  • The Toyota Highlander is a great all around and perfect for families. So perfect that I bought one myself, a 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. For 2017, the Highlander has been revised with a new look and some great new features including standard Toyota Safety Sense-P. With the new revisions and features, the Toyota Highlander will not have a problem competing against its competition like the Honda Pilot, Nissan Pathfinder, and the new Volkswagen Atlas.

exactly the review i was looking for. thanks so much for being so detailed. i only hope they keep the body style the same through 2020, just so I don't get buyer's remorse right off the bat.

before you bought your 2014, did you notice the steering issue on your test drive?
maybe there is a TSB about it.

Re: heated steering wheel, is that in the Limited or Limited Platinum version? Unsure if you have that Platinum version in Canada.

We have the Limited version in Canada. Our packages may be a little different in terms of cold weather options.

Awesome comparison of the 2017 vs your own 2014. Do the hybrid versions generally drive quieter than the non-hybrids?
How quiet is it in general, esp compared to the Lexus RX.

So one question? How was it during the snow storm this winter in Vancouver cause here in Campbell River the streets don't get plowed and a true 4x4 is a must for the occasion blast of old man winter.

+Stephen Bradley The AWD system is definitely not the quickest but with traction control off and winter tires, we had no problems and our streets don't get plowed at all. I guess we have no city counsellors it's MLAS living in the area.

Everyday Reviews Funny enough I have the NDP Claire Trevino here but she drives a Land Rover lol. Wife doesn't like the Benz GLA wants something more like the other soccer mom's so we're looking at Rogue, Highlander, Acadia and CRV.
