Probably the best video I’ve seen in a long time.
So love seeing these pop up in my feed .. A master bike mechanic at work, beautiful build, and such tranquil music to boot .. What's not to love about this eh 🕊
Godspeed in the Struggle 🫡
Respect the classics
Me likeeey 🤩 6.9kg with the heavy saddle nice!
beauty of a bike
Such a cool bike and build. Gorgeous
Favourite bike ever!
That's come out pretty light for steel frame, noice.👌
Love watching any bike build.
Another Jimmi banger! Love the aero rear break
Awesome video! I love seeing the weight! I wish you guys would weigh every bike build
Yep this made me love my alloy bike even more & admiring steel builds too. Also Still loving rim brakes & mech shifting too. Went into criterium & fondo with it too...
I didn't know dura ace could look so good as a 1x. 👌
Not on😀,awesome video.Imagine if every city had big underground cycling tunnels,no rain and no cars.💯👌🏻
I appreciate the panning/zoom product shots at the end to check the work. So many builds I see, do the build and don't let you check it out. Great work!
Nice bike
Beautiful.
36T at front feels short i think, need at least 42.
1st time i see handlbards being cut off =D, great video
A work of art beautiful bike i love the mechanic at work brilliant video to perfect music Jimmi.
It would be cool if you and Francis would talk with the guy at Moss Bikes. It would be cool to see and hear from him about the three different types of bikes that he offers. The gravel bike looks super interesting.
Excellent to watch, love the music as well. But what a beautiful bike, in the hands of trusty house mechanic Nic it transforms. Love it!
Cool looking bike!
fantastic content,thanks!
Very Nice man
Thanks Nic , Jimmi , and Francis , eating ....what size is the frame ? And...I love the "tape and towel " band aid , dude ..been there
Cause its seems like no one has figured out how to make a bandaid for your hands that actually stays on your hands while your, you know.. using your hands.
Sweet ride. The chopped bars don’t make sense other than trying to cut weight and they are dropped back too far. Wouldn’t think they’d be comfortable like that
You forgot to do the Shimano crank inspection 😂😂
Now I want to see it climb.
Im curious about that hoods cleaner you used
Piękny!!
having to replace the left brifter with a sram s900 brake lever or a used left di2 ultegra/ dura ace would help shave some grams, too!
Hi. Great video. Almost everything clear. would be even greater if it was explicitly stated what was subsituted with what and the weight before the rebuild started. Thank you
"It's ready? Oh, OK. Great, I'll be over.... What do you mean I'll have to ride out of the saddle on the hoods? ....For the whole climb?"
Great build. You could drop the weight much lower than that. CK headset is pretty but not light. USE stem- again beautiful machining but not the weight weenie. You could remove the gear shifting mechanism from the left shifter as the bike runs x1. There is an excess of bar tape for my liking and obviously choosing Ti hardware in certain places would be beneficial. But that's just me... Shhh... Great build. Love it!
Gut the gear-changing mechanism on left sti-lever to save another 100g, perhaps? Or replace with brake lever with no sti-capability.
Beautiful bike and editing, balm for the soul.
But doesn’t that internal routed rear derailleur cable on a steel frame course some inner corrosion with water and muck coming on the inside
Nice rebuild, but will it be raced?
I gotta say, using condoms for inner tubes is a pretty boss move.
What music did you use? It reminds me of the game series Mass Effect...so spacey... like... out of this world...
What's the name of the 80g saddle at the end? Where you'd get it from?
Those calipers really brake or they just slow down the bike? I dont think the Shimano levers have enought power to apply a correct modelation cuz normally that kind of calipers have strong springs.
Đĩa trước thay bằng loại nào ?
Are there any other types of air you could use to further lighten the bike? Like pure nitrogen, rather than the normal mixture we all breathe.
Brake pads are on backwards
How does those brakes feel 😳
Hi jimmi, love the build. Really stupid Q, who built the frame?
Moss Bikes. Steel frame builders based out of Wybunbury, Cheshire, UK.
I which I could lose weight that fast but I gotta exercise like the dickens as I need all my body parts
What's the chainring brand?
I see you used "prophylactic" inner tube to prevent "injuries" 🍆 on the ride? 😵💫
MAXXIS HI ROAD SL 175g for 25mm …. Saves around 50g as a set compared to the GP5000
😯😳👍😎
why the picture is so pale?
#HAVERIMBRAKES
👏👏👏👍👍👍🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️
These 9 grams for the bar ends are the only thing I don’t understand… It looks ugly and even on a hill climb bike I probably ride longer downhills sometimes und prefer a comfy position in my drops…
Someone hopes to be faster)))
NO GOOD FOR UPHILL ANYMORE 😢 GOOD LUCK 😅
Drop even more weight…….use a carbon frame…….
Lol ! and what about pedals ???? that could be useful to ride it ...and by the way, without wheels it would have been as useless but much lighter!
Jimmi, you’ve ruined your bike mate, absolutely ruined it, who cuts 2” off their drops 😂😂😂
P.S. if you didn’t win the struggle today after ruining your best bike for it, then you should give up cycling forever…. or keep trying ❤
Pointless using steel - it's too flexible to make a decent climbing bike...
As opposed to the incredibly flexy super light weight carbon bikes?
you had a solid light 8kg bike, just perfect
Now you have a 6.9kg trash, cheers for downgrading a bike in to an useless toy.
Why tubes though.
