only one God alone in meaning. God in Hebrew Elohim. Elohim means more than one but only one God alone. Lord in Hebrew Adonai. Lord means God. Psalm 100:3 The Lord is God. Psalm 110:1 The Lord(the Father) said to my Lord(Jesus Christ) sit at my right hand. Mark 16:19 after Lord Jesus spoken. He rose up on heaven and sat at the right hand of the Lord the Father. 1)the Father is God john 17:3 2)Jesus is God 1 John 5:20 Jesus is truly God, John 20:28Jesus is Lord and God, Titus 2:13 Jesus is great God and savior, 2 Timothy 1:1 Jesus is God and savior, Colossian 2:9Jesus is a fullness of being God, Colossian 1:15 Jesus is the image of invisible God, Roman 9:5 Jesus is God over all, Hebrew 1:8The God the Father called the Son Jesus is God, isaiah 9:6 the prophecy the baby Jesus born and his name calked mighty God. 3)The Holy Spirit is God john 4:24,Acts 5:3,4

Brethren, there is evidence that Jesus never spoke the 'triune' passage in Matt. 28:19, but rather "Go, and make disciples of all nations in My Name..." harmonizing more perfectly with the other Gospels and all references in the Epistles, but especially in the book of Acts! The Father, and the Holy Spirit, are One and the Self-Same Entity (Matt1:20, Luk 1:35). Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD! The 'trinity' is a lie.

God is 1. God’s word/words became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus’ form before his incarnation was literally as THE WORD OF GOD.
He was God’s own words and through him all things were made - all things were spoken into existence. Read John 1:1
The Holy Spirit is literally God’s Spirit proceeding from him. Just as you have a spirit and when you die you get into a disembodied spiritual state.
The whole trinitarian doctrine(3 individuals co-existing in eternity past) is a catholic doctrine made to confuse people.
I have now proven how the Godhead is true. Now, how is Jesus the Son of God? Simple, the Holy Spirit(God’s own Spirit) made Mary miraculously give birth to a child. Read Matthew 1:22-23
