Absolutely brilliant Chris- thank you! I’m at the very beginning of my stalking journey so as you can imagine tonight’s film is incredibly welcome. Love the channel
Best instruction video I've seen to date . Brilliant. Glad to see your bees are out and about like mine, ivy just starting to flower . Hope you had a productive set of hives.👍
@@Outfittertales Best produced 102 lbs from just two hives and all three going into winter queen right. Couldn't ask for more, now need to concentrate on the Fallow and last of the bucks .
outstanding video, although I shoot and gralloch quite a few deer and alternate between splitting the H bone and not ( depending on personal consumption or game dealer ) there were so many tips and tricks from this video that I will be implementing from now on, such as suspending the head for the inspections. And using the stomach as a table for the mesenteric lymph node check. Im actually excited for the next gralloch to carry these out lol.
Another very good and informative show, thanks Chris. I shot a fallow yesterday and getting on a bit I invested in an Apex Hoist, takes the hard work out of trying to get the beast up the tree, suspended gralloch is by far the best. Excellent DSC2 information as well.
Excellent video. I suggest you cover the question of what to do if say the bladder ruptured and contaminated the carcass or you get other forms of contamination in the carcass. In Australia, you can not wash or wipe contaminated meat. It has to be trimmed or condemned
Great information. thanks. I supose you sometimes have to remove the skin or cape and the trophy too for taxidermy and keep the meat in good condicion. In this case how you proceed? is that a teame for another video? best regards and good work
Another informative video. I agree a suspended gralloch is by far the best and most hygienic method of carcass preparation, but this method is not always an option when shooting reds on the open hill, when often a long drag is required to get the beast in a recoverable position. The first things I like to eat are the kidneys and liver whilst the deer is hanging in the chiller for a couple of weeks. Very surprised you do not have more subs as it is a quality channel, all the best from North Argyll.
Great vidoe, could you do one possibility where you don't split the pelvis open ? Like you say, some game dealers might not like this. Also a vidoe how to do it not suspended as it's not always possible on larger animals.
Thank You, Chris. That was great gralloch demo. Is there a chance on a future gralloch you can show the tunnelling around the backside instead opening the hip bone? Many thanks
Congratulations Chris with this show really enjoyed all of them so far thank

Great instructional video. Where did you source the bone saw please, I use a Gerber but a knife style would be easier to use - thanks

Nice. What was the brand of knife? I couldn’t quite catch the name in the video
John Emberleaf - it a custom made handle on a ventari knife
