This game is easily the best 3d platformer to follow in Mario's footsteps. Great music, exciting levels, better boss battles, funny characters... and tons of honest love from the developers.
The game happened to release around the same time as Mario Odyssey, so I'm really happy it was successful and got all this recognition, it really deserves it.
To be fair; Dark humour, cartoony violence, slurs against birds and Subcon in general. Still makes no sense that their changing the rating all of a sudden, it was already E10, why bother changing it at that point?

It seems that some people must not know that when they said Hat in Time won't be on the Switch is because it *couldn't* be ported. There were technical difficulties due to the engine; I don't know how it was sorted out though.
@@theobserver4214 Sure, but I mean how they worked around the initial issues. I mean, if it was really so simple then they wouldn't have had a problem in the first place. I did see some comments suggests a different team ported it but I don't know for sure.

I remember seeing the first 15 minutes gameplay for this, I knew it was something I’d want to play but it was only available on PC, Xbox & PlayStation. I knew this game was very fitting for the Switch & told myself that if it ever came out on the Switch, I’d buy myself a Switch & I’ve never been happier with my decision. 😊
If you liked Mario Odyssey... PLEASE. Do yourself a favor and support this game. It is built with love and is fun from start to finish. I'd say the humor is on par with that of Paper Mario, it has funny dialog and writing while also not being afraid of being dark at times.
I hope this game either gets more content or just a full on sequel cause man was it one of the funnest platformers I had ever played and seemed to have a lot of heart to it

TBH though I can't help but feel they'd likely just have Minecraft Steve be the indie rep only because Minecraft started off as indie even though it hasn't really been an indie title ever since Microsoft bought the rights.
