It's worth noting that the Flyers' cap situation isn't quite as bad as it seems. Those numbers include Ryan Ellis who is LTIRetired and getting 6.25M and includes 13 forwards, 5 defensemen, and 2 goalies plus the buried penalty for Petersen. They're not comfortable, but they're not desperate.
Thanks JD, fun one… what do you think of taking kappa kakko as the sweetener for the goodrow contract? Maybe some other minor stuff either way but have that as the basis of the trade.
Great episode. Love the Goody trade. Sheng also mentioned taking on the Kotkaniemi contract in order to get Necas. It’s a long shot, but I love that idea too.
@@LockedOnSharks it sure is, but considering our timeline, and Necas’ upside, I’d be down to weather it for a few years. We need more EBUCenters anyway; can’t have Kunin covering C ever again.
My assumption as a glass half full kind of guy is that if a player has a one-team no trade list that team is the Sharks. That includes players already on the Sharks so if they find a way off the team they don't have to risk being sent back before they can update their trade list.
Page-au or like Paje-oh 🎉Jumbo hates Ehlers, I 😆 when u mentioned him, look up “All or Nothing” of Jumbo & other Leafs in the bubble cup!! It’s great, and I see Goodie’s contract at a bargain for what he delivers as a 3rd line staple. Look at what power forwards make, like Owen Tippett got $6.2 mil 😮
Easy for me. The knights have 6 UFA and 1 RFA they can’t keep everyone I would target Amadio, he can play Every position and every line. And he’s always healthy.
As a fellow dolphin and shark fan, its amazing we have the Grier brothers as gm, but im running out of patience with the dolphin gm, he's been in charge since 2016, and still cant win a playoff gm,
Really not a fan of Grier taking on more salary dumps. We saw how hard it was to move guys like Hoffman, Labanc, and Barabonov at the deadline. Without a salary retention slot it’s a bigger risk.
I only agree if its something short like a 1 or 2 year deal. But there might be a lot of teams that will try and risk sticking out that 1 mroe year and then letting the player go

Also think Cam is a little too small for the kind of complementary pieces GMMG is looking for.
It would be ironic trading Ozzy (the player drafted from trading Goodrow) for Barclay.
Closed circle trade
He only scores in the playoffs though
Good enough for me. The sharks gotta get there first.

Guessing Sennecke for the prospect from the OHL tomorrow.

That Kotkaniemi contract is something else

I'm really enjoying your content (brand new viewer). Having said that some of the pronunciations are killing me 😅

Getting better each show. What’s up BG on the teaser?
I enjoy the videos! But 1 piece of feedback would be to pronounce players’ names properly. Pageau and Ehlers were both said wrong

At this point it's a bit of a "charm" of the show. It's been discussed quite a bit in the past and I don't anticipate it changing anytime soon.

Your QB cant stay healthy long enough to have a fair shot. Not GM fault.
@@imthebeatplug_8319 guess who drafted him, over herbert, the idiot Grier,, if we had herbert we would be a sb contender,
Rangers also need to extend Igor. They are going to spend a bunch of money next year.
Goodrow would be solid. I don’t want him wasting his years on us again though
Good analysis, but how can you not pronounce literally anybody’s last name?😂
Drives interaction that way
@@LockedOnSharks fair enough
