The Eiffel Tower in Paris, France is the base for a spectacular fireworks and light show on New Year's Eve - 1999/2000 Millennium.

I was there with my daughter as close as you could get to the Eiffel tower as it was fenced off. What a glorious night! Opened a bottle of Dom Perignon as we watched!
As part of a tourist package, we were present to witness this grand celebration. It was unbelievable that it unfolded before us. I remember tears in my eyes, overwhelmed by the sight of the Eiffel Tower on such a night. It's been years since my last visit to Paris. I feel a strong pull to return for nostalgia's sake. The last I was there was when Kim Kardashian was robbed.

It's so beautiful looking, like I'm at Disneyland.
We were there that night. It was the most fantastic night! But, I 've been trying to find news papers from the morning after. There was approximately a million people who spent the night outside as Paris closed all transport down. We slept if you can call it that outside a shop in front of the entrance to the metro. Which I believe open at 5 am.

Good spotting! When I slow it down the light appears at the top of the frame at 0:18, and disappears half-way down the LHS at 0:19. (0:20 is very close!) .. I wonder if the video was shot through glass and the streak of light was a reflection. I guess it's possible.
