Searching For Janet Walsh Potentially Solves Homicide Case

- Joined by Doug Bishop of United Search Corp. (USC), we continued our search for Janet Walsh. Janet went missing on January 19th, 2020 in her 2018 Chevy Trax. Having searched so much of Pittsburgh’s three rivers, we expanded our search area.
Searching For Janet Walsh Potentially Solves Homicide Case
This led us to Lake Arthur, located in the Moraine State Park. We entered the water and began our search. Within the first 30 minutes of searching, we came across an upside-down vehicle near the spillway. Not wanting to draw attention on this populated day, we chose to dive it a little later in the day and continued to search.
Not finding anything additional, we made our way back to where the vehicle was hidden beneath the water’s surface and Jacob geared up to begin the identification process.
Once it was confirmed it was not the Chevy Trax we were hoping to find, the park rangers were contacted and we gave them the details of our find.
Not wanting the vehicle to remain in the lake, they asked us to remove it. Lindsay and Jacob rigged the SUV and the tow company, Pry Towing, had it out quickly and smoothly.
We were later informed that there was evidence of a homicide potentially taking place in the vehicle and it was under further investigation.
We do hope this SUV brings answers and peace to a family, as we will continue to search for Janet, trying to do the same for them.

I am so glad you guys are all working together. I read an article in today's paper that a woman who has been missing for 14 years in her minivan, was found by volunteer divers in Florida just outside the entrance of Disney World in a retention pond.
Was at the scene the day they found her. We were on our way to disney Magic Kingdom.
This is crazy! I am sitting here watching this episode and realizing this is the lake I live 5 mins from and do a lot of fishing by the dam. I never would have thought there would be a vehicle in that location.
No car's underwater for a good reason - that's such a true statement.
Towing company worked well with you guys. Doug's experience as a towtruck driver/operator really helps as well.

I am from pittsburgh,watched the video s from the searches around the point and and the surrounding areas,walked many of times with my family on the river trail from millvalle down to the Mr Roger's stature,and have fished all 4 seasons up lake arthur,it was cool to see the things on video of places of been,thank you from removing the car out of lake Arthur, you saved alot of environmental damage by doing this,I can honestly say the fishing line on the car and by the damn is none of mine,I never fished over there,lol,but seriously I thank all you people who do this for familys,law enforcement,and just for the environment, yinz are truly good people,and keep up the good work,because you brought answers to a lot of different people
You do realize fishing line can float throughout the lake until it's caught on something....like a car for instance. So some of it could be yours after all.

So glad to see Doug again, he's always just been one of my favourites to watch. I'm a bit newer to discovering Chaos Divers but their video's are great and they're very knowledgeable. I love that when one person has a theory they explore it rather then shooting it down. What Jacob said about giving back to other's just starting out because he's experienced the struggle of getting on your feet really hit home for me! I left an abusive relationship and had to start from scratch with as much as $3 in the bank. I've worked really hard to get on my feet and have had some great support along the way. I'm finally able to start helping other's but hoping one day I can really make a difference to someone else struggling to get on their feet. #payitforward 💜

This is the first time I’ve seen her dive! So cool! I remember when I started watching this channel a few years ago and she was more of a “My guy has a crazy hobby & I’m just tagging along to hold the camera…”. Now she’s a knowledgeable presenter and hands-on diver. Awesome!

Good job, guys! You make a great team! I was particularly impressed with how Doug would prompt Lindsey and Jacob to explain what the viewer is seeing and what the divers' thought process is. Very professional, for the most part. (Suggestion: Be careful of using humor, with regard to safety situations, AKA dives.)
I am still having a challenge interpreting the sonar, especially with regard to identifying a vehicle, and it's orientation, let alone what model and make it is.
When you guys remove plates from the vehicles you should write on the vehicle what the license plate that you removed was. This allows the next diver know that this vehicle has been reported, or at the very least what the license plate was.
Its great to see Doug again. He has been so missed. Along with his drive to find missing people and his knowledge and skillset.

We have a lake in our state that is a flooded town. The town was Gad. They built a dam and flooded the town, realized they had th to change the name cause Gad Dam would not work. Weird thinking there are towns, houses etc under water. Stay safe guys! Thanks for all your hard work!

I just started watching y'all and I have to say I love how Lindsey tells the story line and explains what's gone on and or going on and what will happen. I've seen different channels do sorta the same but not as well as she does. Pennsylvania stopped giving the registration stickers in 2018 for the plate. So it could be 2 years ago that SUV went in. PA Registration is all online & printed papers now
