Growing up in SE WI and then moving to AZ I noticed these Eurasian closed doves but I also noticed that one of the 2 varieties in AZ that sounds more screechy - not really a screech but don’t know how to describe it - so it must be the collared version. It’s like a caw caw sound but not like a crow. Idk! I’ll have to record and try to do a sound search. Thought one of these videos would describe it.
You need to add the grating call of the Eurasian dove. It is distinctive and is part of their aggressive behavior which displaces native birds.

I always think that the white-winged dove sounds like barred owl. If that’s the sound. If it is the sheep like braying then that’s collared dove, too.
I hear both but I’ve always wondered if there were two calls or two birds
