- Microsoft just made it super simple to change the LED colours on your Elite Series 2, even easier than the way I showed a few weeks back! This way can be done with the Xbox Accessories app, both on Xbox and PC!

This is so awesome I can't believe it took them this long to implement this.
So obviously the LED had the ability to change colors this whole time but they JUST now put this update out... wonder why they held out so long. Just changed mine! This is a dope little touch.
Colors were for diagnosing problems long ago.

The color is not staying for me. When I turn the controller off and then back on it goes back to white. (Im on PC btw)
Was having the same issue, turns out I didn't actually have a profile selected on my controller. If there isn't a light to the left of the right joystick, you are in no profile mode. Im on PC as well with the Xbox Elite 2 controller.

Mine was working. Now everytime i turn it on its white. Go change it and soon as i hit back it goes back to white doesnt save. Only way is to change the color then close app. And i have to this everytime i turn it on.

@nikolajovanovic3647 I'm an idiot. For me it was bcuz my controller wasn't set on the right profile.

@@TittlesFB so I choose profile 1, my controller is set to "1 light" out of 3, and color changes as long as I am choosing it. The problem for me is I cant decrease the brightness once I return back.. only by a small margin :/ the only way to maintain it is if i close the app.. but it works only until i turn off the controller

I mean, we could already do this through the Steam. But it's still nice from Microsoft to bring it into the Accesories app. If there was an SDK, maybe we could implement the RGB LED into the games like the PlayStation's controllers.
Yeah I covered the Steam one earlier but the big difference with Microsoft implementing it is that nothing needs to be running for the colour to be applied. With the Steam implementation you'll notice that your LED will be the default until steam recognizes it and switches it over. Now the colour is stored directly on the controller. Overall this just made things a bit more streamlined and easier for most people
@@_Caddac I believe Microsoft will make a some kind of feature to sync the profiles with the Big Picture.

my xbox accessory cant even identify my elite 2 because of firmware i guess i dont know how to fix that
Did you try plugging it in via the usb cable?

I don't see an option to change color on PC.
Make sure your Xbox Accessories app is up to date and if you're using the controller over Bluetooth you'll want to plug it in
@@_Caddac I just got it. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall the app since there is no update feature on the app itself.
Next time you can go to the Microsoft store, hit library at the bottom left, and then press get updates. You'll see any apps update 😊
Same had to uninstall and reinstall.
Sadly, Windows doesnt remove the old junk from any updated apps. So the clean app install is necessary. I also had this problem when updating my Xbox One controller as there was a sound patch.

Could you tell me if the sticks can be reversed? that is, that the right Stick is the left and de left is the right. This is possible? I'm left-handed and it would be more comfortable for me
Yes, if you go into the mapping section of the app you can swap both axis with the opposite stick.

I needed to plugin the controller to update!!
Go to the Microsoft Store on PC, down to Library in the bottom left, and press Get Updates. Any apps with available updates should start downloading.
Current Version is 2209.2209.14005.0
