    I just bought 42 acres, a tractor, trailer, grapple , 6 foot rotary cutter, and bucket. never done anything like this before. I've been binge watching videos like this and can't wait to see what kind of trouble I can get into. Tractor gets to the dealer in a week. Wish me luck fellas.

      @@M.TTT. lol yeah nothing went Wong. Just finished my 600 hour service. No problems with my kobuta L4701. Built a pole barn, cleared about 18 acres so far, built 2 big decks, built a small carport/mini pole barn, ran 600 feet of wire and pipe to my well and so on. All with the help of my little tractor. Loving life out here.

      I have a 200 too. I was going to sell it but it's my Dad's favorite and since he likes it and is now 81 I suppose I will never sell it.
      Allis sold the 200 as rated at 93 hp but as I've read at the Allis forum and in a book written by a former AC employee, the 200 was more like 105 to 110 but it was never tested at Nebraska so they sold it under the 190XT specs. I believe the 200 and the later 7000 were never supposed to be produced but in 1972 AC deemed it too expensive to produce the 7010 at the time. The 7010 was supposed to be introduced with the 7030 and 7050. Both the 200 and 7000 sold well at any rate and are still very good tractors.

    Weld the 3 pt back up. Then use a gas charged shock absorber from rear of a full size Chevy longbed pickup truck as a top link. It keeps slight pressure on the mower so it doesn't bounce, & will let it articulate over hills & valleys.
    But be careful of pto driveline interference when lifting mower.

    • @SwiftOutdoors

      Cat 1 or cat 2 size link?

    • @brianhutchinson2377
      @brianhutchinson2377 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SwiftOutdoors mine's a Cat 1. A Cat 2 might require a longer shock though, if a longer one is needed look into getting a shock from a lifted pickup truck. I also removed the shock bushings, the internal pressure of the gas charged shock absorber will hold it against snug against the top link pins.
      P.S. I pulled my shock absorber from the rear of a 1977 chevy 4x4 pickup truck.

      @SilverGleaner 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SwiftOutdoors Using the hand clutch to stop the tractor and keep the mower going is live PTO. It doesn't have independent PTO. A minor inconvenience when running an otherwise great tractor. I little tip though. Put a bungie cord across the grill when you use it to chop stuff like that. That grill can fall off and get chopped up and a used replacement will be $500 or more. Myself, I run a wire though the grill then back behind it to the air cleaner or something, so if it falls off the wire will keep it from getting driven over. Keep the latches adjusted tight too.

    Wish I can help you straighten that stack on the 190.
    Just wondering howcome it gets so overgrown. Can't it be used as cattle grazing?
    That brace that broke, if I were you, I'll take it off completely together with the one on the other side. Replace with a good strong chain, with a turnbuckle on one side to easily equalize the length between them.
    There's only pulling force on it when you pick up the hog. No pushing force whatsoever.

    • @SwiftOutdoors

      The rk brand is made by tym. Hard to run both of them in enough of the same material to compare fuel consumption. But the allis holds like 48 gallons compared to 16ish... so hardly go on fuel run with allis especially when 90% of tractor time is on rk55 due to loader and climate control 😁

      3rd high great for the grass but bogged in saplings but 3rd low was great in saplings.
      End of video was 4th gear low turning at the ends but 4th high on straights.

      7 foot and it's extreme duty with a 75 hp gear box. It didn't care about those saplings and didn't notice the slip clutch slipping once.

      @@SwiftOutdoors Extreme duty with a 75 hp. gear box, that's a joke. My Rhino Tw 72 has a 110 hp. gear box and it's rated as heavy duty. My Brown 6' extreme duty has a 165 hp. borg warner gear box.

    The brace on the hog was broken before you started with the Allis

    • @SwiftOutdoors

      Yeah realized that afterwards. The whole 3 point is twisted already and have plans this winter to redo all of that to beef it up.

      It looks like maybe the top link is solid to the tractor, maybe why it’s breaking. Maybe use a chain instead of a standard top link if that is the case.

    You were mowing to fast 21:11. who taught you how to operate machinery? No surprise you broke the bracing mowing like that. The 190 was nice to see but you would do better with a 706 or 806.

      @@stevengieseck635 lolz.....big gutless tird. Run an 826 with a kraut engine a good bit....wasn't as bad on fuel, but a 301 with a turbo would walk all over either. Hell, a 310 Waukesha in a 1950t would make a 404 farmall *or* deere look pretty bad. And the Allis or Oliver would do it on a gallon an hour less fuel. Ih was shit until bus 466s with p pumps were cheap enough to swap in. Ambach pumps are garbage, hardly worth the scrap they're made of. The Oliver might have thrown rods, and the Allis might jump gear if run by a moron, but a t/a only has so many throws in it, and I've never seen a farmall that went into gear without some grindhouse theater. Add that to the tiny 1950's era platform, and handles and levers scattered all over the place in no particular order, and the n/a diesel being roughly as efficient as an 1850 Oliver gasser......the 190xt, however....set about 120 hp, she sips fuel and zips along, all the controls right there under my right hand, on that big open platform....and I can use the power director without worry!....the 301 Allis is a thing of beauty. International knew they didn't have anything close, thats why they tried a half dozen engines all in the same displacement range, and none of them up to the rigors of being turbocharged.
