Making my way through all your content, great work. Really glad I found your channel. I do love these retro inspired games coming out lately. This game looks really interesting
Thank you Matt 🥰 Definitely getting into the groove of editing/uploading by now, have loads of video ideas in store so I hope you continue to enjoy! I really appreciate your comment
1.- Great review, new suscriber thanks to that, xoxo. 2.- I honestly think all the references are not just for the sake of them... the game is suposed to be a nightmare, a dream, in the MC room he left his PC on in the middle of a horror game... I think all the references are bcuz MC played those games and his brain shapes all the tools he finds like the things HE KNOW can help him, am I crazy?
At 5:30 my housemate walked past me, laughed with me, and chanted the opening lines to Thrift Shop in that voice. Real talk though, I'm going through all your videos now and love them. I found you from a mention by Jacob Geller in his pocast series Something Rotten, where in the DMC Q&A episode, he referred to your research on Dante's model being used in Nightcry. I watched your Nightcry video, then couldn't stop watching your others too, and am excited to subscribe and see what more you make. ^_^
What!!!!! Jacob Geller mentioned me in his podcast?! Wow, that's awesome, what an honour!! Well thank you so much for taking the time to check out my channel, always a pleasure to meet more horror fans! ❤️
This looks like an interesting game, and I liked the little easter egg that you showed of the NPC using a noise to denote speech, rather than actual speech, which was prevalent in games back in the day. Not sure how I feel about it being in first person though. I always tend to have an issue with games like this, in that they make me feel ill if I play them for too long. Minecraft, Amnesia and RE8 all did this to me. (Shame about Village, as I was really enjoying it until the point that I had to lay down to prevent myself from vomming).
The voices of the ingame characters always makes me giggle. Been listening to these in my downtime while doing house work the past few days as well- great stuff I cannot wait to see what you do next content wise. If I could be cheeky and pop a suggestion I'd say something like Extermination or Parasite Eve 2. Have a good one!
♡ I had a really hard day and was able to find your vids to relax. I love how you speak and your organization is really well done! Thank you so much for your work❤
Wow, your comment absolutely made my day. Thank you! I'm working on having a more consistent upload schedule, so I hope I can keep making content you enjoy. Thank you
I'm so glad to see a review on this game, it's a sleeper for sure. Also I don't know if you've played it, but judging by your video essays you may enjoy Cry of Fear. It's sort of a more action oriented first person silent hill, but in my opinion the plot isn't as hard hitting as Silent Hill 2. The gameplay was actually really good and it had a lot of replay value for me though, which is why I remembered it when watching this video
The best thing about the re games is figuring out how not to back track. Especially after uve beat the game multiple times. Re1 remake is a great example. Ull be back tracking for the first 2 playthrus then ull leave an item u don't need till later here and don't kill every zombie there and next thing u kno uve beat the game in 4 hours
That was a fantastic review and we got Tango in the video too... yay! I've heard bits and pieces about this game but I'll definitely be checking it out now I've seen your review! Keep being awesome mate! 💙
I got it from Konami's official store! And believe it or not... it's still in stock!!! officialkonamishop.com/collections/home-goods-2/products/throw-blanket
The problem with most stamina meters is that they are unrealistic. Not only would situations like this trigger so much adrenaline, that you would be able to go beyond your usual restrictions, as long as you are someone who does any form of sports one or two times a week, you can go faster for more than a few seconds at a time. That's why I usually find the mechanic incredibly annoying and just a way to extend the playtime (because it takes longer to get to places) or add an unfair level of difficulty. At least when a game gets modded in any way, there usually are mods to disable BS like that.
Shit, this one might me going on my wish list! I’m always willing to try games that are relatively cheap, even if it will take years for me to actually get to playing it lmao
I would like to recommend Spooky's House of Jumpscares. If you've heard of or played it, sweet 🙂 If not, I would like to recommend Spooky's House of Jumpscares 😂
i rarely do comment on youtube but i will definitely do do just that. such a f good work. big up sub like and ring the bell. im straight from your 100 facts about sh2 . you will be big
The inclusion of any type of world building outside of what the news reporter from the beginning of the game kind of bothers me. I know that this is the type of game where the story takes a back seat but what little story we got through the notes in the game is actually really interesting to me and when the game just ended with no explanation to literally anything I was a bit bummed out. Should've just left it at nothing

0:50 >reveals horrors beyond human comprehension
>doesn’t elaborate

FUCK that would've been a great joke to write in 🤣
This is a really great channel. I really hope you keep it going. You're covering so much of what I love in horror gaming and I can't wait to see more.

Rewatching tango content whilst waiting for more tango content
The game is so underrated.
It’s actually incredibly highly rated on steam. It’s just not very popular.

Great video! You're being way too generous referring to the barely-power-walking as "sprinting," though.
Fantastic videos, keep it up !!!
Thank you so much!!!
Wish this would come out on switch😓
Solid review!

KILLING IT 💖 amazing as always
Considering your praise of the game, you probably should have put a link to the game in the description.
Good shout. Added it to the description!

Have you played Fear and Hunger/ Fear and Hunger Termina? Would really reccomend. The first is more medieval the second more modern.

it looks more like PS1 depending on the resolution scale.
