Ive got 2 and I completely change there bedding and wipe it out everyday. Takes 1 1/2 hours

Yeah I spend about an hour too! Half an hour on each gendered cage and it takes for ever!

I don't know exactly why I like watching cage cleaning videos. I guess I like to see the before and after. I have a few piggies at home. Cleaning is a chore I don't enjoy. But I love how nice the cages look afterwards, especially with the fleece bedding. Thank you for sharing this video 😊

Glad I found your channel! Maybe changing the liner twice a week will keep it better, because a cage shouldn't smell, or be nasty. Yes, if I feel dampness, I will definitely change the potty pads, or flip them, piggies poop alot, but because they eat only hay and plants and veggies, it's not like cat or dog poop, so I sometimes pick up my piggies poop with my hands, just some stray ones, if they're in the cage, because it's just digested plant material, lol! I do wash my hands right after though! Really nice cages, very cute setup!

You seem like a trusting person so I’m going to share this with you.. I really want a Guinea Pig! I also love and adore them very much! But.. my parents won’t let me get one none the less 2, so I made a presentation of everything I know about guinea pigs. Including the myths, what they eat, they cage length they need, etc. anyways do you have any tips to get one? Or any helpful things you did to get a guinea pig? I’d love if you responded!❤️❤️
Harass them about it thats what id did for two years...BUT just harass them because not tomorrow i get my new guinea pigs! :D

Somethings to do is prove your Responsible do chores get good grades take care of pets you may have now, Do lots of research, pro version that you can Afford it, show you have the space, don’t wine or cry if you don’t get your way, DONT GIVE UP! And understand what NO means if they say that ask why? And they should tell you then research that and get back to them with a bee answer. Don’t beg or wine or cry be yourself and make sure your commit yourself to 4-8 years! Also make sure you have a vet fund saved and plans like when I go on vacation who will take care of them.

Question; I just built a C&AC cage. Am wondering if I should use the connectors for the cage or zip ties. I keep seeing people use connectors but they stick out so far into the cage that they get in the way of the coroplast

Try etsy, it's much better for guinea pig stuff than amazon

Your girls would make less drama and mess because there is only 2 of them but with 3 or more there may be more drama depending on their personalities but the more Piggies you have in the same sized cage the more mess there will be, the bigger the cage means less mess as their poops will be more spread out
Guinea Pigs only need 1/8th of a cup of pellets per day :) and all uneaten veggies and pellets should be removed from their enclosure in 24 hours (fresh every day) and the hay can be left in there if it is clean but they pee on the bits they don't want so
Where did you get your silicone brush and can it damage the fleece?
Since when do boys smell I have 2 and they don't smell but the girls need cleaning so often

I’m always worried about gettind disease myself so I just wear throw away gloves. I only have one piggy never knew you had to have more so now going to buy this huge cage for him and buy him a friend
Same here haha when I first got my three girls the poop really grossed me out and wore gloves all the time. Now it’s just so much easier to grab them with my hands.

I have to boys and girls and they live together because they get along really well since it's a big c and c cage
@@amberapparel2862 Well then that's your problem. The girls will get pregnant multiple times. And the babies, if they will have baby boys, when they are 3 weeks old, they can get the mother pregnant. so you won't just have babies once, you will have them until they pass away. BUT, if you get the boys neutered, they will never make the girls pregnant. Just advice AND fact :)

Do you ever plan to give them a bigger cage? Both the girls & boys need a much bigger cage. Your cages are perfect for mice. 2 or 3 guinea need a 2 by 6 or 8. Bigger if over 3 piggies.
