G'day Mate, I have a D40 in Australia and i have picked it up off my brother who looked after it but it only gets 20 to 21 litres per 100 km which is dismal. It was stalling and idoling roughly and a funny beat but i have folloewd all your sensor cleaning advice and doe all filters and unclogged the filthy ERG as per your video and she runs way better down low but still gastly fuel econemy no matter how slowly i drive her. So i will get new injectors in her and hopfully that solves my poor mileage. Thanks so much for your videos your a legend, they are the best online mate. Cheers and have a happy new year in 2020
Do you have suggestion on a scanner that is cheap enough to do the injector reprogram. Would love a SnapOn like you have but can’t afford it. Keep the videos coming. Thank you.

@@MatyGti12 no olvides que deberás descargar el software específico para la marca que vayas a programar .....las primeras descargas son gratis y van con el equipo, pero hay scanner s que para cada marca que adiciones tendrás que pagar extra.....mientras más barato menos marcas podrás ver ( me refiero al scanner). Hay scanner programadores específicos para Nissan y Mitsubishi....son australianos no recuerdo la marca pero hay un modelo i vident...siempre calcula lo que invertirás en máquinas versus tu trabajo....muchas veces nunca pagas la máquina.

@@brandonjcollins1062 no but I did figure it out. You can drive fine like that, all you are doing is programming in the tolerances so minor improvement is all. Hope that helps. Cheers.

I mostly do Toyota cars, and if I don't clear the pilot quantity learning value after coding the injectors, I get EEPROM ERROR DPF THERMAL DEGRADATION or something like that. Is this problem exclusive to toyota vehicles only or is there any work-around about this problem ? Thanks

Our lad had water in his diesel 15 months ago Everything was meant to be changed, but the mechanic never changed the injectors (perhaps he didn't have the machine you've used here?) Anyway, 3 month ago the D40 started playing up, after 3 weeks at the workshop, looking for the problem, they found rusted injectors! Is that something you've seen or heard of before?

Hi I'm trying to figure something. a navara was in an accident.it started up good, idling perfect.now the check engine light is on and I'm getting a loud knocking from the engine.the injectors were taken out and cleaned.the noise decreased but I'm getting the codes p0200, p2147, p1645 all of them saying something is wrong with the injectors.can you give me some guidance.thanks.tried to reprogram them.dont have the values because it the scan tool is stating that the values are unregistered

Hi Des I have a 2007 pathfinder I have had the suction control valve replaced any suspect hoses the hand primer. A new factory fuel filter and every now and then it still goes into limp mode any ideas. Thanks

Well on the weekend I changed the air filter when I purchased the Pathfinder it had a K&N washable air filter anyway when it got serviced by a different mechanic he put in a new paper filter so anyway I put a new K&N filter back in it and it has not done it again weird
Here's a weird one. Engine management light came on on my 2004 Navara 3.0 L TDI I imported from Australia. The diagnostic thingy says it's a injector problem. However the ute runs as smooth as a wistle. If I start it normally the management light comes on and it only runs in Limp mode. However if I turn the ignition on then push accelerator to the floor before the engine turns over it runs perfectly normal with full power. Any idea's?
Out of curiosity a bloke we know changed 1 of his injectors, however now redlines itself on start up and keeps doing so unless it's shut off . Would this be due too not reprogramming the new injector too the vehicle?

I ended up biting the bullet and got a brain new bike later from Japan to replace all my 2002 Nisan X trial do you original had a cracked block 12 to having a gasket replaced it with in perfect condition
Sorry about the previous comment was supposed to say I replaced the complaint with a crate motor straight from Japan the other engine have a crack in the block

Dirt in your fuel system, also watch your KPG, Do the filter also, Defo fuel issue. Des
