This was such a fun show. I was so grateful to discover this Art reality show, as I had seen nothing even remotely similar since Bravo's Work of Art. I loved Tanya's work, her uplifting attitude and joie de vivre! Her work is wonderfully contemporary and expressive! Can't wait to see when the winner is revealed and look forward to season 4!
I would appreciate knowing what happened to Brie and why she decided to leave the competition. We have invested time into these ladies, ad it seems only right to have at least some explanation, so that we don't have to assume or guess what happened. I am glad Tanya got to participate in the challenge, but it is strange how this unfolded and it has left me confused. Especially then Jake said two years have gone by.

@@-yi9mu She definitely came across as the Milan's favorite as there was at least once her painting was lackluster. I think we are owed an explanation as this now has been so contrived. I would think there had been contracts that should of been honored regardless to what the artist later decided.
Statement from Bri “In the latest episode you may have seen I made it to the finals for a chance for you to soon vote for who you want to win the title and the prize of $25,000. Sounds exciting, but honestly my gut has been twisted for 2 years. There was a lot that happened off camera/ behind the scenes and I bottled up what I witnessed/ experienced. A few weeks ago I was contacted with the potential film dates of the final episode and the dates conflict with other commitments I already made. I made the decision to let the producers know I will not be attending the finale and I let the contestants know as well. I am very grateful for the experience I had in Greece. I learned many life lessons and made new friendships. I hope you enjoy getting to watch the painting challenges & learning about the other contestants and their remarkable stories. This is an outstanding program with outstanding people thank you so much for allowing me to be part of their journey. My vote is for Tanya Aubut because of her joy of the process and her joy for art itself. I felt her legacy in her painting.
I loved watching all of the artist paint their unique style, but Katrina is the one that I vote for because her work resonates the most with me. I love her subject matter, her colour pallet and her style.

Absolutely beautiful art from all three but the one that touches me the most is the magical painting by Katrina. Love Nicollete’s painting too. The flowers are gorgeous. Tanya’s style stands out, more graphic, nicely done.
Tanya gets my vote. She had the most interesting composition. The best balance of lights and darks. The mark making and collage are so well done. Katrina has great emotion in her brushstrokes but I cant get past the anatomy being off in the figure. Nicolette had such a unique beginning and I wanted her to make an abstract. The figures would have stood out more with a darker chirascuro behind them. The color values are too much the same. They are all so amazing. I dont know how they completed these so well and so fast. These artists amaze me.
I agree with Tanya being #1 here and my vote is for Tanya. I do agree with the point you made with Katrina's anatomy being off and that was obvious for me as well and I didn't think the faces in Nicolette's piece were complementary either, and if you are painting a figure the face is very important.
Tanya is wonderful and gets my vote. While the others are beautiful, Tanya’s is not only beautiful but fascinating with so much to look at .. and her joy for life and art is lovely to see ..well done everyone ❤
My favourite is Tanya’s, because it is simply my taste, however I think the angel painting should win because it best accomplishes the legacy idea. You can clearly see the emotion, vulnerability and meaning behind it and that is what makes it stand out from the other two.
I was so happy with Tanya coming back. I would have wished for Jessi to come back too, as they were voted out in the same episode and it was the one time I felt really opposite to the judges decision. But we also don’t see enough of the paintings. longer and bigger close-ups would be appreciated! And I think more disclosure as to why Bri left would be beneficial, because this doesn’t make her “look very good” in my opinion…. all the reasons my brain comes up with are something around her being a bad looser, and i don’t want to think that! I’m sure she had better reasons, right?
I love them ALL!!!! I think that Katrina's painting is my favorite so I vote for her! Nicolette and Tonya did an amazing job though 💖I hope that Bri is okay! She would have done an amazing job as well. 🥰
I loved all the paintings! But the one that I would want to hang in my house and see everyday is Katrina's. The colors calm my hypertension and the painting of the strong woman, makes me feel that anything is possible. That is why I would select Katrina. Again, ALL were beautiful! But that one just resonated with me more and would love seeing it everyday in my family room :)
The final episode had been edited and ready for release when Bri decided not to participate. That happened about a month ago. Jake and crew had to re-edit footage to create a new finale excluding Bri. Tanya was notified and agreed to join the finale.
Also so confused. Did the competition take place two years ago, and they put off the final competition until this episode where the viewers vote? When Tonya said "two years ago" it threw me for a loop. Halfway in, now, and can say as far as presentation/filming technique goes, this has been my favorite episode so far....We got to watch the three artists' process and have up-close views of their canvases, both of which I'd really been wanting more of all season. It's exciting!!!

Katrina’s piece is my favorite! For me the painting seemed consistent with her legacy explanation. All three of beautifully done, but I do love Katrina’s.
Was it planned from the beginning that the audience would vote in the end? Or did Bri win and now doesn't want to be in the final for some reason? And why is the final challenge now so much later? Well, I think it is weird that Tanya gets a chance 2 years later. I like hers best, but let's be honest. She had 2 years to practice as an artist, that's quite a long time.
The Milans are not being honest with their viewers regarding this episode. I feel I'm being lied to. It's fishy. I think that the Bri situation could have been handled differently.
The audience votes. It was planned from the beginning. I disagree that they are being secretive. Bri will share her story when she is ready. After getting to know during this season, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out that she wanted to make sure one of the other ladies won the money. Her heart seemed to break after each contestant had to leave and she got to stay.
I think she must have won, maybe there were contractual issues that she didn't want to agree to, so they had to redo the final judging to have another winner. That would be my guess.
@@ladysongster They have said all the time that winner will be chosen by us, nothing new here. Only thing that happened is that Brie said she doesn't want to be part of the final voting. So they had to edit her part out of the finale, which was so much more work for them. They still wanted to have 3 competitors in final voting so Tanya was able to come. @_melody_8 Yes, they have said it before that we will vote the winner after all the episodes are out! All artist here has had very different life experience and training with art. Some of them have studied art in many schools and done art for decades and some only with Milans. I don't really see any advantage or disadvantage for Tanya as not at any point of the competition the artists were coming from the exact same background or same years of doing art. Anyway.. I was really happy to see Tanya back. In the end this final trio became the one I personally was rooting for.
I think Bri did participate at the finale. Look at 3’:43, and 41’ in this video. Is quite visibile. Something happened and they prefer cut. No matter, they had their good reasons. Good luck amazing artists!
It was known that she did as showed her in previous video during this one but I guess they mean , after the actual challenge, and when waiting for the result (as it's not that day,but seems to be awhile after) she decided to drop out for some reason :(
I don't know how to vote, but my vote is for Katrina. They are all such amazing artists. I love the messages and the art of all three. But Katrina is my favorite.
Beautiful Work ladies💖 Going forward for this for this show I hope that there is a better consideration for the artists and their health and not subjecting them to certain situations that is not best for there Health.
I resonate the best with TANYA'S painting. The other two paintings are good, but typical. People paint angles all the time. The painting of the three ladies in the flower vase, looks like Charlie's Angles in a flower vase. Neither of those two paintings causes me to stop and reflect. But, there is some mystery to the composition in Tanya's painting, that does cause me to reflect upon the meaning of the painting for myself. Thus, I think that Tanya should win the Outstanding Artist Season 3, which is an unexpected result, considering her previous paintings, some of which were less than stellar. But, her final painting was definitely her best work of the season, and when compared with the other two contestants, Tanya edges them out, in the finale. All of the contestants did a great job throughout the competition, and I enjoyed watching the show. I am looking forward to season 4 of the Outstanding Artist.
I totally thought the same thing about “Charlie’s Angels” and why are they in a vase?🤣 And also that Tanya’s piece has some mystery to it that is very intriguing for me as well, she should be the winner!
It would be awesome if ALL these artists - teamed up together to create an on-line class - similar to "wonderlust" or "LifeBook" - each artist creates a class using their technique and market it as ONE year long class. A new teacher each month! I would buy that!
I’m voting for Katrina with Nicolette a close 2nd and Tanya 3rd. Katrina never had to redeem herself and her final painting was absolute magic. It doesn’t seem fair that artists who were eliminated get to win because what was the purpose of this competition if elimination means nothing. In my eyes the other two had to have stronger paintings to beat her. Unfortunately they were not stronger or better so my opinion is Katrina started strong and ended exponentially stronger. All three paintings are sellable and I loved every single paintings that all 13 artists painted. Being born in Greece but living in USA for practically all my life I enjoyed seeing the beautiful oceans and scenery of my home Country. Thank you Milan group for the beautiful adventure and ride.
She was eliminated and it’s not fair she wins because what’s the purpose of this competition if you can be eliminated and still win. It would put a bad taste in everyone’s mouth if that happens. Katrina was never eliminated but both Nicolette and Tanya were. Also Katrina’s painting was superior to Tanya’s. You have to be better than to win in my humble opinion. God Bless all 13 Artists!
I thought Tanya should not have been eliminated and Bri should've gone earlier in the season, much earlier, if you look back on the episodes there are at least 2 times that it was a big surprise why she wasn't eliminated, but I understand that everyone will have deferent views. Katerina's final painting had issues with the figure and the face.
4:54 Loved finally experiencing the finaly🖌 I love Katrina's painting and story, but sadly, her portraiture is executed well, while her figurative techniques are lacking. This is off-putting. I think Tanya 's painting was outstanding for the finale, very well executed! So Tanya gets my vote!
If Bri didnt participate bevause she thought she was gonna lose, would be a shame because i think a lot of people can agree that even though she was young she was amazingly skilled.
I think it might be the opposite. She seemed favored the whole season and maybe ended up winning, but didn't want to accept the terms of the prize. Like maybe they require some percentage/commission on her future earnings or who knows what. Maybe she knew she was benefitting from favoritism and decided to give others a chance.

BUT I did see how much she underminded herself which is why i also think she might have thought shed lose.. So I believe that could be a possibility, but she's talented, and you can't take that away from her.
There’s a comment above with Brie’s explanation which Brie made public. Apparently stuff went on behind the scenes which was not ok with her and led to her decision. I saw a few discrepancies in artists interviews and the actual film content. I am not convinced of the honesty of all this which is a shame.
ok at the beginning of this episode but I don't understand why Tanya was given a chance and not Jessie, Nicolette or Eva if they were top 3 at the last challenge... Nothing against Tanya! she is amazing artist!! just out of interest how does it work. and Jake says "it's been two years almost" two years what? I'm sorry I'm confused 😂
Tanya was the the last one left standing, along with Bri, Nicolette and Katrina. She was the one most recently eliminated. The show was filmed 2 years ago, and it is clear from what the artists say in this episode that the audience was always going to vote for the winner. A lot has been happening with Milan Art in the past couple of years, so they may have just decided to hold off on presenting the show. Bri just recently (apparently) said she didn't want to be in the final, but I think their idea of having 3 finalists and 3 paintings to choose from was a good one. So they invited Tanya, as the next finalist, to participate. So they tried to duplicate the conditions under which the other 3 (including Brie) painted, with Tanya in Florida.
Why? Why did Bree pull out? She was my favorite since day one. Out of the 3 shown today the middle with the red I keep going back too, so she's my pick.
TANYA hands down!!!! Her painting was the most interesting and had great composition, layering and depth, Everyone had a touching story, all the way through the show, and while the stories are compelling, it is the art we see, and the story has to be filled in by whomever looks at it, so the story is secondary to the visual outcome.
Can someone tell me why it has taken 2 years from the final challenge being filmed until the voting has taken place please? I understand that there is a certain amount of post production that needs to take place but surely that can’t take 2 years? It doesn’t have anything to with Brie deciding not to take part either as they made it clear that that is a decision that has only just been made. Any ideas.
Because Tanya and Bri got knocked up and couldn't fit in the overalls for a while. Plot twist, they aren't sure who the daddy is, but it was someone on the island...

I can't get past the right eye in Tanya's portrait looking in a slightly different direction than her left eye. 😳🤷♀️

Love Katrina’s art, however they all have their own styles. Art and creativity is one on the hardest to judge.

I just love Tanja's style. She's my Nr. 1.
Katrina’s piece is my favorite! For me the painting seemed consistent with her legacy explanation. All three of beautifully done, but I do love Katrina’s.
My vote is for Tanya her bold choices really made this final piece pop

Where do we vote? When I go on the link it takes me to a page to be an insider, I already am, but still can't vote.
Was it planned from the beginning that the audience would vote in the end? Or did Bri win and now doesn't want to be in the final for some reason? And why is the final challenge now so much later? Well, I think it is weird that Tanya gets a chance 2 years later. I like hers best, but let's be honest. She had 2 years to practice as an artist, that's quite a long time.
The Milans are not being honest with their viewers regarding this episode. I feel I'm being lied to. It's fishy. I think that the Bri situation could have been handled differently.
The audience votes. It was planned from the beginning. I disagree that they are being secretive. Bri will share her story when she is ready. After getting to know during this season, it wouldn’t surprise me to find out that she wanted to make sure one of the other ladies won the money. Her heart seemed to break after each contestant had to leave and she got to stay.
I think she must have won, maybe there were contractual issues that she didn't want to agree to, so they had to redo the final judging to have another winner. That would be my guess.
@@ladysongster They have said all the time that winner will be chosen by us, nothing new here. Only thing that happened is that Brie said she doesn't want to be part of the final voting. So they had to edit her part out of the finale, which was so much more work for them. They still wanted to have 3 competitors in final voting so Tanya was able to come. I don't understand all this drama and conspiracies.. ridiculous!
@_melody_8 Yes, they have said it before that we will vote the winner after all the episodes are out! All artist here has had very different life experience and training with art. Some of them have studied art in many schools and done art for decades and some only with Milans. I don't really see any advantage or disadvantage for Tanya as not at any point of the competition the artists were coming from the exact same background or same years of doing art. Anyway.. I was really happy to see Tanya back. In the end this final trio became the one I personally was rooting for.

I think Bri did participate at the finale. Look at 3’:43, and 41’ in this video. Is quite visibile. Something happened and they prefer cut. No matter, they had their good reasons. Good luck amazing artists!
It was known that she did as showed her in previous video during this one but I guess they mean , after the actual challenge, and when waiting for the result (as it's not that day,but seems to be awhile after) she decided to drop out for some reason :(

I resonate the best with TANYA'S painting. The other two paintings are good, but typical. People paint angles all the time. The painting of the three ladies in the flower vase, looks like Charlie's Angles in a flower vase. Neither of those two paintings causes me to stop and reflect. But, there is some mystery to the composition in Tanya's painting, that does cause me to reflect upon the meaning of the painting for myself. Thus, I think that Tanya should win the Outstanding Artist Season 3, which is an unexpected result, considering her previous paintings, some of which were less than stellar. But, her final painting was definitely her best work of the season, and when compared with the other two contestants, Tanya edges them out, in the finale. All of the contestants did a great job throughout the competition, and I enjoyed watching the show. I am looking forward to season 4 of the Outstanding Artist.
I totally thought the same thing about “Charlie’s Angels” and why are they in a vase?🤣 And also that Tanya’s piece has some mystery to it that is very intriguing for me as well, she should be the winner!
I love Tanya’s work.
It would be awesome if ALL these artists - teamed up together to create an on-line class - similar to "wonderlust" or "LifeBook" - each artist creates a class using their technique and market it as ONE year long class. A new teacher each month! I would buy that!

I’m voting for Katrina with Nicolette a close 2nd and Tanya 3rd.
Katrina never had to redeem herself and her final painting was absolute magic.
It doesn’t seem fair that artists who were eliminated get to win because what was the purpose of this competition if elimination means nothing.
In my eyes the other two had to have stronger paintings to beat her.
Unfortunately they were not stronger or better so my opinion is Katrina started strong and ended exponentially stronger.
All three paintings are sellable and I loved every single paintings that all 13 artists painted. Being born in Greece but living in USA for practically all my life I enjoyed seeing the beautiful oceans and scenery of my home Country. Thank you Milan group for the beautiful adventure and ride.

She was eliminated and it’s not fair she wins because what’s the purpose of this competition if you can be eliminated and still win. It would put a bad taste in everyone’s mouth if that happens. Katrina was never eliminated but both Nicolette and Tanya were. Also Katrina’s painting was superior to Tanya’s. You have to be better than to win in my humble opinion. God Bless all 13 Artists!
I thought Tanya should not have been eliminated and Bri should've gone earlier in the season, much earlier, if you look back on the episodes there are at least 2 times that it was a big surprise why she wasn't eliminated, but I understand that everyone will have deferent views. Katerina's final painting had issues with the figure and the face.

I love Katrina's painting and story, but sadly, her portraiture is executed well, while her figurative techniques are lacking. This is off-putting.
I think Tanya 's painting was outstanding for the finale, very well executed!

If Bri didnt participate bevause she thought she was gonna lose, would be a shame because i think a lot of people can agree that even though she was young she was amazingly skilled.
I think it might be the opposite. She seemed favored the whole season and maybe ended up winning, but didn't want to accept the terms of the prize. Like maybe they require some percentage/commission on her future earnings or who knows what. Maybe she knew she was benefitting from favoritism and decided to give others a chance.
@starveartist that's interesting! She was very skilled and she was super nice enough to do so. BUT I did see how much she underminded herself which is why i also think she might have thought shed lose.. So I believe that could be a possibility, but she's talented, and you can't take that away from her.
There’s a comment above with Brie’s explanation which Brie made public. Apparently stuff went on behind the scenes which was not ok with her and led to her decision. I saw a few discrepancies in artists interviews and the actual film content. I am not convinced of the honesty of all this which is a shame.

ok at the beginning of this episode but I don't understand why Tanya was given a chance and not Jessie, Nicolette or Eva if they were top 3 at the last challenge... Nothing against Tanya! she is amazing artist!! just out of interest how does it work. and Jake says "it's been two years almost" two years what? I'm sorry I'm confused 😂
Tanya was the the last one left standing, along with Bri, Nicolette and Katrina. She was the one most recently eliminated. The show was filmed 2 years ago, and it is clear from what the artists say in this episode that the audience was always going to vote for the winner. A lot has been happening with Milan Art in the past couple of years, so they may have just decided to hold off on presenting the show. Bri just recently (apparently) said she didn't want to be in the final, but I think their idea of having 3 finalists and 3 paintings to choose from was a good one. So they invited Tanya, as the next finalist, to participate. So they tried to duplicate the conditions under which the other 3 (including Brie) painted, with Tanya in Florida.

TANYA hands down!!!! Her painting was the most interesting and had great composition, layering and depth,
Everyone had a touching story, all the way through the show, and while the stories are compelling, it is the art we see, and the story has to be filled in by whomever looks at it, so the story is secondary to the visual outcome.
Can someone tell me why it has taken 2 years from the final challenge being filmed until the voting has taken place please? I understand that there is a certain amount of post production that needs to take place but surely that can’t take 2 years? It doesn’t have anything to with Brie deciding not to take part either as they made it clear that that is a decision that has only just been made. Any ideas.
Because Tanya and Bri got knocked up and couldn't fit in the overalls for a while. Plot twist, they aren't sure who the daddy is, but it was someone on the island...
