I lived in Namibia circa 1996 and the big uranium mine there had been shut down because prices were too low. After the USSR had ended Russia and Kazakhstan were just flooding the market. One of the main highways in Namibia had a new looking colorful water park right by the highway that was abandoned because of the mine closure. Families were the main customers.

The best Nuclear reactor and the safest is actually the Canadian reactor called Canadiom I think if am not mistaken it’s actually shuts down it self when it’s getting over heated but the problem is US never let Canada to build that reactor in somewhere else they only allow the regular reactor that produces less amount of Plutonium that used in weapons. In 5-6 years time thorium reactors are entering the markets. These are so small they can be inside a 40 ft container- waste of the process is low radioactive and in greenland there are plenty of thorium deposits. So we are facing a game changer.
