they make a kit where you still have a smaller pocket BUT it only comes in black bezel trim..not silver. hmm if I can save part of that pocket I would if it came in silver...one said just spray pain it silver...but would it blend in enough

In my 2007 Dodge Ram , when i had the Double Din installed I found it easier to replace the whole front panel . If I’m not mistaken I purchased it off EBay for $200+ or -

hey man, litterally bought the same radio and same size and all with the same dash kit. did you do anything to make the radio come through the dash kit more? i feel like my radio sits back behind the dash kit a little too much

Great video, can you write the specific wiring harness you used
Just search for a radio wiring harness for your year model truck. Match the radio wire colors to the harness colors. Once the harness wires are attached to the radio wires, you plug the harness connector to the truck radio connector that you disconnected from the stock radio. There is no wire cutting/splicing on the "truck side" of the project. It's plug and play. If you ever want to put the stock radio back in, disconnect double din radio and plug the stock back in. That's excluding that you modified the dash panel though. You can buy the dash bezels already squared or for double or single din radios. you just have to move cigarette lighters and ac/heat vents over to the bezel. Put the stock one in the attic if you want to reinstall stock radio later to sell the truck (if you wanted to keep the double/single din radio). 😁

Yeah. Wouldve gotten 5 thumbs up if you showed how you wired it all up.
Wiring harness would be the way to go. The wiring harness plugs into the stock connections. The only thing you have to do is color match the radio harness wires to the wiring harness. This eliminates cutting wires on the truck side. If you wanted to sell the truck, but reinstall the stock radio first, you'd simply unplug the aftermarket radio and plug the stock back in. (Removing the fact that your dash panel was modified for the new radio.)
Do they make one with the carbon fiber faceplate? My 07 Sport has the carbon fiber trim.
i dont know i think its just silver and a matte black if anything they may have a gloss black

I’ve bought this radio and a metra interface and installed it last night but the radio does not shut off with all the other accessories and just stays on
I ordered the same kit but placing it over the radio before the install looks like it's gonna set back from the edge

Buy the full panel setup dont dick with this cheap kit you'll regret it if you go to a 7" style double din later on or a halo etc
Next time you make a video...SHOW YOUR WORK...how tf you gonna skip the installation part
well if you look in the cards you will see i made a video on how to wire up a radio which is the same for every application. To make the videos efficient i go over how to remove the factory and do any type of modification to make your radio fit. for those who know how to install you dont have to skip through anything to see what the end product is suppose to look like and for those that dont i made a video showing what all wire colors mean and what they do and how they should be installed. also that way i dont have to go over the same part everytime in the video i got over 100 of these to help people out
having to do all this shit just makes me want to sell this piece of shit ram
