Solved Missing Man Found Under Frozen River In Truck Mike "Lil Beaver" Bishop
Mike went missing on December 18th after a family event. Mike was only 48-years-old when he disappeared, along with his 2021 Chevy Trail Boss.
After a troubling phone call and him not returning home, his family reported him missing the next morning.
Chaos Divers received the information from the family member and we decided to help as soon as the winter storm passed.
Please join us for what has proven to be our most difficult search and recovery.
Our sincerest condolences go out to the family of Mike Bishop. Thank you to all of you for your support and allowing us to help these families.

@@Seadansr1 No one expects to ever be in that position, so if it does happen, more often than not the immediate fear/shock factor kicks out most logical thought processes, then add in hypothermia (symptoms include: shivering, exhaustion/feeling very tired, confusion, fumbling hands, memory loss, slurred speech, and drowsiness) and that's just a recipe for disaster. So, yeah.

I can’t stop feeling that there is at random times a collective exhale in the air since all you guys and your different dive teams have joined in the hunt for so many people’s missing loved ones. I keep up with like four of the teams and sit a cry along with the moms/dads/siblings etc. Like Nug’s crew finding those two young kids whose loss loomed over that town for over 20 years. Even the LEOs cried on that one. You give families that which they long for most….Being able to bring them home!! We don’t always get to know the who what why where and how but at least we get the person back. So THANK YOU for donating your time and energy to make this world a better place !❤

Absolutely...these teams are God Sends to the families of the missing. I have followed all the teams sense day one and originally doing waterway clean ups only tell they started finding human remains in vehicles...at that point the Movement was formed and the Mission started in helping families of the missing...I was HOOKED not only am I huge on the waterway cleanups BUT my brother died in 1981 in a single car accident and ALTHOUGH NONE of these teams were even thought of way back then BUT my brother was found in Portland, Oregon UNDER WATER IN HIS TRUCK, so I full well know what these families are going thru in the need to find their loved one (s) and the not knowing and the importance in finding their Family member (s) and so when I say God Sends I mean that 100%. I Absolutely LOVE Lyndsey because she has a way of explaining the search from start to finish in terms we all can understand and with such a caring way of saying things. Thank you ALL FOR WHAT YOU DO FOR THESE FAMILIES and REGUARDLESS to what has gone on with the whole Jared thing...NEVER STOP WHAT YOU AND THE OTHER TEAMS ARE DOING...NEVER!!! Without you and the Movement families across the USA would probably NEVER get closure and NEVER have their loved one (s) home for a proper burial. I can't THANK YOU ALL ENOUGH!!!

Nothing I can say here can do justice to the loss this was to his family, friends and community. From the bottom of my heart thank you all for returning Mikey to his family. You are doing an amazing thing with your lives and it is apparent the toll these missions take on you all both mentally and physically and yet you soldier on to help people you had only recently met. I'm always amazed by the efforts and humanity we get to support. But, this was crazy determination. Watching all of you out there (Chaos team and Jeremy and his brother) in your boats breaking ice 😱 all I could think is "Do these guys not know what took down the Titanic???" Eric's courage to make multiple dives into that freezing cold water 😬!!! Truly inspirational!!! ✌🏽🕊️.
To "lil Beaver's" family I wish you 🕊️⚓💛

At first, I was put off with the jokes and lightheartedness, however it occurred to me that as a nurse I and my fellow health care workmates must keep a light almost joking attitude when we work. Covid was rough. My point is that these guys are doing a job that is really hard to do and not get really down after a recovery. It is just a way to keep each other sane and not terribly depressed doing a job that most folks couldn't even think about doing. These guys and girls are heroes in my opinion so Thank you.

Bless your hearts for not giving up and for going with your gut instincts and looking where everyone else said he wouldn't be. And to that young Man who went in the first and second times, had a leak in his suit and came out of the freezing water nearly frozen himself, my heart goes out to you. When you went in with plans to literally grab the body (if it were available) and pull him out...I can't imagine what was going thru your mind and heart. Talk about a tough job, you win the award for facing the toughest job with skill and grace. And thank you for the part you played in bringing the Man back home to his family. Bless your heart. Stay safe guys, job well done!

Eric, you are just amazing 🤗👍🏼 It really takes a lot of mental strength to be willing to rescue a deceased from a sunken car with your own hands. RESPECT! But I am very glad that you didn't had to do that and that the car could be pulled out after all. I hope you're doing well after diving in freezing water!🙏🏼
My heartfelt condolences to Mike's family and thanks again to all the teams involved. Please stay safe ❤️

Wow! Words cannot express what I am feeling about you guys.since childhood I have found the Mississippi terrifying. Even as an adult I hate to drive over a bridge across it. I would never think of being in a boat of any size on the river.
So I am in awe that you put yourself in and under the water. Watching the video of Eric under the water literally made my heart race. It is not just the depth and width of the water but especially the current the scares the hell out of me. Add to that limited visible and freezing temperatures.
So thank God there are people like you that are able to face those factors and do what you do despite the risks. I have immeasurable respect for all of you. Eric, brother, you are a better man than I in so many ways.
I know the Bishop family and the community appreciate what what you have done to bring closure and bring Mike home. I hope that this brings the Bishop family peace and consolation.
