From my decades of detailing cars, I'm now reluctant to use these 3M products especially on metal body parts. When salt and dirt get trapped behind the accessory, it will eventually rust. Removing 3M products is no picnic. Repairing the damaged body part is near impossible. Unless you have an aluminum hood or live where they don't use road salt, then I'd say fine. Installing 3M on plastics like bumpers and moulding is fine. Nice demo though!

Nicely done! You did a great job in showing the installation process. Took a little less than an hour to do. WAY easier to follow with the video than the OEM instructions, for sure. Rather interesting design, hopefully it holds up. I'll have to remind my wife NOT to take it through the car wash though.

I've been trying to figure out how to do this. The dealership wanted $75 to do it. I have seen other videos but yours is best BYFAR! I have a 2022 Nissan Rogue Platinum and I just LOVE the SUV. I sure hope those engines and transmissions hold up over time.

Dealer installed mine-how does it drain water if sealed under the lip of the hood? Can you run it through an autowash or handwash only?

I have a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder SL 4WD, and I would to install LED lights, side mirrors, high beams, lower lights (where the front bumper is located), rear brake lights, front and rear hazard lights, rear bottom lights (red), and inside of the car (doors and ceiling lights) without damaging the transmission, A/C compressor and engine. Can you guide me on the LED that best fit for my car, and it has to be LED waterproof if it is possible.
