That Crystal Ball for Ron will really help him maximize damage and allies to kick off his ability. In fact, try to get Protego for him. Imagine drawing 2 cards and then getting to discard the card that kicks off if you discard it anyway. Extra bonus!
One last thought. In the expansion, that unofficial rule became an official one, and I believe it is once per game...per player. So Ron has used it, but if you REALLY needed to cycle them to try and get something better (like location control or more allies, etc), Harry can do it once as well!
Finally! A cooperative deckbuilder again! Wohooo! :-) P.S. One advice: why don't you write CONTROL and DISCARD on a piece of paper (for these 2 villains) and place it above the villain. It will save you the time of having to read all the villain text every turn...
This might be a strange question but when and where did you purchase your game? I noticed that your dice are "glazed" or "transparent" looking; whereas the one sold on amazon shows cheaper-looking, solid colored, bright dice. I'm curious if the manufacturer changed the dice.
The dice are a huge help. Gifting everyone influence attack or health is a game saver, and you’ll need it with those new nasty villains!
