Two months ago I was homeless with my 3 kids living in my car in Phoenix. I never held a sign or begged for money but there were people who seen me struggling and went out of there way to help me. So so grateful for every single person who helped. Shout out to Officer Jennifer and the walmart forklift driver who rallied together and got me a hotel room for 2 nights and walmart gift card.
stories like these are heartwarming... but it is shocking that in a nation like the US people still rely on the generosity of other to guarantee their own safety and existence... why do states even exist if not to protect and help its citizens?
You were homeless majority of those POS choose that life FK those poor excuse for human they don't want help they want handouts want to be treated humanely when they themselves don't act humanely I have no empathy for those POS I rather rescue a rattle snake than those POS
To hear about that guy having an associates degree and is still on the streets is hurtful. I’m about to graduate with a bachelor’s & that perception sends shiver down my spine. I can only wish the best for him and everyone else down at The Zone.
Degrees don’t mean shit lol. Experience is what gets you a job. I know plenty of people that have bachelor’s degrees or higher and don’t even use the degree they have in they’re current job
@@thezippomainac07 I agree, it is only a tool. Some people don't know how to used it. Networking get you the job because of your skills, experience, and who you know.
Yea, my husband has a degree in healthcare management and he's a truck driver meanwhile I don't have a degree and I make more than him in software and IT.
This video convinced me that no matter how down bad my life gets, I will never touch ANY illegal substances or drugs. My heart goes out to all the innocent people who just fell down the wrong road in life.
@@shawnfoogle920 I mean a lot of people do drugs first then become homeless. And even if you are homeless, if you start drugs you aren't even giving yourself a chance for a better life.
They live in the Ozarks now but I'm a native Arizonan. This is one of those when I grew up I had to walk through 5 ft of snow to get to school. When I grew up we were lucky if there was what was called a swamp cooler in the school room. But there were no central air conditioners in those days. Few Vehicles had it.💲 Certainly not school buses we didn't have tinted windows or white roofs. I don't remember anyone complaining we were always outside. And it's no hotter today. Do not let them tell you it's hot. Pay no attention to those ever-changing colors on your weather map. Every few years it looks hotter despite there's little no temperature change. That information isn't coming off the Internet it's coming from experience from A Very Old Man. One that's old enough to have ridden his horse to school. Have a good day.
@@Ozarkprepper643I’m like you in that I’m old but probably not as old as u! We didn’t have air conditioning when I was a child, most of us didn’t and you strangely get used to it cuz you never knew the difference….not just myself I remember that school buses had no a/c and my kids would come home with beet red faces from the heat until it was late October!
The ending of this video made me cry. Seeing that woman deny help a million times and the workers not giving up on her gave me hope for humanity. Those compassionate words "we all make mistakes" and "i wanna make sure youre ok" are words we need to share more, but not only through social media but also in person.
I use to live there. Most people on the streets deny services. The folks that work for CBI as employees are usually peer supports that have their own history with similar struggles and are really genuine. Most people respect them because they come from a genuine place, not looking down on anyone because they been through something similar themselves. CBI at CASS has even hired some people who use to live there after they got their ish together.
@@onigiri2136 This is not a generalized statement but the people I've tried to help that have been heavy abusers always declined when they were on a substances, if they got 12 hours to be sober then they started feeling regret and literally begged for help. The comedown is probably a big factor there but I do think it's a big step they need to take. Because obviously you dont want help if you're high on fent/meth/herion whatever since that ''dopamine'' rush is too powerful for the brain to handle. As to how they or we get themselves to take that step I dont really know.
@@rakshiramper112 hours? 😂 it takes YEARS even with suboxone for one to stop feeling that they should run back to dope. ‘Sober up’ is something a person who got drunk one day does. These people need programs for an extended period to help their brains heal before they can make good decisions. That’s one of the factors to why they continue to relapse and eventually give up. That and they hear the rumors about being tied down to a hospital bed and don’t want to go but they never remember that part anyway. The process of recovery is mostly a forgotten 3-6 month period. They need to just go and do it and in 6-12 months they will then begin to have brain cells firing once again to where they can reflect. It’s not an easy road. 12 hours isn’t shit.

Gangs, people out of their minds on drugs, mental health issues etc All of that and still can’t imagine. I live semi close to this. I’m technically in the Phoenix suburbs, but far enough away that there’s no one homeless within at least 15 miles. So I was shocked to see how bad it’s gotten downtown. I googled The Zone this morning after watching this video, and found a few articles on just how bad it is and how gangs control rent for everyone’s tent space and if they don’t pay, they beat you up with a pole and burn down your tent. Apparently the business owners have had enough of the murders, and cleaning up what is now a biohazard and filed a lawsuit with the city of Phoenix. The city failed to clean up the zone multiple times within the past few hearings. The cops won’t even go down there to enforce anything anymore. No even about drug use. It’s insane. So now a Federal Judge has officially ordered the city to clean it up, and sweep away the tents and everything by November 4th. Which makes me wonder where the 1000+ homeless are going to go because they are refusing the beds that are available to them. It’s crazy. These guys are brave to step foot in there! I’m too afraid to even drive down there!
That’s tragic everyone has a soul. There is so much evil in this World that singles out the weak and innocent. I do believe in strict laws. IGet the suppliers get the oppressors . The lack of support for the police by corrupt politicians ;and lenient don’t give a toss attitude towards law breakers leads to this mess. People like you two and the free ride guy and others in the video are very bold and kind, looking past the dangers and just looking to help out those in need and letting the world know about it. Thank you. I’m grateful for people like yall.
Kevin being in the video is the only thing that gives these videos a credibility, Tylers personality is so condescending. Im not sure Kevin is enough to keep these from being a net negative overall though.
My heart goes out to the gentleman who just got his associates in nursing. I lived in my car for over a year doing prerequisites for the nursing program. I'm in my second semester of nursing school now and got an apartment. That year in my car was horrible.
I'm curious what his situation is, because in the video he said he got his ASN a year ago, he should be able to afford some kind of roof over his head on a nursing salary.
@@jacobtorris3428Unfortunately the nursing and medical fields in general are extremely saturated in AZ. There are a lot of schools that have pumped out highly educated medical professionals for a long time. Probably about 8 years ago I was thinking about getting into the medical field and going for RN, and the sheer amount of competition killed my ambition I had towards it.
@@jacobtorris3428the job market is pretty tough in arizona right now for nurses, as well as a lot of places don’t want to hire homeless people it can be hard to get get off the streets sometimes
As someone who was homeless in their early 20's (I am now almost 40 and a middle class homeowner), all I can say is thank you for doing these videos on homelessness. People don't properly understand the problem. I didn't have a drug or mental health problem, I just lost family support, my car got stolen, then I lost all my identification which prevented me from getting a job, and it spiraled from there. Soon enough I found myself sleeping in a handicap bathroom at a public park in Franklin, TN. There is a stigma that all homeless people are crazy or on drugs... and though there's obviously a lot of truth to it, the misconception is that the mental illness or drugs are the cause of them being homeless. Many times the origin is more due to chance or intolerance like gay teens being abandoned by their religious parents, or a woman trying to flee from an abusive partner, or for a specific example in NY I met a divorced homebuilder who wound up financially upside down after the 2008 crash and wound up homeless, or a brilliant computer programer who struggled to maintain a job because of social quirks due to being fairly deep on the spectrum. The trauma of becoming and maintaining homelessness can be crippling mentally and can lead to permanent mental illness over time. It took me a better part of a decade to get over my trauma from it. Similarly the substance abuse sometimes comes after becoming homeless simply to try and cope with the trauma. I have lived in Scottsdale for over a decade and the homeless population has exploded. Mainly since Covid. Before we got too busy being parents, my wife and I used to drop off food and supplies to whoever was sleeping on the bus stop near our house. This video inspired me to start doing that again.
Thanks for sharing, so important to give more awareness about this complex problem. Anyone can slip through the cracks with a few accidents like being fired, divorce, illness or some bad luck. Great you were able to get through it.
I too was homeless in my early 20s; I'm now 41, married, have stable employment, am a homeowner, have a car, and am enrolled in college. In my situation, it really did come down to poor choices. I wasn't on drugs or did any illegal activity; I trusted the wrong people. It takes 1 bad decision, and you could end up homeless. Since I went through what I went through, I'm now in a state of mind of continuous improvement. For example, yes, I love my home, my husband, and everything I have. I am in college to have an even better opportunity for my family and myself. Never be simply content; if you have the chance to better yourself and keep climbing, then do it.
I was homeless in Massachusetts and I can tell you the wet winter snow and ice can be just as brutal! Now I'm not sure if I'd rather freeze to death or fry in the Arizona sun. I send love, prayers and sobriety to all of these people❤
Hopefully you have landed on your feet and are doing well now. I think about this every time it gets cold. I wish humanity as a whole would be more caring and helpful 😢
@@CourtneysCockpit Yes thank you! I've been on my feet since 2009 , but I'll never forget how awful it was. I always try to help someone who is in a similar situation.
As a canadian I have done my own reaserch. Dying of hypothermia is much more pleasent then burning up. The reasoning being that your body goes numb, gets used to the cold and when you are in your final moments your body tries to warm you up making you feel like you have a blanket around you. After the first half its pleasent.
Note: it is important to recognize that "help" and "programs" do not always apply or are not always available to anyone who needs it. Each program has a charter or outline of what it does and whom their resources apply. The gentleman going to school while living in his tent needs a specific set of assistance tools that those deployed in the area simply do not possess. It's due to what is considered "qualified". For example, drug treatment and medical assistance being offered to the older lady does absolutely nothing for the student who doesn't seem to be on drugs and seems mentally balanced. This is what is so aggravating about the American understanding of welfare, assistance, charity, etc. Unless/until you or someone you care about experience a need for which you/your loved one does not "qualify" you may not understand it.
and hes trying to work and pay taxes.. yet she was smoking drugs.. in maine you have to be elderly or have a child to get welfare.. if u dnt fall under those youre shit out of luck
When people say "slipped through the cracks", the cracks are the arbitrary rules or qualifications used by these programs. The problem is that there's only so much these programs can spend, there's only so many beds. They have no choice but to try to give the resources to those who are really the worst off, they can't help everybody all at once.
@@BigA-th9ln So you basically want concentration camps full of people who may have simply fallen down the wrong path in life? I won't call you wrong or crazy, but I would like a solid justification for why you would think that way.
@@jacobpettes335 isnt that counter intuitive? to be aimlessly using time, energy, resources to help those who are refusing, on the brink of death? instead of giving little helping hand to a person who needs just a lil boost to get out of there and be productive part of society, creating taxes which pay for all these efforts?

I had a nervous break, ended up homeless in the zone. I saw some very sad things and left to move up north. I feel blessed that I somehow fought my way out. Homelessness equals near hopelessness. It was so damned lonely, though there were others around me in various stages of dying.
I may not know you, but Im so glad you made it out. In the end you go on knowing you crawled out of what most people die in through your will alone. That is a HELL of a feat that deserves to be acknowledged for what it is. You did something less than 1% can accomplish, and that is plenty enough to be proud of. Im proud of you. Congratulations, and i wish the best for your future. I wish for stability and prosperity. Independence often leads to closing up. And I don't mean to overgeneralize you but i pray you havent lost your abuility to accept someone into your life. I got so used to people being temporary that i list the will to make/keep relationships or friendships
My heart really goes out to them and their work. There are some truly dedicated officers out there who just want to help and all you ever hear about are the bad ones or the ones that are forced to defend themselves and shunned by society. I’m not saying officers who are bad people don’t exist, I’m just saying society has been horrible to those that help it. No wonder there’s a nationwide shortage.
People like them are the representative of why I wanted to be a cop. To be someone of empathy. To protect and help those is a truly powerful and overwhelming task.
One thing I love about those videos is that, no matter how hard subject is, Tyler ends videos on positive notes by showing people/organizations that provide help and solution to the problems, meaning that there is still some kind of hope for humanity. I'm so glad that I subscribed
You are not even making the slightest dent in solving the problem of homelessness, unless you tell the truth and get the Federal government to step up to the plate to make homelessness more of a priority when it comes to government spending than war mongering is a priority. Let's fix our own problems before we fix other people's problems in countries that we can not pronounce thousands of miles away from us.

I live in Phoenix. I try to help the homeless with food when I can, but with two jobs, I can barely afford to feed myself. It's a never ending cycle. Tyler did not show the rampage of prostitution on the blade which is just heart breaking to see. This city is hell. There's no compassion.
I live just outside of Baltimore in a community that was created by Pelosi's father in the 1950s. County Executives forced Government funded housing on private home owners and now the neighborhood has become a drug infested war zone and the prostitution comes right along with it. We used to live in a nation where we supported people in our family and our community before helping others. However, I was a teen during the 1980s and we held hands across America, sang we are the world and began helping everyone except our own..... and look what happened!
There's no helping them unless you can help them kick their addiction or mental illness. It's just prolonging the cycle; a band-aid at best. As stated in the video and in pretty much all these investigations, the root cause is not that they are down on their luck, but that they are battling addiction/mental illness and utterly incapable of making crucial decisions that are good for them, like getting help and finding a job. There will be no end to their situation until that changes. I appreciate your compassion but there's not much point in helping this way. Always help yourself out first.
After watching several of Tyler’s videos, the community outreach and phoenix has done an exceptionally better job and helping people than other states.
I have no idea how I ran into your channel but the fact you’re bringing light into a really big issue not only in my home state but in every single city in the United States is commendable. Big respects to you bro you got me learning really learning about issues that aren’t being discussed but are widely known
I hope you and your crew use extreme caution. Because unfortunately mental illness is rampant in the homeless community. I personally have had a street sign thrown through my windshield while driving 55 miles an hour. These videos are great but stay safe and never underestimate what people are capable of
True. I was very concerned with their interaction with that one man who was combative. Clearly there’s a mental health issue and with people exhibiting those type of behaviors you have to be very careful in the interactions.
“Why are you here?” -“Drugs” “What got you here?” -“Drugs” “When did you end up here?” -“When I started doing drugs.” (The City Council) “All these people need is housing and some help getting ID. So why can’t we possibly figure out what the problem is. Why can’t we solve the homeless problem?” “Should we start making punishments for drug dealers much much more harsh?” “No way why would we do that?”

I started volunteering here with a student research group just this semester, I can’t believe you were here during my time. There is so much within CASS the homeless shelter and the zone and homelessness. Addiction, mental illness, lack of funding and workers, cognitive impairment (this is what we study), the list goes on. The city of Phoenix is under major pressure to clear the zone, which they have begun. Thank you for investigating this. It is so intense and desperately needs a better solution than what we have.

I’ve lived in the suburbs of Phoenix almost my entire 54 years and I can’t believe how bad the homeless problem has gotten downtown and surrounding areas. It’s getting to be like CA!
Its everywhere! Have travelled and driven thru abandoned small towns that b4 2009,10 were thriving communities. Lg towns where industry moved to other countries. Block after block empty houses, boarded up resteraunts, stores, convenience stores. Big cities the same. Slums going on for miles. Homeless everywhere. 2, 300 people competing for 1 cashiers job. Millions lost jobs during obama yrs. (agenda) then the covid farce caused w biden, well, anyone can see That agenda. Nope! This country is falling. Hard and fast. And mostly by design!
I’ve been in the mental health system of Portland,or and have tried getting help before and that’s when I noticed how sketched the system was. You try asking for help, they “pretend” to help you by hear you out and listening to your story and your issues and that’s just about it- they don’t actually help you, especially when they don’t even know what your doing. I’ve been through therapist, psychologist, etc. They have these huge degrees and all but in the end they can’t even help you or offer you any advice and a lot of them have a bad attitude with you cause they’re probably sick and tired of dealing with people like you. Ever since I was 11 years old I had mental issues and no one knew I had autism, I learned that online and now my son has it and I am trying to get help for him but the system makes it so difficult even though they advertise that help is always available but in reality it really is not- it’s just there to make themselves look “good”
especially in AZ, the mental health help here is horrible, ive had personal experience with community bridges and they arent much help once your on the inside
This is interesting because it (unfortunately) confirms the greater problem with mental health needs relative to availability. The "availability" consists of commercials, brochures, and hotlines for people "in crisis." Such "services" and "outreach" keeps a suicidal person from hurting self or others, but just for that day. The real problem is clear after that moment has passed, and there's few to no services available to address the needs or situation which drove a person to suicidslity in the first place. If that isn't addressed, the person remains at risk, or maybe they find themselves in the situation the people in this presentation find themselves in. To me, the problem is that there are fewer services needed by ever more people, yet what's available is "just for today" help, nothing long term. Seeing this, knowing how easily even working folks trying to be careful can find themselves on the streets - this is angering, embarrassing, and heart-breaking. 😓💔
Tyler and Kevin, I firstly would like to commend you for the tireless, hard-working enthusiasm you both possess for dealing with the homeless issues that ravish many countries including here in Australia. There is a new 'Tent City just outside the glitter strip (Surfers Paradise) in a suburb called Southport on the sunny tourist capitol of Australia, Gold Coast. I don't live in tent city as I'm lucky in life and live in my house about 20mins south. I have watched 'Tent City's' presence grow with more and more crime in the area, the local Woolworths employing round the clock security for all kinds of reasons including thieving and robbing. The violence drug use is rampart and chaotic to say the least and I'm surprised there hasn't been a murder yet but give it only time. I know the answers lay deep within social culture moral and in turn creating ethical ones with policy and statutes, but I employ one notion that has always helped me when doing some outreach in my own ways and that is to not discount these people's strengths when asking them about the challenges that lay within. We should positively encourage them to pursue more tangible prospects like getting a (SRO) or group shelter just to get the feet facing in the right direction. Please keep doing everything you're doing and then get on the phone with your members of parliament and write those letters to congress together to invoke change in policy. It's people like you that show us where inspiration is. Shoutout to the cameraman/person and crew also.
Hey Tyler! One thing that I noticed is you guys kept asking how all the people get water. There’s an unofficial law (some people will say it’s a real law) where an establishment can’t deny you water. So there’s always a source of free water whether the establishment has it to give to you, or there’s an accessible water fountain. This applies to all people no matter what their circumstances are because of how hot it is. I have never seen someone turned away or not given water when they have come in and asked.
I'm glad you showed that some are homeless by choice and aren't doing anything to improve their lives. Thank you Kevin for being honest about how dangerous and unstable some of them are. I hope they find the will to get off the streets
@Levittchen4G there's a few that want of the streets but others that want to indulge in their bad habits. My in law and his friends take advantage of family and anyone trying to help them. I hate that he bled my father in law dry to the point he had to move in with us. He kept stealing and breaking shit, letting his friends leave their needles and blood bandages everywhere, he lives close to the zone.
at some point there isnt much you CAN do to improve your life... addiction is a beast that should not be seen as a criminal problem but like a healthcare problem. when someone is so depressed they aren't even trying to improve their own life anymore that doesnt mean they are depressed by choice... just means that all hope is gone.
This was beautiful in an art and heartbreaking display of reality but your crew were so empathetic and respectful. We need to see this. This is what we are all going through! If there is one of us, it is all of us. I saw misery, hope, evil, good, change, opportunity, sad, anger, etc. I cried, smiled, and just ....please do not stop. I wanted to be a part of your crew, it seemed so genuine.
politicians love to demonize the homeless and group them up calling them all addicts and criminals etc... the importance of these looks from the other perspective is unimaginable! ... imagine if we treated everyone in need of help like addicts and criminals instead of trying to solve the problems at hand.
Thank you for taking the time and opportunity to share this information with everyone around the globe! You are very valuable out there showing what really happens to those on the streets! God bless your caring abilities.
Kevin is one of the few people i have so much respect for, i love his honesty, kindness and the way he called out those poser out in Las Vegas for giving the homeless street bought weed. Men like Kevin should be the ones who runs the country
That was a good man giving out the free rides, saying that he's giving back after being homeless himself at one point & is now back on his feet & knows what it's like !! Good stuff !! ❤
I just need to take a moment to thank Tyler for actually showing stuff people don’t wanna show and also how he shows the hard stuff that happens that most of the media doesn’t show
Refusing to give up can also sound like strong arming. You can drag her off the street and get her into housing, but she'll be right back on the streets the moment it feels like too much for her to handle, meanwhile the college student isn't offered help
I think we should all appreciate Tyler while he’s still a “fairly unknown” TH-camr. He’s growing more and more popular by the day which will eventually make it harder for him to do this kind of hands on journalism without bias or disruption from people who recognize him. I'm glad you travel and expose situations like this in states! Keep up the good work brotha!! Mad respect
God bless you, I know the danger you are putting yourself in and your friend, I’ve helped the hopeless and drug addicted and they can be very unpredictable at times. Now as I work in a hospital we get a lot of 5150’s or totally confused, but 98% of them all on meth, fentanyl or both or other things also and it’s very hard emotionally, spiritually and sometimes physically to help these people as they wait in our ER for Behavior Health to come evaluate them, the right description are not made sometimes for the individual on hold and it causes even more problems sometimes for the nurses especially. Things have got to change!
I used to live in Az… and it is BRUTAL out there right now. People are really hurting and suffering. It touches my heart so deeply to see people working so hard to help get people off the streets and into safer situations!! 🥺 this video hurt my heart and restored my faith in humanity at the same time. Mr. Tyler, You are a brave, curious and a witty man. Thank You for these real on sight information. I learn how dangerous and sad can be outside my country (Zagreb, Croatia, Europe). I saw You were sometimes in danger when interviewing. Take care.
At first I thought the title was because it’s so massively hot… It’s horrific to think of people throwing living humans in a dumpster and burning them alive! 😱
Thank you for the content, Tyler! Every week I literally wait for your latest video! It’s time to give creators like you who focus on quality the right credit and a concrete reward! Keep going, mate!
Much love to your exposure and the outreach. Having a brother who was homeless with mental health it took years to get him back stable and off the streets. He's now been stable and off the streets for five years. It took alot of effort to get him to accept help.
Drove through the zone looking for a loved one at night, had to roll up my windows due to the overwhelming smell of fentanyl not to mention the looks I was receiving. Lived in az my whole life, never seen anything like the zone until now. It’s like a mini skid row, felt like a scene out of a movie seeing my city like that
Gavin Newsom said that a federal court in Boise, Idaho ruled several years ago that the states cannot dismantle homeless encampments that are in public property. He and many of the other states are appealing this ruling to the US Supreme Court. Most people are unaware of this ruling. You can Google this ruling
This based entirely off assumption, if you were looking for a loved one, high chances you were driving slow. Good chance people thought you were creepin through, very dangerous in the wrong areas. People have been shot for less.
@@donnadeslauriers8642 might not want to do that, you can drive by but not through. You’ll probably get robbed, not too long ago a young man was set on fire in the dumpster, alive.

The homeless community is very familiar w me but just not the ones staying in the zone.
I lived around the corner from the Zone. People without shoes walk around on the street burning the skin off their feet.. people would regularly use my hose for water, and go thru my garbage bins. Lots of crime in that area as well.. ordering any package from Amazon was stupid cuz it would be stolen immediately. The paramedics don’t come check on the people when called, and get mad when you ask them for help. It’s a nightmare.

You are the greatest reporter ever. Not influenced by media, employers, or political stance. Just reporting raw, the way it should be. Love your stuff, keep it up.
Great investigation. I will say that "The Zone" does take a good portion of downtown Phoenix, but a lot of downtown is still booming and great to spend time at. To say that downtown phoenix is completely empty is inaccurate. I drive by the zone about every month and I've always been curious about how bad it is. Tyler, I really appreciate you making this video and helping these people!
I admire all the wonderful people in the world reaching out and showing compassion to others. These people are icons & and idols, not false idols we see on TV/social media.
I shot a music video in The Zone, " Long Way Home". I'm from Phoenix & was homeless there for 15 years. I thank God I made it out. Thanks for making this video! ❤❤❤
Tyler, I just want to say your videos are incredible and I love watching them and of how they bring awareness to such social issues. Keep up the good work. You’re my fav TH-camr 💕
It's cool that you guys focus on outreach as someone who has been homeless before myself. It seems many people in AZ move up to Scottsdale during the hotter seasons and then back and forth but with the climate changing for the worse I fear it's going to get nothing but worse and worse. The thing is, with inflation now days so many of these people on the streets now days aren't even drug users..

They live in the Ozarks now but I'm a native Arizonan. This is one of those when I grew up I had to walk through 5 ft of snow to get to school.
When I grew up we were lucky if there was what was called a swamp cooler in the school room. But there were no central air conditioners in those days. Few Vehicles had it.💲
Certainly not school buses we didn't have tinted windows or white roofs. I don't remember anyone complaining we were always outside. And it's no hotter today.
Do not let them tell you it's hot. Pay no attention to those ever-changing colors on your weather map. Every few years it looks hotter despite there's little no temperature change. The ending of this video made me cry. Seeing that woman deny help a million times and the workers not giving up on her gave me hope for humanity. Those compassionate words "we all make mistakes" and "i wanna make sure youre ok" are words we need to share more, but not only through social media but also in person.
Too bad she milked em for all she could, probably stole some shit, and then went right back to being a junkie.
Suck it up
@@rakshiramper112 hours?

I’m proud of you and how far you’ve come, and thank you for educating us further. Wish you all the best!

I live in Phoenix and i hate how people say that your journalism is hurting others. I dare them to come here and say that area is safe.
I was homeless in Massachusetts and I can tell you the wet winter snow and ice can be just as brutal! Now I'm not sure if I'd rather freeze to death or fry in the Arizona sun. I send love, prayers and sobriety to all of these people❤

You are not even making the slightest dent in solving the problem of homelessness, unless you tell the truth and get the Federal government to step up to the plate to make homelessness more of a priority when it comes to government spending than war mongering is a priority.
However, I was a teen during the 1980s and we held hands across America, sang we are the world and began helping everyone except our own..... and look what happened!
stop helping them. You're part of the problem.

Yes I noticed that too!
I have no idea how I ran into your channel but the fact you’re bringing light into a really big issue not only in my home state but in every single city in the United States is commendable. Big respects to you bro you got me learning really learning about issues that aren’t being discussed but are widely known
I agree 💯 And not only the US, but throughout the world too.
Sweet comment
Yes! I used to go to this area since I lived near it. I’d drop off pack of water bottles from Costco. I got my tires slashed one time

“All these people need is housing and some help getting ID. So why can’t we possibly figure out what the problem is. Why can’t we solve the homeless problem?” “Should we start making punishments for drug dealers much much more harsh?” “No way why would we do that?”
Exactly 🙄but then again, San Francisco GIVES money to people to just continue using drugs...smdh, hopefully that doesn't come here w/idiotic policies.
People can destroy their lives with legal drugs like alcohol. There needs to be help for people who are more likely to use drugs like mentally I’ll folks
@@Jinkroll there are already many places that offer help for people who want it. Some people need be given an ultimatum to except the help and do something about their problems or they loose their right to remain in society with the people who agreed to fallow the social contract and laws of our country.
Just curious, do you know why it's called the Zone?
@@utterlyviolet I think it’s just the nickname the city gave to it. It’s a whole block, or zone, just filled with tents. It surrounds CASS and other services there for their use. I was honestly shocked the first time I saw how extensive it was
Honestly ive been binge watching your homeless videos and been donating, i appreciate what you do and those around you. You have done so much to spreading awareness im more than happy in helping the cause even with 5 dollars here and there

Bro you’re lactating 😂😂 got me off guard 😂
I’ve lived in the suburbs of Phoenix almost my entire 54 years and I can’t believe how bad the homeless problem has gotten downtown and surrounding areas. It’s getting to be like CA!
Drugs
Its everywhere! Have travelled and driven thru abandoned small towns that b4 2009,10 were thriving communities. Lg towns where industry moved to other countries. Block after block empty houses, boarded up resteraunts, stores, convenience stores. Big cities the same. Slums going on for miles. Homeless everywhere. 2, 300 people competing for 1 cashiers job. Millions lost jobs during obama yrs. (agenda) then the covid farce caused w biden, well, anyone can see That agenda. Nope! This country is falling. Hard and fast. And mostly by design!
This is truly heartbreaking. I'm from a super small town so I had no idea just how much suffering really is happening in the bigger cities.
KEEP IT GOING!!!! Seriously, the world needs you Tyler. Doing great work my man.
Getting reading and applying self help books might help you more.
It’s the same in Europe..
Can confirm. Even DHS reports you for applying for DV grant
This is interesting because it (unfortunately) confirms the greater problem with mental health needs relative to availability.
The "availability" consists of commercials, brochures, and hotlines for people "in crisis."
Such "services" and "outreach" keeps a suicidal person from hurting self or others, but just for that day.
Tyler and Kevin,
I firstly would like to commend you for the tireless, hard-working enthusiasm you both possess for dealing with the homeless issues that ravish many countries including here in Australia.
Thanx to all the ones out there who are helping the people there! May God be with you all, bless and keep you.🙏
Thank you, Tyler, for bringing attention to this issue. You're making a big change for the better.

@@elcubanito2442awareness is the first step to a change

Thank you for dedicating your time, energy, & money showing the world what mainstream media is afraid to show.
I would have held the door open for you, but I wasn't being filmed...
They don't in Canada.

I'm glad you showed that some are homeless by choice and aren't doing anything to improve their lives. Thank you Kevin for being honest about how dangerous and unstable some of them are. I hope they find the will to get off the streets
Don't forget that most of them are not homeless by choice
@Levittchen4G there's a few that want of the streets but others that want to indulge in their bad habits. My in law and his friends take advantage of family and anyone trying to help them. He kept stealing and breaking shit, letting his friends leave their needles and blood bandages everywhere, he lives close to the zone.
@@Levittchen4Gmost of them are too lazy to get themselves off the street as well
at some point there isnt much you CAN do to improve your life... addiction is a beast that should not be seen as a criminal problem but like a healthcare problem.
when someone is so depressed they aren't even trying to improve their own life anymore that doesnt mean they are depressed by choice... just means that all hope is gone.
