My mother is from Holland, and this brought back a whole ton of wonderful childhood memories. A cup of tea, a soft boiled egg on toast, and bread/butter with sprinkles. Perfect little breakfast. Thank you for sharing.

You need a hot cup of tea to warm your stroopwafel, and warm it a bit longer then just a few seconds. But it makes it taste a bit like a fresh one.

My mom's little brother called the chocolate sprinkles "Mice", as he said they look like mouse droppings. That was hilarious to four year old me, and fifty years later, i still call them that.

We have chocomel here, and it is one of my favorite chocolate milks.
