    Hey, I'll be your friend!
I love the detail and the lack of unnecessary promotional stuff.
I have a 2002 K11 Micra 1.0s Manual. What a great little car, the handling is superb. Anyway, the question on everyone's lips is:
    1) Is your fuel filler neck completely corroded.
    2) Does you heater fan work on all four speeds
    3) Any cam chain noise
    4) Have the sills been welded
    5) Does the 3rd (high level) brake light work correctly.
?????????? Now, you can't simply answer the aforementioned questions, 'your' public require video evidence.
    Regards.

Hiya, thanks for the feedback 🙂. In answer to your questions, the K11 service video has a good shot of the sills, they're original and rust free, same story with the fuel filler neck. On startup, there is some cam chain rattle, which goes away after thirty seconds. Another Micra owner has the same behaviour with their K11, so it seems normal. The heater is working on all four speeds, if it isn't, it usually points to the resistor pack being at fault. Top level brake light is also fine, thankfully 🙂

I've never bled my brakes before, so I have a further question before I get going on my K11: How much brake fluid is needed? You had 1l in the video, but it's sold in 500ml bottles at my local store. Do I need two of those? Given that it absorbs humidity over time, I am guessing open bottles are ruined, so there's no point to getting more than necessary...

I would get two, start with the 500ml and run each line through till it runs clear. If you have to open the other, keep it in a dry cupboard, invest in a brake fluid tester (not that expensive) and you may be able to use it in the future. Dispose after three years as a general rule.
