OK had to jump back on to say Thank for giving a link to the "Lintal Bread" !! This one will make her so happy and really it's not going to be that hard to do!!❤❤❤!! As a truck driver going on twenty five years, I do not take a risk with equipment when it comes to the transmission and the engine. And I'm driving equipment that I don't own. It belongs to my company; but I know that if I have a major problem, I will be shut down for days sitting around waiting for parts. Waiting for repairs and that costs me a lot of money in income. Even though I don't own the equipment and I don't pay for the repairs, I can lose on income quite a bit just sitting around waiting. So, I don't take chances. I get repairs done at first sign of a problem. I understand how important it is for you to make your mororhome last as long as possible. I know it's expensive to replace a vehicle such as that. I have to say when I first started listening to these recent videos where you're having difficulty with your coolant level, I became extremely alarmed immediately. Losing coolant is the biggest red flag I can even imagine because you can very easily damage the engine, a cracked block. Once you've damaged the engine it's only a matter of time before the vehicle is a loss. Transmission obviously is another thing to be concerned about; but a transmission can be more readily and inexpensively replaced. I would never ever take a risk of driving a larger vehicle like that if i'm having difficulty with coolant if I have a compromised radiator or a compromised hose. Earlier this year I was driving through Kansas and some sensor went off on my truck and my truck literally started a shut down. I had to pull off the side of the road and when I opened the hood, I realized that I had a bad hose and I was leaking coolant. I could visually see where it sprayed all over the engine and it smelled like antifreeze. I did not want to move. I wanted to get towed somewhere because I didn't want to do any damage to the engine. Obviously, I'm driving a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, which is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. I wouldn't want to damage anything. Fortunately, I was able to repair the hole myself with some gorilla glue and some duct tape. And I was able to travel about twenty five miles to a shop guided by the mechanic at work and I stopped to check a couple of times along the way that it wasn't leaking. I was extremely cautious. I topped off the radiator and I kept checking the fluids along the route and then I ended up sitting in a hotel room for several days while I waited for them to get the actual part to repair it. They also had to run a bunch of diagnostic tests to make sure everything was okay. I would never like I said, never drive a vehicle that's leaking antireeze and I wouldn't trust that I could try to fix the hole myself. I would definitely park the vehicle until it is fixed. You can do major engine damage by driving it. And I realize you're not in a good location. And it's hot outside; but I fear that you're risking the vitality of this vehicle. You're risking the engine. I wish you the best of luck; but I really wish you would park that vehicle and make sure you get that radiator repaired. If you see white smoke coming out of the tailpipe, that's a bad indicator that it has a cracked block and that the engine has considerable damage. Much love
I agree. you could damage the engine. I had a leak one time in a vehicle a 68 T bird so i pulled over and just poured water in a hot block and cracked the block.
Now that's what I call solitude! Beautiful. Never thought of using parchment paper for breads, only for cookies. Great idea, saves with cleanup. Thank you again for taking us along!

I hate to say it but I sometimes feel like I'm the only one with problems right now. Seeing that you deal with them makes me feel less alone. I like how you stay positive through it all. You're very inspiring. Thank you ❤
You are not alone in problems. I know people who've gotten laid off, then I got laid off. Business has been slowing and many people are talking about "the recession." Also many people under 40 are postponing, well, life, because of low paying jobs, and insane cost of living.
I really like your thought processing openly. Definitely do not feel you are asking for opinions on what to do. It is like self talk. Expressing a problem, what to do or not do, then resolve it to go forward.
Hi Carolyn - I really enjoyed this video & it's always fun riding around with you. Haha! 🙂 Thanks also for the Lentil Bread recipe. It looked great when you made it & I look forward to giving it a try. God bless your Thanksgiving & see ya soon! 😘
I have learned so much from you, and you encourage me in the ways you talk about in this video. When to keep going and when to stop when your RV is behaving strangely. In fact, I also have the mysterious coolant leak going on now. So frustrating, but after having it "fixed", it's still leaking. I took the chance and drove from PA to FL and topped off the coolant every morning. I can't wait to see what your final diagnosis is! You have no idea how much you have helped me on my RV journey. What would Carolyn do? is something I think about all to often 😮
Omg the views in your videos are stunning! The video quality is really good and I love the information you put about every place. Really enjoying your videos! That white dish on top of the rock is weird lol
It was solar power and internet for a secret cave inside that mound where a recluse old man with a 4 foot beard lives with his pet iguana. I would think that was pretty obvious. 😂. Seriously though, the first thing I thought was it’s for a hidden cave, and I woulda been a little scared for a minute. “Weather” or “Continental drift” is no fun but I like where you were going with the alien angle. 😄

Great video Carolyn. Some awesome scenery and chit chat. The bread looked really good. Going to have to try it. See you next week. Stay well, stay safe
I had a problem with air lock or something like that and so when I would open my gas cap you could hear the air being released. I think I need to get a new gas cap. Stay safe.
I have a Ford Transit Campervan and a Toyota RAV4 for traveling. I bought the bluetti not only as a back up in the van, but for traveling in the Rav4 and as a back up to my house in case of emergency. Hope it works well for me.
Carolyn..Love love this video! Love the wide open mountain scenery. So peaceful and serene. Love watching you cook and bake. Your'e videos of adventure with you and Sadie are refreshing! Thanks for being a positive in peoples lives ❤❤
Before you ?fixed? the radiator it generated enough pressure to spay coolant onto the engine exhaust. Your ?fix? stopped the spray and the smell.Hopefully it stops the leak. I bought some KETO bread - it was like chewing rubber. I filed it away in the circular file cabinet. (if you know what I mean) ✔🍦🏵🌼
Been away and fighting pneumonia for a month, so far. good luck with the rv. I can feel you about being in my natural habitat and away from high populations
Loved this video! Thanks for sharing! I'm retiring soon and buying an rv for full time. I'm gonna be 66 years old, and I've never been so determined and excited for anything like this before.
Such beautiful, colorful sky views, and sunsets and, sunrises. That find of that solar panel and battery and round thing would of had me scared.lscit maybe something the government put there and figured no one is gonna go up there camping .?Thank you on the lentil recipe for bread also.
Hi Carolyn, man that was a beautiful sunset you got by your rig ! I photo lots of sun rise, sunsets I've got a sunrise over the organ mtns where you camped that is quite unbelievable I will have to share that with you my old phone took a major crap on me, then the guy at the phone store broke something on it where I haven't figured out how to get 400 pics off of it that are locked in it I might have that one on a stick if I'm lucky, that looked like a nice quiet place you found to camp. Be careful Carolyn and we'll catch you on the next one❤😊
I understand.... Im in very rural Oklahoma. My nearest neighbor is 1 mile away. Im surrounded by trees and fields. We do not see anyone unless we leave to go somewhere. It is my sanctuary im agoraphobic. I love my home. I leave about once a week for supplies and thats all i do
Instead of epoxy you should buy some JB Weld. It hardens up like metal. Very strong. It comes in a pack with 2 tubes that you mix together. I've used it before. Good stuff.
Have you thought about getting a drone? It would allow you to stop driving, send it up in the air and you could spot all the camping spots from a birds eye view. You wouldn't have to do all that driving.
Carolyn, please make sure Nevada 'cleared' your account. They used to charge a fee to remove a paid ticket from the system, and this prevented anyone who had paid any violations from renewing their drivers licenses in another state without paying another fee to Nevada! Nevada is a tough state. Even when people pay fines, there is a penalty waiting down the road--more money required. It is a cheap tactic.
I really think you are great..very strong independent woman...l also like being on my own...except for the dogs of course...always enjoy your company and watching you and beautiful Sadie
😊😊❤❤❤Carolyn you are so AWESOME!! I enjoy watching your adventures alot !! I have learned alot from your breakdown and how to repair certain things on the rv..😂 keep trucking girl " keep up those cool places you 😎 go and visit I love your journeys😊
Maybe your carburetor just needs to be blown out I know they do that with like motors for boats when they are kind of plugged up you have to bog them down and then they get that cleaned out there carburetor maybe spray some carburetor fluid into your carburetor.
The high pressure epoxy I used on our hot water heater, was a good 24 hours to fully cure. I think it will be okay if you redo it and just let it sit longer. I don’t think you’re in need of any help at all, just saying what I did and it worked. Good luck, positive outcome thoughts! In PA if you go over 30 days without insurance they charge you that $500! Will never do that again! Add a little honey to your bread, it’s also a plus!
Hello Carolyn , nice video! I can see why you wanted to get out of Parump without delay! at 7:40 LOL. I am wondering if with the sensor disconnected on your transmission , if the transmission was actually stuck in "Drive". It would be like trying to start out in high gear with a standard shift transmission.. Once you get moving and up to higher speeds it would have been running fine because it would normally be in Drive at those higher speeds. So at traffic lights it your RV would have been struggling trying to get going because the transmission had not down shifted into first gear.. Should that ever happen again try to manually shift the transmission by bringing your shifter into first gear and then shift up through as your speed increases.. Just an idea.. That dish and Solar panel up on the rock cliff was kind of strange to not have had any markings! Happy Thanksgiving to everybody!
Hi Richard, Yeah, and it wasn't just on the streets. The Air BnB had no signs when I got there and 2 t**p flags by the time I left. :-0) Yeah, I figured that without the speed sensor, the transmission wasn't able to match what it was supposed to do with my actual speed. So the drive theory makes perfect sense. Great idea about trying to downshift next time. Hey, now that I think of it, before I got to vegas I did notice on the open stretches, I had some success with turning O/D off. So I think you're on to something. Thank you! I hope you're having a good night. and happy t-giving to you and your mom and Patsy!! Hugs from Sadie and me.
Love your videos. I wouldn't use automotive stop leak. Get you a large can of course ground black pepper and pour it in your radiator and when the thurmastat opens the pepper will find the leak and clog it. Pepper floats and is not permanent. If your radiator can be repaired the pepper will wash out..
Mercury retrograde in full affect and effect! Much love to you Carolyn! 🫶 Your videos bring me comfort. Meaning, just like having a visit with a friend in hard times. Not that’s it’s comforting that you had all those challenges. May it all get better now! 💫
Carolyn knows more than truckers? Whoever made this comment down below, are you a truck driver? I am a truck driver. I could tell you hundreds of stories about breakdowns over a twenty five year period. Are you kidding me right now? Hmmmm. 25 years trucking vs 8 years rv-ing. Carolyn I feel for you and I really hope your vehicle is in good shape and I hope you're able to get it fixed quickly and inexpensively. Hugs.
Thanx Carolyn I am still subscribed see you Sunday night.... And by the By with my television I click my enter button and the episode information comes up and then I arrow up and over to get into the name of the show and hit enter on that and it brings me to what is normally in the phone but I watch you on TV and I comment on the phone I believe if you want to work through your television you have to have your some kind of keyboard hooked up if you don't have a phone but up until recently I thought I was the only person who didn't have a phone in America 🥳anyway thanks kiddo happy holidays take care ~ try not to worry too much about Trump God loves us sincerely yours xoxome Bon 🌲 Humboldt County California
Folks, Carolyn does a marvelous job keeping her Ford camper going. She knows more than truckers about keeping her cross country vehicle running. I hate having a "home base". No matter how short a time you leave it, something always screws up. Never fails.

Such beautiful, colorful sky views, and sunsets and, sunrises. That find of that solar panel and battery and round thing would of had me scared.lscit maybe something the government put there and figured no one is gonna go up there camping .?Thank you on the lentil recipe for bread also.
great vid! very uplifting! yum! the lentil bread!🦌💌❤️🚙
Loved it! Happy Thanksgiving Carolyn and Sadie😊 from Ransom Canyon Tx.
Similar thing happened with my auto insurance as well, although my penalty wasn't as high in NC.
Definitely giving and accepting tips through life is a good thing. We all have something to learn from one another. Beautiful Sadie, dog too.❤
Luckily I was parked the whole time
Wow this looks so fun and you have so much freedom I love it I am so gonna get into RVing
Thank You for sharing your part of your life with Us. I really appreciate it .Have wonderful Thanksgiving day & Sadi too.
I understand.... Im in very rural Oklahoma. My nearest neighbor is 1 mile away. Im surrounded by trees and fields. We do not see anyone unless we leave to go somewhere. It is my sanctuary im agoraphobic. I love my home. I leave about once a week for supplies and thats all i do
Instead of epoxy you should buy some
JB Weld. It hardens up like metal. Very strong. It comes in a pack with 2 tubes that you mix together. I've used it before. Good stuff.
I’m going on a road trip and have a small bluetti but may need something bigger. Hopefully they’ll still have specials if I need another!
My first thought was aliens!🤣
Have you thought about getting a drone? It would allow you to stop driving, send it up in the air and you could spot all the camping spots from a birds eye view.
You wouldn't have to do all that driving.
Carolyn, please make sure Nevada 'cleared' your account. They used to charge a fee to remove a paid ticket from the system, and this prevented anyone who had paid any violations from renewing their drivers licenses in another state without paying another fee to Nevada! Nevada is a tough state. Even when people pay fines, there is a penalty waiting down the road--more money required. It is a cheap tactic.
I really think you are great..very strong independent woman...l also like being on my own...except for the dogs of course...always enjoy your company and watching you and beautiful Sadie
the disc is probably a private satellite relay for gps or navigation.
Always enjoy your videos 😊
Looks like you found a Trimble Zephyr Geodetic GPS Antenna.
Yeah, I figured that without the speed sensor, the transmission wasn't able to match what it was supposed to do with my actual speed.
Happy Thanksgiving Carolyn and Sadie girl!
The stars at night must be spectacular. Maybe earthquake sensor?
Love your videos.
I wouldn't use automotive stop leak. Get you a large can of course ground black pepper and pour it in your radiator and when the thurmastat opens the pepper will find the leak and clog it. Pepper floats and is not permanent. If your radiator can be repaired the pepper will wash out..
Mercury retrograde in full affect and effect!
Much love to you Carolyn! 🫶
Your videos bring me comfort.
Meaning, just like having a visit with a friend in hard times. Not that’s it’s comforting that you had all those challenges.
May it all get better now! 💫
I understand. And I'm glad I can give you that. :-)
Hugs.
Do you think you would enjoy some of these spots if you were without a dog? When I’m with my dog I enjoy spaces differently.
Love you Christmas tree in the desert!
Happy holidays!
Thank you!
Do you ever use your drone to scout camping spots?
Thanx Carolyn I am still subscribed see you Sunday night.... And by the By with my television I click my enter button and the episode information comes up and then I arrow up and over to get into the name of the show and hit enter on that and it brings me to what is normally in the phone but I watch you on TV and I comment on the phone I believe if you want to work through your television you have to have your some kind of keyboard hooked up if you don't have a phone but up until recently I thought I was the only person who didn't have a phone in America 🥳anyway thanks kiddo happy holidays take care ~ try not to worry too much about Trump
God loves us sincerely yours xoxome Bon 🌲 Humboldt County California
It sure is beautiful out there but I don’t know if I could deal with that much solitude. Happy Camping and Safe Travels!! ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🐶🐶🐾🐾
Folks, Carolyn does a marvelous job keeping her Ford camper going. She knows more than truckers about keeping her cross country vehicle running.
I hate having a "home base".
No matter how short a time you leave it, something always screws up.
Never fails.
Thank you Fred, I appreciate that. And yeah, a home base can be a headache.. so can a moving home. LOL
Love your attitude ☺️, I share to help other people🥰, not looking for your help...😆
