At the end of the day there's no knife better than a cheap Mora ! There's no way those posh knifes are worth half the asking price !!!! Really enjoy your videos as ever chaps
:) I knew it wouldn't be long before the mora showed up! I cant talk for Chris or Rab but straight up... I carry two knives, my "nice" one, and my mora. There's no debate, they're a cracking wee knife.

With the greatest of respect this ramp/winch/tray/dog box you are showcasing there is NO room for any decent sized deer. That fallow was 84.5kg dressed the hoist puts together in under 30 seconds The red was 96 kg dressed. yours looks nice, mine works. th-cam.com/users/shortswmP55lvahl8?feature=share th-cam.com/users/shortshNIM_FC30dc?feature=share Swing it on the tailgate do the back end tie off the throat take the head and feet off finish the rest and go home.
Hi @theessexhunter1305 cheers for the message, just had a look at your clips that hoist of your's looks like it could handle an elephant, it deals with those reds no problem! you make a good point re the size with the dog box, it is customizable so you have choose not to have the dog section if you're regularly dealing with alot of the bigger species.
As always thanks for the feedback - but I use that regularly for reds here and have had no issue - a lot depends on how you process before you transport of course and I agree that there will always be a payoff if you are fitting a transport kennel and a security drawer system v a winch/tray - ultimately it works, and has done for some time for me but clearly it wont for everyone - if we are handling multiple large deer we use Argocat or trailer anyway which are really handy for loading chris
@@ChrisDalton-li2ov There is in my case cost also lifting many types of items. Heaviest to date was 122kg dressed Red which in you case is dragging not lifting. As a toolmaker/fabricator I get the detail in your work just it would not work for me in what I do. Good luck with the sales.
Looking forward for the next episode lads great show.
thanks Tony!
