This is better than most instructional videos. Good videography with pertinent notes and without all the "blah blah blah". Haven't done brakes on my 330i yet, but this looks to be about the same as most other cars.
@@NewRoad how do you know when this is? For example my sensors are indicating about 4000kms for my brakes. My rotors are pretty scored so I'm gonna replace them within the next couple months.
@@redi6 It depends on your driving style, sensor will indicate when it is time to replace. But if rotors are bad - you better replace it to avoid premature break pads wear
I changed my discs and pads but instead only took the caliper off of rather than the whole bracket, it was two 8mm hex bolts. To install the discs i had to manoeuvre it into place around the bracket

Thanks, you are right - same like other cars, nothing complicated
I’ve heard you’re supposed to change the brake wear sensors when you change the pads and discs. Is this true?
You don't have to change it unless you were driving until it started wearing off.

Hi,
Would the f30 M3 brake pads and rotors work as an upgrade on any f30? Or more hardware/software are needed?
Thanks
Those brake pads didn't look bad at all.
