It's not technically uncut... He just cuts it really well and maintains the "oohh come over here and look at this" personal tour flow without skipping here and there and over stuff. I love it.
I went to school for diesel marine tech and used to work on yachts but they didn't really pay as well as you might think so I quit that work and now work on Toyotas.
This is probably my second favorite yacht you've featured on the channel so far. Your pathing through the boats while presenting them is outstanding. It gives a great feel for what living on the boats would be like.

Yes princess build beautiful vessels but dont forget ferritti and sanlorenzo and riva! The riva 90argo the ferritti 780 and 850 and sanlorenzo sl78 and sl86 all stunning machines! This y85 really is a masterpiece in style but mainly simplicity! Its not overcrowded with furniture and bars ect and nice big u shape saloon seating! not all this rounded jelly bean shaped rubbish azimut use that looks fancy but when you sit in it ahh not so comfy! Princess are the king of simplicity and style! My favorite yacht at the moment is the ferritti 780 but this is definitely second! Masterpiece! Happy sailing all 🛥⚓
Great tour. Princess did a real good job not only in the design but also the layout. Have to admit, couldn't find any fault or something that I would change. If I had won the lottery, I'd take her just the way she is. Great work Princess. Great video Nick.

Different goals, but the quality and quantity of your knowledge is the same as any of those men with cars. Love the fact its a BIG boat but just on that line that it doesnt overly need crew! Having said that, the crew mess is decent and light! Always like to see the crew have room! Gorgeous boat, lots of outdoor space and the bedrooms are lovely.....as always, decent choice for a boat tour! Keep it up man!! Love it!

The Pininfarina input works so well - adding a touch of art to the craftsmanship to the boat. But it really all boils down to one thing for me: I want a Seabob.

OK for me I think this is the most perfect yacht I've seen. Sure the 120ft, 130ft++ are wildly impressive, but "keep dreaming" territory. This is almost affordable and you're right, it could be run with just one multi-skilled Au Pair. The hot-tub option on the flybridge however is a must! Thanks for another superb tour.

I thought the Y78 was the ultimate yacht for me but this Princess Y85 is outstanding in its design in part due to the influences of Pininfarina but remembering that Princess has produced some beautifully refined yachts in the past. This boat is stunning. I have said before of a Princess that I would be happy to sleep in the engine room for a week just to admire its complexity, machinery, considered layout and tidy arrangement but on this occasion I would sleep anywhere on this one including the day heads. It is all so meticulously designed including the crew accommodation which in my view is equally important. What a breath-taking vision and thank you, Nick, for another brilliant comprehensive video.

Another amazing walkthrough Nick! Way too often such a high emphasis on design leads to compromises or outright stupidity when it comes to the more practical aspects. It looks like they really managed to avoid that trap and hit a really well thought out blend of design and practicality on this one! :)

Beautiful yacht. Distributions and sizes are perfect; day WC close to the wheel, with a dinette to the left close nest to the kitchen, four screens. Although there is an issue related to design and demographics, but that is something I only share with my clients. Brits are the best in what I call "modern classic" (but not only this style) with great global manufacturers been Princess one of the top. I think you are the first to start the video from another boat, not an easy task. Great idea. Great video.

This is the first boat I’ve seen where I’ve loved the use of gloss wood. I always thought I’d spec a boat with the matte finished wood, but this has made me reconsider. I think because there isn’t much of it, so where it’s used it absolutely sings!! An example is in the galley where not all the cupboards are in the gloss wood, there some white ones too. Very, very classy. Looking forward to your S10 video to compare :-) Thanks again for a great video, 👏

Thanks Nick, another great tour! Going by your voice over and the comments, this clearly proves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I wouldn’t say it’s an ugly yacht, but it’s not my cup of tea, it’s a bit over designed. For me it feels a bit like a designer that could not stop designing, adding more and more details. Amazing quality and a great layout, that I have to admit.

I agree with the previous comments about the way you do all your videos Nick,(and I saw some paintings by Rubens in my fantasy)the many curves in and on this boat reminded me about the soft curves of the many women that Rubens painted during his life. I think you meant NAIM Audio, Nick. I have only heard it pronounced as N-AIM. I met the founder Paul Vereker at a Naim dealership in N Clark Street, Chicago in 1993. Naim Audio has since been sold to the group that owns Focal Speakers. In the 70s and 80s, the quintessential British highend hifi system was defined by a Linn Sondek LP12, Naim pre-power amps, Linn Isobarik loudspeakers. Naim have now moved into boats and cars. Hope they keep your feet tapping whilst you are attempting to pilot the vessel.

Absolutely stunning boat! From the materials, to the colors and the curves, very stylish indeed. We don't have many Princess boats in our area (Seattle), but I hope we'll get more in the future.
Love the redundant crew exit routes. Also good for extra storage. I'm sure their is a technical or structural reason for it, but it would be nice to see the v-berth cabins feature more than portholes when bathrooms elsewhere have the same sizes windows as some houses. Excellent video as always.

As a Marine Engineer Apprentice for princess I can tell you guys its way better in person. Its stunning to work with these boats.

I agree with the previous comments about the way you do all your videos Nick,(and I saw some paintings by Rubens in my fantasy)the many curves in and on this boat reminded me about the soft curves of the many women that Rubens painted during his life. I think you meant NAIM Audio, Nick. I have only heard it pronounced as N-AIM. I met the founder Paul Vereker at a Naim dealership in N Clark Street, Chicago in 1993. Naim Audio has since been sold to the group that owns Focal Speakers. In the 70s and 80s, the quintessential British highend hifi system was defined by a Linn Sondek LP12, Naim pre-power amps, Linn Isobarik loudspeakers. Naim have now moved into boats and cars. Hope they keep your feet tapping whilst you are attempting to pilot the vessel.

Well Nick, another fantastic boat in a very nice video from you, but I sit here with at least one problem,regarding “my crew” a captain yes, a stewardess yes,and one person dedicated to keep all the glossy surfaces shiny and spotless. Love the redundant crew exit routes. Also good for extra storage.
I'm sure their is a technical or structural reason for it, but it would be nice to see the v-berth cabins feature more than portholes when bathrooms elsewhere have the same sizes windows as some houses.

Indeed, this boat is absolutely beautiful and it's good to see that "even" a 55 feet boat can have crew accommodations that are more then just adequate.
The Pininfarina styling is obvious and just plain gorgeous.
