The best recipe for chicken curry. Spices and coconut grinded as a paste. The skill of cutting veg's without a chopping board,, amazing. Food must be finger licking good😋
I have made this chicken curry twice now and it has come out spectacularly. My husband loves it too and that is a big deal as some other recipes I tried didn't really work out or made the chicken too dry. Now, I've saved this recipe that ammachi made and follow the video every time I want to make it. Love it. Thank you ammachi and the Village Cooking team!

Olden days women have used to cut veggies this way.... And some who got it frm their parents, still have the ability to do it that way.. 😊
Her spice and herb blend is amazing 👌😋

Seriously Kerala style non veg Curry's are heaven❤🔥
😂😂😂🤦🤦
Been waiting for the most scientific chicken curry 👌
Cooking enthuciasts, plz take note. She made the curry base first, added the last installment of water, brought it to boil, added the meat at the last stage and completed the procedure without adding anything, even water further. This technique creates the most succulent and juicy pieces. Cook breast pieces this way and compare with other curries, you'll agree with me.
NB: If you find liver and prawn too tough, rubbery and chewy, try this technique.
super
I have been cooking like this since the time i hv learnt cooking from my mom...my mom follows this process as well
Normally we fry the onion, ginger and garlic first , then add the meat, fry for some time more and then add water after the oil is separated from the masalas.
Frying the meat first caramelises the outer portion of the meat, adding to the taste.
But your words have given me new idea, I have to try cooking that way and see the result.
@@sauravbasu8805how is the result after this try brother
First of all, just the sight of a grandma cooking makes you feel happy, excited, peaceful and hungry ..... All at the same time ❤️❤️🤗🤗
I made this chicken today following extract recipe and turned out amazing . The aroma was in the whole house .Thankyou Aunty
Awesome ammachi 🙏....you remind me of my paati. She was from pollachi but she is no more. When i was a kid she used to make one mutton curry. The tastiest mutton curry i ever had in my life. That curry was a dry gravy with grated coconut sprinkled as final touch. I have been searching for that recipe for so many years.
Love the way she uses the knife to prepare the vegetables. That coconut mixture looks so tasty. Love it.
Please stay connected friend 💞
Just awesome. Keeping up the old tradition. It reminds me of my Mother and the Mutton which she used to make on Sundays. Till today, I long for those species and the aroma. Babaji bless her soul

I have been looking for a chicken recipe for my Sunday's dinner for friends here and finally use the grated coconut I have.. Just came across this recipe and it reminded me of my late maternal Grandma (from Thadiyoor, Kerala )the way she was cooking.
I have everything except for curry leaves but coriander leaves would do 😊
She is skilled, hardworking and very fit because of her method of foodpreparation and stone grinding ..hats off
This is the perfect way of making the right ingredients for cooking, it reminds me my past ,I.e my mother, wherever you are, hat's off MAMA.
Grinding style brings back my childhood. Grating of coconut and chopping onions....so retro and homely.
I made this today. Adi poli recipe!
I remembered that days when my grandmother cooked meals for us outside .
Excellent preparation with perfection by aunty, remembering earlier days when my Ammachi use to make coconut paste in arrikal 👌👌👌👍

My mom also uses it on a daily basis and it is a must in a Bengali household.

Love this video .we use the griding stone like yours in our place (N E India) we use the griding stone to grind spices and chutney and the taste of the chutney is excellent and tastier as compared to the one grinded by electronic grinder..The way you prepare and cook is so fascinating.. ❤️ your cooking pot. 👍🙏

Hii
I was scared for her with the way she's holding the knife and cutting up her vegetables. But as I continue to watch her technique. I then Told myself to relax lol this aunty's been cutting with this knife way before I even knew what a knife is and used for. I said maybe her hands have been so strong and planted for so long. That now She has to hold the knife like this. But I must say. I ran to my kitchen and took out some chicken to thaw out so I can replicate this amazingly well cooked recipe. So thank you Aunty for all that you do. Because you've inspired me too😍
This grand mother is I think so experienced.. very delicious........ especially Onion chopping is different so good to see....real tasty chicken gravy....👍👍💯💯💯👏👏🙄🙄🙄
I literally love the way she chops the onion without any board
Chopping board is for noobs like us. She's ultra pro max 😍
