P. sh I am from Africa and I do agree with you that human life should be valued over buildings. The truth of the matter is that for some people the life of certain ethnicities or religion is worth more than others to them. This is why when a tragedy strikes a developed country, the outpouring of love is immense. On the other hand, if there is a tragedy in Africa or a terrorist attack against a minority in a Western society, you get less support.
*However*, one can still give money to people in need of it and ALSO give money to reconstruct a monumental building.

I just got back from a small trip to Paris and it was beautiful. Lots of walking and got lost a few times, but even being lost it's still pleasent to the eye with the little shops, culture and atmosphere. My favourite has to be the CHAMPS-ÉLYSÉES with the Arc de Triomph, just so beautiful there.

I grew up in Paris and this video is really accurate, all of these places worth to go and see them.
If I can add a suggestion, the St Paul neighborhood near Nôtre Dame, is also on of the best place for tourism with many museum, gallery and nice café but also to enjoy Paris night life with cool bars, pubs and Night clubs

absolutely, St Paul district is my favourite part of Le Marais. Also I don't know why people forgot to mention the Latin district, it's my favourite one of Paris with the Sorbonne/Panthéon neighbourhood.
I just move here and I spend month wandering around Paris, it was a lifetime experience as this city is really unique ❤️

A great selection of which I have visited the majority. The Montparnasse Tower with its magnificent viewing platform is worth a day and night visit. I still need to go to the catacombs but the queue was huge when we tried to go. Book ahead if you can do that.I've got a minute or so video of the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night. Paris is atmospheric in light and dark. I love it. Eat French breakfasts locally where the French do! Try biere Picon (a splash of Picon in your lager to impart an orange flavour and darkness to it). Just guard your valuables as cleverly as you can especially in the Metro but also in other busy hotspots. DONT let lowlife picket pockets ruin a great experience. Watch each other's back!

@@HungryPassport I just got back from five weeks in France a few weeks ago. I would say that my favourite attraction would have been Musee d'Orsay in Paris. I really didn't like The Louvre. Too many doorways were closed and we were directed back from where we had already walked! I loved the Rooftop Garden Restaurant on the top of Hotel Raphael where we stayed for four days while in Paris for 15 days. It's a great spot to see all over Paris!

Rip notre dame I was in London last year when it burned during spring break. When I came back to my home is Los Angeles I found out some of my friends were in Paris when it burned. They didn’t see it but they heard about it.

How much cost it takes ?
went to paris for my first time in Sep 2018, and of the places I visited Sacre Cour on the hill was the best, but only just ahead of Notre Dame and Louvre, did not get to see the other places as just relaxed and enjoyed the sights and walking around getting lost and finding so many exciting things in the small side streets, and the food and atmosphere was really great, going again in May 2019 and really want to visit Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe and the Catacombs.

Take your son to the Moulin Rouge or the Lido-De-Paris were there he will see young show girls parading on the public stage with their breasts exposed in front of male dancers and an audience of mainly foreign tourists who cannot see such shows in their own country because they are banned in public theatres,children between 6 and 18 are allowed in to see these shows,no moral ethics at all.
