65 years of being a Catholic. Baptized, received most of the sacraments. Went to Catholic schools thru high school. We rarely opened a Bible. I had no idea of scripture. Was always going to confession for fear the Priest wouldn't absolve my sins. Knew I was going to hell for committing mortal sins. Not going to Mass every Sunday. BORN AGAIN through the love of our lord Jesus Christ, November 4, 2020. I no longer honor the Pope. I honor Our Lord Jesus Christ.

A true witness delivereth souls but a deceitful witness speaketh lies . Proverbs 14 25 . grace and truth came by Jesus Christ . John 1 17 . I am crucified with Christ . Galatians 2 20 . Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death ? Romans 6 3 . Jesus said I and my Father are one . John 10 30 . If I wash thee not thou hast no part with me . John 13 8 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father and ye in me and I in you . John 14 20 . Jesus said John indeed baptized with water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost . Acts 11 16 on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost . Acts 10 45 washed us from our sins in his own blood . Revelation 1 5 . For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord . Romans 6 23 . For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God . Ephesians 2 8

I'm afraid, but I do have two assumptions about your comment.
First, you're just making fun of the confession in the Catholic church and therefore telling a false testimony which is a really horrible sin.
And second, the supposed guy you were dating with, didn't know any tad about his own faith. How sad is this frail generation.

Yeah, i know a protestant who got baptized and in the same year he is really addicted to porn drugs and alcohol, and tends to say that everyone on earth is a sinner (which is true), but it seems that he uses this as a reason to keep sinning without repentance. Even though i know his church doesn't have these kind of teachings and that there are a lot of good protestants who really pratice what they preach. RC Sproul believed in a future fulfillment of the Seventieth Week of Daniel. In fact, Jesus fulfilled perfectly and completely Daniel's Seventieth Week two thousand years ago. Sproul preached Counter-Reformation eschatology to his everlasting shame. Sproul was one of the greatest deceivers in our generation. And his false teachings are being repeated in all the churches today. There isn't a single one that preaches the truth about Daniel's Seventieth Week. Despite all his pretended condemnation of Roman Catholicism, he preached Rome's most secret weapon, the futurist fulfillment of Daniel's Seventieth Week. That teaching alone utterly destroyed Protestantism. There is no more Protestant church in the world today because of the likes of RC Sproul and his vast body of Evanjellybelly ilks. You do God a disservice by lauding RC Sproul or any of his Futurist Fakes!

Go buy a 1611 KJV. It has the books the Catholic church removed. It's called the apocrypha. It's the only true Holy Bible. The book all others are to be judged by.
The others are all edited for copyright reasons. They are fakes.
Only the 1611 is the book God promised to preserve in our language. It was translated from Aramaic and Greek. It was translated by over 40 Jews, Greeks, Latins and protestants who agreed upon every word.

I recommend you to do not be deceived by feelings, we have to learn how to separate feelings and faith.
I can feel the same by listening to some sort of romantic music, but this doesn't mean that i have to worship a mere song.
I know you'll not care because nobody asked, but when i see someone talking about my faith, i have to at least recommend some sources:
"Rome Sweet Rome" is a book wroten by a former protestant pastor (Scott Hahn) who became Catholic, not because of feelings, but because of pure understanding of the bible.
Not here to harass your faith, but to just recommend you to study about the Catholic faith from Catholic sources instead of protestant ones, as when studying about protestantism, study from protestants sources instead of Catholic ones, doing that i believe you can get a mature point of view about both Christian denominations.

@@AdeiltonChristian Friend, one has faith and intimacy with Christ or not. There are two types of people in this world. Those born again and those not.
All religion, all religious spirit is the spirit of death. It is contrary to the LORD and He Himself has said so.
      John 3:3
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born [a]again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
There are no priests, archbishops, cardinals or popes in Holy Bible. None. They are all by the selection of men.
The true ministers(apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers) of the Lord Jesus have been continually rejected and gotten rid of, century after century by the institutional 'churches' (catholic, orthodox, protestant) ..The religious and political have always gotten rid of and even slaughtered the children/servants of the LORD. Consider the prophets in Old Covenant, consider the apostles and disciples of Jesus Christ. Even Jesus Christ Himself, the Righteous One.
      Ephesians 4:7-13
      Spiritual Gifts
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore He says:
      “When He ascended on high,
      He led captivity captive,
      And gave gifts to men.”
9 (Now this, “He ascended”-what does it mean but that He also [a]first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
      11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the [b]edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
The time of these worldly institutional religious 'churches' is up. Catholic, orthodox, protestant et. al
There has always been a remnant that follow the Voice of the LORD , follow the Holy Spirit. These remnant will grow greatly in number from this point of time on and do the greater things that Jesus said His people will do. " Heal the sick, raise the dead" Normal Christianity
The true Church is the spiritual Body of the Lord Jesus who know Him personally and intimately.
      Ephesians 2:19-22
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

"There is no salvation apart from Christ and his One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church."
      Saint Augustine (died A.D. 430):
"No man can find salvation except in the Catholic Church. Outside the Catholic Church one can have everything except salvation. One can have honor, one can have the sacraments, one can sing alleluia, one can answer amen, one can have faith in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and preach it too, but never can one find salvation except in the Catholic Church." (Sermo ad Caesariensis Ecclesia plebem)
Saint Cyprian (died A.D. 258): "He who has turned his back on the Church of Christ shall not come to the rewards of Christ; he is an alien, a worldling, an enemy. You cannot have God for your Father if you have not the Church for your mother. Our Lord warns us when He says: `he that is not with Me is against Me, and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth.' Whosoever breaks the peace and harmony of Christ acts against Christ; whoever gathers elsewhere than in the Church scatters the Church of Christ." (Unity of the Catholic Church)
"He who does not hold this unity, does not hold the law of God, does not hold the faith of the Father and the Son, does not hold life and salvation." (Patrologiae Cursus Completus: Latina, Father Migne)
Lactantius (died A.D. 310): "It is the Catholic Church alone which retains true worship. This is the fountain of truth, this is the abode of the Faith, this is the temple of God; into which if anyone shall not enter, or from which if anyone shall go out, he is a stranger to the hope of life and eternal salvation." Ma’am, confess to God alone? What about John 20:21-23: Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” He said this to his PRIESTS. Read the early church fathers. They are abundantly catholic! The Catholic Church has stood the test of time. Meanwhile, over 45,000 Christian denominations have popped up since the Reformation. This man is spitting either lies or he’s simply ignorant of the truth of Vatican 2. Anyone who listens to this man completely is putting their faith in him, when all you have to do is do a google search to research the truth yourself.
How can you reconcile this? The priest is acting in the person of Jesus Christ when HE absolves you of your sin.

Nor do I want to speak bad things about my mother.however, we were put into a catholic convent known as “The Sacred Heart “ we were the “forgotten ones” suffered the abuse, emotionally, sexually and physically at the hands of nuns and lay people. I ended up in a coma? The only thing I ever took away from there was “FEAR” for most of my senior years, I got little sleep most of my life. But Jesus rescued me at the age of 54. I’m very thankful I have no memory of those nine years; i learned or couldn’t remember what I may have been thought? So, I came to Jesus Christ, by the leading of The Holy Spirit. Thank You so much for this teaching. When I received the Good News, that Jesus Loved Me ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️This was the first time I heard about the word LOVE. I was on fire for Jesus🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥with the help of The Holy Spirit who continues to be my teacher and opens up the scriptures to me -its absolutely wonderful to have such confidence He will bring all scriptures to my remembrance; si I would memorized many scriptures over the years, now at the age of 77, Im still enjoying the treasure He will continue to share with me. I buried my nose in God’s Word for hours daily, I need to know the truth. I AM Free🙏🙏🙏Thank You Jesus, for praying to the Father, for sending The Holy Spirit to come to dwell in me. The Holy Spirit became my best friend in this world. I’ve seen miracles, healings often. I love Jesus so much, He rescued me, I instantly experienced His wonderful peace, He filled that emptiness in my heart that was lacking, no matter how much I spend, vacation etc; yes I felt peace during those moments, but back to reality and that peace was temporary. But as I stay in my relationship with Jesus and The Holy Spirit, I can stay in His perfect peace.
I’m so thankful for your teaching, such perfect timing to reach not only my family, but other wonderful ladies Who are so kind. I need the Holy Spirit to lead me here!
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and all your family Brother🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️

Galatians 4:6 tells you who the Holy Spirit is. There is no third entity. Just the Father and the Son. Don’t believe me though. Study it out and pray on it. Have a blessed Sabbath. Sabbath is one of the marks/signs/seals of God’s authority over us. It shows who we serve and belong to. The Bible tells us in several places how to get this mark/sign/seal. ☺️

Thy way, O God, is in thy sanctuary, who is so great a God as our God?
      {Psalm77:13}
...as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith God, that thou make all things according to *the pattern* shewed to thee in the mount.
      {Hebrews 8:5}
The *sanctuary* [tabernacle] was a pattern of types and shadows of the heavenly temple, and Jesus Christ is the substance of those types and shadows.
Jesus Christ is the door to the sanctuary; He is the door to the Kingdom of heaven.
He is the inner court surrounded by white linen; which is symbolic of being covered Christ prefect righteousness.
He is our passover sacrificed for us on burnt alter for sacrifice.
He is the laver for washing; symbolic of the rebirth, being born again of the Spirit.
He is the table of Showbread; the two stacks of loves of bread are symbolic of the word of God (the bread of life) in two testaments / witnesses, also the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Apostles.
He is the Lampstand; the oil being symbolic of his Spirit; the Lampstand symbolic of his light unto the world.
He is our Altar of incense; making intercession for his saints.
He is our Mercy seat covering the Ark of the covenant; Jesus is both our advocate standing for his saints with the Father and He is our judge in judment.
Jesus Christ caused the sacrifices and their oblations to cease, (Dan 9:27) by his one perfect sacrifice.
In contrast to the time of the Gentiles, wherefore the sanctuary of God is trodden under foot for forty and two months.
      How so?
This church who calls herself the mother church, claims to be *the door* to salvation.
And the white linen surrounding the inner court is the righteousness of Mary and the saints of the Roman church.
She claims that Christ sacrifice and Atonement for sin was not sufficient, for she instituted seven (works) sacraments.
She through infant baptism makes a mockery of the rebirth of the new man.
Her Catechism thinks to replace the inspired word of God.
Her prayers to dead saints and to Mary, thinks to replace Christ work of intercession at the altar of incense.
Hers is a false spirit which thinks to cover the light of truth.
This beast and her king think to change times and laws of God.
      And goeth into perdition.

      {Luke 17:9-10}
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
So speak ye, and so do, *as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty*
      {James 2:11-12}

Seeing Jesus dying on the cross is a very clear sign of Jesus' love for us. He loved us so much he was willing to DIE for us. It makes me think to myself "Do I love God and my fellow man enough to die for them?"
Paul wrote, "For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles." (1 Cor 1: 22-23). Why don't other churches preach the way that Paul did?
For Christians a crucifix should not be considered merely as a statue of Jesus hanging on a cross, but as a reminder of the high cost of our salvation as well as His words to us:
"If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

Me too! Raised as a fundamental Christian. Really studying early church history and the TRUTH of the Catholic Church led me to my conversion. This anti Catholic “sermon” is built on false heretical doctrine! Scripture alone is never mentioned in the Bible. Also, what Church determined what scrolls where to be canonized? The Catholic Church. Who determines how to interpret Scripture Alone? Over 30,000 plus protestant denominations. Each one interpreting a little bit differently their own doctrine.

You must study how did those who were more closer to Jesus before the resurrection did worship him, in order to do not do the opposite as the scriptures says:
      2 Peter 1:20
"knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation."
I recommend you to read "Rome Sweet Home" by Scott Hanh, whose was a protestant pastor that converted to Catholicism.

_John 14:24 _*_He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings:_*_ and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me._

_John 14:26 _*_But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,_*_ whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, _*_and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you._*
The things Jesus spoken being yet present with his disciples, are brought to remembrance by the Holy Spirit.
The words Jesus spoke unto his disciples “being yet present” with them are recorded within the Gospels; *Matthew, Mark, John* are eye witnesses of the Messsiah. And even Luke has very good record of Jesus' teachings even though Luke was not an eye witness.'

If the Catholic Church is accused of being satanic, that is no more than its Founder, Jesus Christ, was accused of. When our Lord was on earth, he had the same problem. He was driving demons out, and some said he was doing this by the power of the devil. How did Jesus respond? He said, “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. And if Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand; that is the end of him” (Mk 3:23-26).
The Catholic Church drives out the devil, too. This practice is called exorcism. No one can deny that the Catholic Church has been doing exorcisms on people and driving out Satan for nearly two millennia. Therefore, we must reason like Jesus: If the Catholic Church were from the devil, it could not drive the devil out.
We shouldn’t be surprised when such charges are made against the Catholic Church. Jesus told us, “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master; it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household” (Mt 10:24-25).
It is impious to say, I respect every religion. This is as much as to say,I respect the devil as much as God,vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty.Hell as much as Heaven. Fr Michael Muller.C.Ss.R(1825-1899)
There can be only one true religion, because a thing cannot be false and true at the same time, and, therefore, all religions that contradict the teaching of the true Church must teach falsehood. If all religious in which men seek God are equally good and true, why did Christ disturb the Jewish religion and the Apostles condemn heretics? Orthodox/Catholic Lord's Supper have recieved the flesh and blood of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Holy Mass for 2,000yrs but protestants have not for 500yrs. Please read some teachings of early Church fathers on the Eucharist
      ST. IGNATIUS OF ANTIOCH
“the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, the flesh which suffered for our sins and which the Father, in His graciousness, raised from the dead." ("Letter to the Smyrnaeans", paragraph 6. circa 80-110 A.D.)
"I have no taste for the food that perishes nor for the pleasures of this life. I want the Bread of God which is the Flesh of Christ, who was the seed of David; and for drink I desire His Blood which is love that cannot be destroyed." ("Letter to the Romans", paragraph 7, circa 80-110 A.D.)
"Take care, then who belong to God and to Jesus Christ - they are with the bishop. And those who repent and come to the unity of the Church - they too shall be of God, and will be living according to Jesus Christ. Do not err, my brethren: if anyone follow a schismatic, he will not inherit the Kingdom of God. If any man walk about with strange doctrine, he cannot lie down with the passion. Take care, then, to use one Eucharist, so that whatever you do, you do according to God: for there is one Flesh of our Lord Jesus Christ, and one cup in the union of His Blood; one altar, as there is one bishop with the presbytery and my fellow servants, the deacons." (Epistle to the Philadelphians, 3:2-4:1, 110 A.D.)
      ST. JUSTIN MARTYR
"This food we call the Eucharist, of which no one is allowed to partake except one who believes that the things we teach are true, and has received the washing for forgiveness of sins and for rebirth, and who lives as Christ handed down to us. For we do not receive these things as common bread or common drink; but as Jesus Christ our Savior being incarnate by God's Word took flesh and blood for our salvation, so also we have been taught that the food consecrated by the Word of prayer which comes from him, from which our flesh and blood are nourished by transformation, is the flesh and blood of that incarnate Jesus." ("First Apology", Ch. 66, inter A.D. 148-155)
      ST. CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA
"The Word is everything to a child: both Father and Mother, both Instructor and Nurse. 'Eat My Flesh,' He says, 'and drink My Blood.' The Lord supplies us with these intimate nutrients. He delivers over His Flesh, and pours out His Blood; and nothing is lacking for the growth of His children. O incredible mystery!" ("The Instructor of the Children" [1,6,41,3] ante 202 A.D)
      ST. CYRIL OF JERUSALEM
Since then He Himself has declared and said of the Bread, (This is My Body), who shall dare to doubt any longer? And since He has affirmed and said, (This is My Blood), who shall ever hesitate, saying, that it is not His blood?” ("Catechetical Lectures [22 (Mystagogic 4), 1] c. 350 A.D)
      ST. HILARY OF POITERS
"When we speak of the reality of Christ's nature being in us, we would be speaking foolishly and impiously - had we not learned it from Him. For He Himself says: 'My Flesh is truly Food, and My Blood is truly Drink. He that eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood will remain in Me and I in him.' As to the reality of His Flesh and Blood, there is no room left for doubt, because now, both by the declaration of the Lord Himself and by our own faith, it is truly the Flesh and it is truly Blood. And These Elements bring it about, when taken and consumed, that we are in Christ and Christ is in us. Is this not true? Let those who deny that Jesus Christ is true God be free to find these things untrue. But He Himself is in us through the flesh and we are in Him, while that which we are with Him is in God." ("The Trinity" [8,14] inter 356-359 A.D.)
      ST. GREGORY OF NYSSA
"The bread is at first common bread; but when the mystery sanctifies it, it is called and actually becomes the Body of Christ."("Orations and Sermons" [Jaeger Vol 9, pp. 225-226] ca. 383 A.D.)
      ST. AUGUSTINE OF HIPPO
"You ought to know what you have received, what you are going to receive, and what you ought to receive daily. That Bread which you see on the altar, having been sanctified by the word of God, is the Body of Christ. The chalice, or rather, what is in that chalice, having been sanctified by the word of God, is the Blood of Christ." ("Sermons", [227, 21] circa 400A.D.)
      MARCARIUS THE MAGNESIAN
"[Christ] took the bread and the cup, each in a similar fashion, and said: 'This is My Body and this is My Blood.' Not a figure of His body nor a figure of His blood, as some persons of petrified mind are wont to rhapsodize, but in truth the Body and the Blood of Christ, seeing that His body is from the earth, and the bread and wine are likewise from the earth." ("Apocriticus" [3,23] ca. 400 A.D.)
      ST. LEO I, THE GREAT
"When the Lord says: 'Unless you shall have eaten the flesh of the Son of Man and shall have drunk His blood, you shall not have life in you,' you ought to so communicate at the Sacred Table that you have no doubt whatever of the truth of the Body and the Blood of Christ. ("Sermons" [91,3] ante 461 A.D.)

----"James 2:20- "But wilt thou know O' vain man, that faith without works is dead"-----
Right, but if "faith without works" is dead, that means A FAITH WITHOUT WORKS, EXISTS!
      2 things to remember:
•James is the oldest book in the NT, written before Paul ever put ink to paper
      • It was written to the 12 tribes of Israel scattered abroad.
James 2:1- " My brethren have not, faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of Glory, WITH RESPECT OF PERSONS.
--"What does it PROFIT, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?
'If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it PROFIT? '--
Does lack of works mean that you lose your salvation? NO. It just means that your faith will not PROFIT anyone else. It's all talk unless you have the works to back it up. Not talking about getting into heaven, it's talking about my relationship with my fellow man. We are to prove ourselves saved in the sight of man, NOT GOD!
Galatians 3 :11- But that no man is justified BY THE LAW in the SIGHT OF GOD, it is evident: for, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.
Man can only see my works not my FAITH. So, in the SIGHT OF MAN we're justified by WORKS. (James 2:18)
Abraham did the offering of Isaac at 130 years old. Did he just get saved at 130? NO, he showed his FAITH to the world BY HIS WORKS.

So what was your family's excuse and yours for not reading Scripture
The Church forcefully and specifically exhorts all the Christian faithful . . . to learn the surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ, by frequent reading of the divine Scriptures. Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ. Catechism Of the Catholic Church
Pope St. Gregory I (died 604 AD) “The Emperor of heaven, the Lord of men and of angels, has sent you His epistles for your life’s advantage-and yet you neglect to read them eagerly. Study them, I beg you, and meditate daily on the words of your Creator. Learn the heart of God in the words of God, that you may sigh more eagerly for things eternal, that your soul may be kindled with greater longings for heavenly joys.”
Pope Clement XI (1700 - 1720) To forbid Christians to read Sacred Scripture, especially the Gospels, is to forbid the use of light to the sons of light, and to cause them to suffer a kind of excommunication.
Pope Pius VI (April 1st 1778 AD) “the faithful should be excited to the reading of the Holy Scriptures: for these are the most abundant sources which ought to be left open to every one, to draw from them purity of morals and of doctrine”
Pope Pius VII (1800 - 1823) "encourage their people to read the Holy Scriptures ; for nothing can be more useful, more consoling, and more animating, because they serve to confirm the faith, to support the hope, and to influence the charity of the true Christian."
Pope Leo XIII (1893) “The solicitude of the apostolic office naturally urges and even compels us…to desire that this grand source of Catholic revelation (the Bible) should be made safely and abundantly accessible to the flock of Jesus Christ”
Pope Pius X (1903 - 1914) “Nothing would please us more than to see our beloved children form the habit of reading the Gospels - not merely from time to time, but every day.”
Pope Benedict XV (1914 - 1922) “Our one desire for all the Church’s children is that, being saturated with the Bible, they may arrive at the all-surpassing knowledge of Jesus Christ”
Pope Pius XII (1943) “... This author of salvation, Christ, will men more fully know, more ardently love and more faithfully imitate in proportion as they are more assiduously urged to know and meditate the Sacred Letters, especially the New Testament ...”
Pope John Paul II (1979) “catechesis must be impregnated and penetrated by the thought, the spirit and the outlook of the Bible and the Gospels through assiduous contact with the texts themselves”
Pope Benedict XVI (2006) “I urge you to become familiar with the Bible, and to have it at hand so that it can be your compass pointing out the road to follow. By reading it, you will learn to know Christ.”
Pope Francis (2015) “The Bible is not meant to be placed on a shelf, but to be in your hands, to read often - every day, both on your own and together with others”
Gee, good thing you don’t like condescending emails, right? Anyway, I am not rebuking God’s Word, I am rebuking man’s word and, in particular, I am rebuking your word. Your fallible, man-made, non-authoritative, biased and bigoted word.
You speak of the “laughable infallible teachings of the [M]agisterium,” yet you tend to also speak as if you yourself are infallible. Do you believe your private interpretations of Scripture to indeed be infallible? And, if not, will you then admit that your private, fallible interpretations of Scripture, in regard to Purgatory and other such Catholic teachings, could be wrong? You won’t admit that, though, will you? You know why? Pride, Freddy boy...pride. You are too proud to admit that you could be wrong. That your interpretations are indeed fallible and, therefore, prone to error.
He is one of these former Catholics who knows "everything" there is to know about the Catholic Church and its teachings and who feels a special call to save Catholics from the darkness of Romanism that he was, at long last, able to escape from.
I take it that during this time as a Christian you have not sinned even 1 time correct? Naturally due to rising to such a high spiritual level of perfection, your thoughts are totally pure and the passions cease to exist due to your total sanctification and totally pure heart. I must hand it to you, it’s one thing for a Monk to leave the world and live in constant unceasing prayer on the Holy Mountain of Mt. Anthos, but to live in the world like you do and still be able to reach such a high spiritual state of perfection that the Great Saints could never achieve deserves of crown of diamonds

The Old Testament prophecy "the woman who will crush the head of the serpent"
Catholics do not worship or pray to Mary.
We honour her as the Mother of our Saviour. If Mary did not say "yes" to God, there would be no Christianity. Mary is the first Christian and example of what holiness and devotion to Christ looks like.
      Mary is our spiritual mother.
Jesus said to his beloved disciple John from the cross, "Behold your mother"
Catholics pray to God and worship only God.
But we believe in Christian community "communion of Saints", we believe that we are all called to become like Christ and we need to pray for each other on our way to holiness. Jesus called us to pray together "when one or two are gathered in my name, I am there"
Those who have died are alive, they are part of the Christian community but they are purified and in the presence of God, their prayers are powerful. We ask angels to protect us, we ask Mary, all the Saints, our families and friends to pray for us. Some people come to Faith through Science. Nature and animal lovers feel special affinity to St.Francis who could communicate with living creatures. Those who lost their mothers or were abused by men, may need maternal love of the Holy Mother to help them trust in tender, unconditional love of God, the Father.
There are many forms of spirituality and many different spiritual journeys but only one God.
To be a good Catholic you do not have to have a special devotion to Mary but you need to follow Christ and honour Christ in every person, especially in His Mother. We need to honour Christ in ourselves, our body and soul is the Temple of the Holy Spirit.

"In the Catholic Church, there are many other things which most justly keep me in her bosom. The consent of peoples and nations keeps me in the Church; so does her authority, inaugurated by miracles, nourished by hope, enlarged by love, established by age. The succession of priests keeps me, beginning from the very seat of the Apostle Peter, to whom the Lord, after His resurrection, gave it in charge to feed His sheep (Jn 21:15-19), down to the present episcopate."
      - St. Augustine
"See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church. -Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8

Some institutional sins were committed, for example transferring abusive priests to other parishes. This has been corrected and there are new rules for clergy and volunteers in the Church to protect the voulnerable . People become abusers for very complex reasons: intellectual or spiritual ignorance, being overwhelmed and having no support, being themselves abused, falling into powerful sinful inclinations, developing serious neurological or mental illness. I hope you can forgive Catholic Church for not protecting you and forgive those that have harmed you. Forgiveness does not mean that you wipe their sins and forget about what happened but it will free you to hopefully live in peace!

Conviction sure plays a big part because the Holy Spirit works that way, but feelings can surely be deceiving. Religions, for religion's sake, are more interested in keeping traditions than honoring God and His Word. So, feeling the Holy Spirit by walking into a building could be as deceitful as feeling joy under the teachings of the RCC. As sinners, we tend to satisfy our own desires and not God's desires for us, so we need to be very careful how we let our feelings control our minds. The only truth comes from God and His Word.

Funny how Mike G does not mention this. The Head of the Catholic Church is Christ. His representative on earth is the Bishop of Rome. The first of which, Peter, Christ gave the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 16:19) and asked him to feed His sheep (John 21). Again, Mike G does not mention this. As a Catholic, I'm here to adress the false-claims and fallacies made by the speaker:
    1. First of all, he establishes the Catholic Church as evil/bad/apostate without any development, just to make a frame good for his case.
    2. He claims catholics are departed from the faith of apostles, but again, no analysis
    3. He claims the first 600 years the scripture was boldly proclaimed, but the Synod of Hippo approved the bible in 393 - before that, there was tradition and some gospels/letters people could find
    4. He claims Scripture was hidden from the people. Source? What is your case? Thats just plain false information.
    5. He claims reformers restored scripture in vernacular language, but people were mostly analphabet at this point.
    6. He claims catholics have ungodly traditions which nulify the Gospel. Which traditions? How they nulify the Gospel?
    7. The timeline is just mocking catholicism without any analysis of profound theological dogmas we can track back to the fathers of the church and apostles
    8. The Pope is not the Head, Jesus is. You claim catholics switch Jesus with the Pope, and that fallacy
    9. Romans 8: why is your protestant interpretation the right one? What is your authority to proclaim the right reading of that passage?
Seriously, this speaker wouldn't stand a chance against any priest.

It says they pray I already know that. Where in scripture does it say Mary is sinless? I already know the answers. It never says the saints hear us, it says they pray for us. Do I need to hear someone praying to pray for them? Paul says "All have sinned". I have been told that all means everyone except Mary, but there is no scripture to back that up. Hey, brother in Chrtist! (1) First, the problem here is you are forcing the doctrine of Sola Scriptura for the Catholics. We do not agree with it at all, since it was invented by protestantism (no christian in history ever believen in that until Luther), so it is not very honest to ask that for us. What we sustain is the Tradition passed since the apostles, which is never in contradiction with scripture. We believe in Scripture, we just don't believe it is sola ;) (...) @@Halcyon1861

All living christian, members of the Church, can hear and pray for each other; b. Whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life; Conclusion: Saints are alive and can still participate in the Church.
With a bonus: they are witnessing the Light, the Grace, the Glory. So, through Christ, they have more actions available - since they are not limited by the flesh. Thats why they can "hear" us, although thats not a physical hearing nor a dialogue with a dead body, like spiritism

      (3) and about Mary, again, we have centuries of veneration, which can be tracked as far as the 2nd century. We rely in that tradition, which also interpreted many passages as proof of sinless nature os Mary. But I guess you could try to win against Aquinas, you would be a true debating hero. Or, an easier task, prove that someone who is full of grace (the meaning of "χαριτόω", who is soften by many protestant bibles as merely "favoured"), greeted by an angel, who would be called blessed by every generation. The list goes on, and you can find many prefigurations of Mary in the Old Testament too. Even Luther recognized her as worthy of veneration. But again, you will not find an explicit indication of the Immaculate Conception in the bible because not everything is the Bible (thats considered heretic and dont have any historical reports before the Reformation). @@Halcyon1861

      (3) lastly, even if we disconsider all the Tradition of the Apostles and the Magisterium, if we go to Romans 23, the word "πᾶς" (pâs, all) used is ALSO used in "all followed Christ" in Matthew 2:3 (μετά αὐτός, πᾶς Ἱεροσόλυμα). So the greek term "πᾶς" (pâs) is used for "all, many, most, anybody" and so on. You can't just pick your own interpretation of modern english and call it. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
The apostles didn't need the gospels in book form, they WITNESSED the gospel before their eyes and wrote about it. Their faith grew because they heard Jesus and what He spoke. They then wrote about it, and their faith would have grown more the more they read it and meditated on it. That's how we grow our faith today, by reading the word of God.

As a former Catholic I am amazed and I’m rejoicing about my Catholic friends awakening to truth. Praise the Lord! I beg you to THINK! If the foundation of all Catholic teaching is the trinity then how can that teaching be correct?
The trinity is the pagan 3 in 1 sun god (morning, noon and evening sun) that was accommodated into Christian doctrine. Who is the God of the Bible?
1 Corinthians 8:6 yet for us there is one God, the FATHER, OF whom are ALL things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
The one true God of the Bible, the Father, is the source OF ALL.
Christ is the Son OF God. Christ, the natural, literal Son of God is fully divine.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit OF God and is His very presence (Psalm 139:6-7)
See also John 17:3, there are a total of 105 verses that declare the same.
You’ll NEVER find the following words or phrases in the Bible:
      Trinity
      God the Son
      God the Spirit
More than that… What day did the pagans worship the sun? Sunday!!
What day did Jesus keep holy? The Sabbath. Was Jesus wrong? No. Who changed the day of worship? The papacy, they even admit it.
FYI… I once believed and taught the trinity because I never knew or even heard of anything else. I am ready, willing and able to study this out (not argue) with anybody who’s interested in any way we can… via zoom, phone, written correspondence or face to face if you’re in SE Michigan. Upon your request I’ll give you my contact info. Please accept my invitation.

If I weren't Catholic, I'd look for the Church that the world despises, for the world despised Jesus, and he would be there. - Fulton Sheen
Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me.". Things seemed to be going pretty well. That is until Jesus said “For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.” This was too much for many of his disciples and “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.” Jesus turns to the 12 and asks, “Will ye also go away? Vs 61, Jesus did not back down, for He said, "Does this offend you?" it offends protestants. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Jn 20:21, "As the Father has sent Me, I also send you."
Jn 17:18, "Even as thou hast sent Me into the world, so I have sent them into the world."
Jn 17:22-23, "And the glory that thou hast given Me, I have given to
Matt. 28, 18-20: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye, therefore. and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Jesus says to the crowd, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved." But in reference to the same people, Jesus immediately follows with "He who does not believe will be condemned." This demonstrates that one can be baptized and still not be a believer. This disproves the Protestant argument that one must be a believer to be baptized. There is nothing in the Bible about a "believer's baptism."
"Accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior," or "Ask Jesus into your heart" isn't the biblical answer.
It’s important to be saved from hell, damnation, and the stain of original sin, but what are we saved for? We are saved for union with Christ. Our salvation began when we were born again through baptism and God’s own Divine Life was restored in our souls, making us like Adam and Eve were in the Garden before the Original (first) Sin. As we go through life, we are united with Christ through the Sacraments he left as gifts for us, especially through Penance (forgiveness of our sins committed since Baptism) and the Eucharist (partaking of God’s own Life, His own Divine Nature, 2 Peter 1:4) - until that day when we are truly united with Him in heaven.
Scripture teaches that one’s final salvation depends on the state of the soul at death. As Jesus himself tells us, "He who endures to the end will be saved" (Matt. 24:13; cf. 25:31-46). One who dies in the state of friendship with God (the state of grace) will go to heaven. The one who dies in a state of rebellion against God (the state of mortal sin) will go to hell. (For the teaching on venial (non-deadly) and mortal (deadly) sins, see 1 John 5:16-17)
What I must do to be saved:
*I must be baptized with water and the Spirit. Mark 16:16, John 3:3-5, Titus 3:5, I Peter 3:20-21. (Exceptions: [1] If I desire Baptism but die before I can be baptized with water and the Spirit, God accepts my desire to be baptized, and [2] If I am killed (martyred) because of my faith, but I have not had the opportunity to be baptized, God accepts my death as my baptism, called the Baptism of Blood).
      * I must do the will of God the Father. Matthew 7:21
      * I must keep the Commandments of God. Matthew 5:19-20, Matthew 7:21, Matthew 19:17, 1 Timothy 6:14, and others.
      * I must accept the Cross (suffering). Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24-25, Mark 8:34, Luke 9:23, Luke 14:27. Phil 1:29, and others.
      * I must be a member of God's true church. Acts 2:46-47.
      * I must confess my sins. James 5:16, I John 1:9, John 20:19-23
      * I must heed the words of St. Peter, the first Pope. Acts 11:13-14, Acts 15:7.
      * I must eat the flesh and drink the blood of Jesus Christ. John 6:51-58, I Corinthians 10:16-17, 11:23-30
      * I must do unto others as I would have them do unto me and love my neighbor as myself. I must feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison or give other aid to those in need. Luke 10:33 ff, Mt 25:31-46. "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are very pleasing to God" Hebrews 13:16. Good works don’t save us, but we will be judged by them.
*I must strive to be holy. "Strive for peace with everyone and for that holiness without which no one will see the Lord." Hebrews 12:14
*I must endure (persevere) to the end. Matthew 10:22, Matthew 24:13, Mark 13:13.

Honestly, even though the leader of the protestant sect removed 7 books from the Holy Bible. There is still a lot of proofs about the purgatory in the bible, which is defended for thousand years by philosopers and doctors.
"47 That servant who knows his master’s will but does not get ready or follow his instructions will be beaten with many blows.
48But the one who unknowingly does things worthy of punishment will be beaten with few blows.
From everyone who has been given much, much will be required;"
Jesus clearly teaches about the Purgatory throught this parable over here, however, you guys keep sticking with your own interpretation.
But in the Holy Bible it says:
      2 Peter 1:20
"knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation."
You just need to stop closing your eyes to the Catholic interpretation, like i did. (Former protestant here)

There is so much deception and confusing that you need to do your homework with prayers and discernment to see the whole truth of the Catholic Church.
Be aware it was Martin Luther who removed 7 books from the bible 1500 years after Jesus death. Luther’s mistakes are obvious. The reformer’s intention wasn’t to get at the truth of the Scriptures but rather to edit out the “messy parts” that contradicted his new vision of Christianity.

I happened on this preaching today by the power of the Holy Spirit of God.
I am born again and follow the Lord Jesus Christ every hour, every minute of my life but I was raised a Roman Catholic and attended a convent boarding school during my most formative years. I was fortunate that I did learn about Jesus there, but it's a different thing to know him as a friend and saviour.
Today, I am an old lady with a story to tell and I am writing it. Writing it came about as an instinctive need, therapy, I suppose.
My life has become so positive now and despite the ailments of old age, I am aware that I bubble over whenever I talk about Jesus and whenever I share Christian fellowship and I notice that I talk about Jesus whenever I get the chance.
I have dear Roman catholic friends of course and I love the way you open your talk by explaining that we love our Catholic friends. I have been searching for so long for how to convince a very dear friend of the truth. When I listened and watched the clear graphics of this talk, it made me feel so encouraged to try again, to keep going with a gentle approach to someone who is adamant that I have 'gone wrong.'
Thank you for your calm, truthful words. Amen.

Does your Catholic friend actually love Jesus and reverence God? Many Catholics have an admirable walk w/ God. It's a different vehicle, and I do believe there is false doctrine. I've given up on condemning Catholics. There are weaknesses in protestant faith too. The bible above all exhorts us to love one another and to find a unity in the faith as followers of Christ.

The last supper. Described by all four canonical gospels and Paul. “do this in remembrance of me”. That , my friend, is the first mass. That is a direct instruction from Jesus himself. There is no refuting that.
Secondly, if “This is finished” means anyone can do whatever they want, whether moral or immoral, and automatically end up in Jesus‘s kingdom, imagine what the world would be like. It’s not a free ride.

May the Holy Spirit give you the words. Some people need it gently, and others need a giant truth bomb that gets them so angry they set about proving you wrong only to find out you are right. Showing them that the Bible says Jesus Christ is the only intercessor. Roman paganism had all the different deities the ones you would go to for this or for that, so patron saints are pagan. The “Queen of Heaven“ is an abomination to God. That’s in the old testament. That’s a pagan goddess. Jesus Christ has siblings, you can read about them in the four gospels. Mary can’t be a perpetual virgin if he has siblings, and he does. Mary is not to be “revered”. Respected as a servant of God just like Moses and Abraham and others, sure, but she’s not to be given more than that.
The truth. All you have to do is read the Bible to them, the parts where what Catholicism does is an abomination to God. Then you can get to the things that Jesus actually told us to do that Catholicism has stripped away. Many blessings and authority to every believer that Catholicism has stolen from its people. They have been robbed. How many people have begged for an exorcism, when any believer has the authority to cast out demons? Much to be learned if they only read the Bible with open eyes.

Catholics cannot even interpret Matt 16:18 according to the apostles inspired interpretation of those prophecies found in Psalm 118:22, Isaiah 8:14-15, & Isaiah 28:16 which say Christ is the foundation, not Peter as the rock on which the church is built on first.
Paul and Peter interpreted these prophecies in Acts 4:11-12, Romans 9:33, 1 Peter 2:4-8, 1 Corinthians 3:11 & Ephesians 2:20. Repent. This life is short. Heaven and Hell are eternal.
Lumen Gentium is one of the principal documents of the Second Vatican Council. Below is an excerpt from Lumen Gentium.
“This Sacred Council wishes to turn its attention firstly to the Catholic faithful. Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church. Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved.”

Has it occurred to no one that the Catholic Church, for 1500 years, carried a mis-conceived idea of what Christ intended, and then Martin Luther and others decided that they could look through that 1500 year old Catholic lens of Christianity and know Christ’s true teachings? Isn’t that a lot like looking back through history and deciding that, yes, southern succession was the true path for the US? I am no Catholic purist. I know the Church has had faults down through history and also that it continues to examine itself. As far as tradition, I feel it is very much a part of understanding the faith. “It is easier for a camel to go through a needles eye” sounds like,’no way a rich man can get to heaven’, right? Until you realize the ancient tradition of camels coming into a city via camel gates - the keyhole-shaped gate that would allow a camel, fully loaded, to enter the city - through that “needles eye”. No where in scripture does it explain ‘eye of the needle’. It is simply traditional knowledge that is lost on contemporary westerners unfamiliar with camels, caravans and the way they traditionally entered a city - a very tight, but not impossible, passage. Tradition enriches my faith and the Church has eased off a bit of late. Why? I used to eat fish on Fridays but Vatican II eased that requirement. Sacrifice is good but requiring that sort of sacrifice may not add to the faith as was once accepted. Now, l still don’t eat meat on Fridays but it is my choice and it is not a sacrifice but more of a way to keep God and Jesus’ sacrifice in my thoughts at least three times that day. It’s a great ‘tradition’ for me that strengthens my faith. Pope Francis’ attempts to be more inclusive has been met with huge resistance from the more traditional faithful, some Catholics even calling him the anti-Christ. I am reminded of the way the conservative, scripture-quoting Jews of Jesus’ day espoused their own biblical interpretation of what the Messiah would be…as they hung Jesus on the cross. All of these nasty, we’re right-you’re wrong proselytizers remind me of the Pharisees and Sadducee’s, not of the love Jesus had for mankind (and that means women, too, even though scripture doesn’t differentiate because we all know, indirectly that He loved his mother and Mary Magdelin, shown in His actions but not actually written as, “Jesus loved women”. Jesus summed up what fulfills the Law. Love God above all and love your neighbor. Of course the dude had to get a definition of WHO that neighbor was, so Jesus obliged with specifics, since apparently the dude wanted to limit his liability for love expended. If what you say and do doesn’t show love, you do not uphold the Law. And, Jesus didn’t come to save the supposed righteous but the very ones the righteous condemned.

In fact the text of the Bible did not significantly change during the translations from Latin into English in the 1500-1600's. It wasn't until the Alexandrian manuscripts were rediscovered in the late 1890's where the corruption of the Bible occurred. God preserved his Word in the Holy Bible King James in spite of the religious scholars both Catholic or Evangelical. We should not only be railing against the apostasy in the Roman Catholic cult, but the ecumenicals within the Evangelical "fruit-checking" cult as well.

It is always beneficial to engage in open and respectful dialogue with those of different faiths in order to foster mutual understanding and cooperation. I would encourage you to reflect on these values and consider how promoting understanding and tolerance can enrich your interactions with others. ⚜️AVE MARIA

No. Leading people to the truth is nothing he needs to apologize for. Tolerance leads people to Hell. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. The catholic church is not Jesus, not his church and cannot claim his authority. His body is all believers who put their faith in him and his finished work. We are saved by grace through faith. Not of our own works. Lest any man should boast.

    • @SonicSnakeRecords

@@schwiftycats You are ignorant to importance of tolerance and understanding in religious beliefs. Tolerance does not lead people to Hell; in fact, tolerance promotes acceptance and understanding between individuals of different faiths.
Furthermore, while it is true that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life according to Christian beliefs, it is not accurate to dismiss the Catholic Church as not being Jesuss Church or claiming his authority.
The Catholic Church has a long history and tradition of worshiping and spreading the teachings of Jesus.
Additionally, the statement that individuals are saved by grace through faith and not by their own works is a common belief in Christianity.
However, it is important to acknowledge the importance of good works and living a righteous life as a way to express gratitude for the grace and salvation given by God.
It is essential to promote understanding and respect for all religious beliefs, and to avoid making divisive or ignorant statements that may perpetuate misunderstanding and intolerance.
The Catholic Church was commissioned by Christ to teach all nations and to teach them infallibly-guided, as He promised, by the Holy Spirit until the end of the world (see John 14:25, 16:13).
The mere fact that the Church teaches that something definitely true is a guarantee that it is true (see Luke 10:16).
Christ appointed Peter, so that we could discern truth from error.
This is how Catholics can know
in light of the definative teachings of the Church which leaders are leading people astry and which are not and be able to discern he Spirit of Truth from the spirit of error in light of the definative teachings, doctrines and dogmas of the Magisterium.
For more than 2,000 years the Catholic Church has never once contradicted itself in its infallibly defined doctrines on faith and morals.
This doctrinal consistency is exactly what one would expect if Jesus divinely instituted the Catholic Church.
Such constancy of doctrine is unheard of in other religious organizations. Consider the thousands of doctrinal/denominational divisions we have seen in Protestantism in just 500 years.

@@michi-bi You show a misunderstanding of religious beliefs and practices.
The assumption that reverence for the Virgin Mary is somehow separate from honoring Jesus is misguided.
In many Christian traditions, including Catholicism, Mary is venerated as the mother of Jesus and plays a significant role in the life of believers.
This does not diminish the importance of Jesus as Savior.
Furthermore, the idea that seeking God through Mary or other figures is incompatible with true faith in Jesus is a narrow and limited perspective.
Different individuals find spiritual connection and guidance through various avenues, and Mary can serve as a source of inspiration and intercession for many believers.
It is also important to note that judging others' faith and spiritual practices, as this comment does, is not a productive or respectful way to engage with differing beliefs.
Each person's relationship with God is personal and unique, and it is not for others to dictate how someone should connect with their faith.
Ultimately, true understanding and discernment come from an open heart and mind, a willingness to learn from diverse perspectives, and a commitment to seeking the truth in love and humility. Judging and criticizing others' spiritual journeys only perpetuates ignorance and division.

Mary prophesied, "...all generations shall call Me blessed..." Luke 1:46
I ask you, my dear friend, to read carefully the first chapter of the Gospel of St. Luke, verse 26 to verse 55. It is very hard to understand how any Christian can study this passage and then refuse to honor Mary. Why, the “Hail Mary,” which Catholics love to address to the Blessed Virgin, is explicitly given there; part of it was said by the angel Gabriel and part by Elizabeth. The angel was inspired by God and Elizabeth “was filled with the Holy Ghost” (v. 41). Let us put together the words that the angel Gabriel and Elizabeth addressed to Mary: “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed are thou among women” (v. 28). “Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.” Here we have the salutation that Catholics address to Mary. The only addition we have made are the two names, “Mary” and “Jesus.” So that, in saying the Hail, Mary, Catholics are explicitly following the Bible. I shall deal with the second part of this prayer presently.
You will notice, my dear friend, that Mary in that sublime canticle known as the Magnificat, which is recorded by the inspired writer from verse 46 to 55, declared: “Behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed” (v. 48). Who, I ask, fulfills this prophecy: those who refuse to apply the adjective blessed to the Virgin Mary, or Catholics, who love to call Mary the Blessed Virgin?

Pride, ..pride.
Anthos, but to live in the world like you do and still be able to reach such a high spiritual state of perfection that the Great Saints could never achieve deserves of crown of diamonds👍👍

By your works, apart from the Law, you will be judged apart from the Law, for your own conscience will judge you; by your works, under the Law, you will be judged by the Law. Only the righteousness - by the righteousness of Christ - will stand in the judgment, having fulfilled the Law through the crucifixion, burial of Christ, through faith in Him and His completed works.
