- We filled 1st and 2nd bunks enough so now they're ready for corn in the fall which we will lay on top of the grass.
The weather was very hot (35°C) so the grass was ready the next day without tedding it.
Thanks for watching!

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.
Very nice video. Thanks.
Hvala 🙂
Such a beautiful area and farm !
Good job chaps . .👍👍
Lovely Video!
Thank you 🙂

Hmm second cut aye😏i still haven’t cut hay yet!😆😭. You’ve definitely had our summer lol, can we have some back please 😬🫣
Man, you must be growing those wildlife habitats by now 😅 yeah I'd gladly give some of the heat to you 😁 I really hope you get some summer yet 🙄
@@farmerspov4709 😆 hell no! I want the grass in a bale and I’m the barn! You must have had nearly 30c? Yeah I think summer will come in August 😫
@@casto-33c today, 35 tomorrow. The forecast is sunny but every few days storms come out of nowhere. Some places had hail as big as an orange a few days ago
a je tu mirna pec?
Ne 😀
Great job👍💪! Seems, you're really blessed this year with your harvest😁👍. Here, not far away from us, was a heavy hail storm a few days ago. Some farmers lost all their crop....everything down, even the leaves from the trees.....was sad to see that. Poor guys! It was looking there, like someone came with a huge mulcher😳! At our place was nothing🤞. Greetings from Bavaria!
Yes, so far 🙂 oh I know what you mean, it was the same here also, not far away from us 😐
💪💥😍
Another awesome video Gasper you're silage harvest is looking pretty amazing this year three silos filled already Will you be doing 4/5 cut to fill the silo you're feeding out of I noticed that you're corn is looking pretty amazing as well
Always a joy to watch your videos Gasper But it just was not long enough so i watched it twice
Looking forward to the next one hopefully a longer one Way longer 😁please
Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Thanks! 😀 Yes that's right, we will put 4th cut in and then corn on top and then if we're lucky, another cut.
Yeah the corn started slow in the spring but its doing great now, I guess it needed heat 😁 haha okay 😀 thanks again, have a good one! 🙂
@@farmerspov4709 👍
Most of us can't get the second cut to grow here in Ireland 😭
Oh I know, its a struggle for you this year isn't it? 😐
ciao bello.🚜👍❤
🤝👍
You do your job very well, congratulations my friend. 😊 greetings from Turkey😊
Thank you 🙂

Just a question
Why the crop distributor behind the Fiat and not the JD 😁
Thanks 🙂 Oh its because of the wall on the back of the silo, if I put the roller on the JD I can't compact all the way to the wall. Hope it makes sense.
@@farmerspov4709 Thanks i understand
Wow - we are having a torrid time, cold and wet with only a few good days ! Any chance you could push the good weather over here please 🤣 how much nitrogen fertiliser do you apply for each cut please
Oh yes, I would if I could, we're having too hot weather now 😀 around 30 kg/ha.
What breed of cow do you keep ?
Simmental and brownswiss.
How many cuts do you get in a year?
4 - 5
@@farmerspov4709 cool thanks
