I played the demo this weekend with my 6 year old niece. She absolutely loved running around with waddledee jumping and helping while I mostly finished the levels. It reminded me of when I was little "playing" sonic 2 with my brother. I would be Tails running around doing my own thing while he was actually playing the game.
Just remember that there is always a demonic monstrosity as the final boss

I’ve been a Kirby fan quite literally most of my life, and this is so huge for me 😭 Game comes out 3 days before my birthday too! My first Kirby game was Kirby Super Star Ultra, I got it when I turned 7! I can’t wait for release! Here’s to a new era of Kirby games!! 💕

I’m going to be straight with you, fellow Nintendo fans, I have never even touched a Kirby game before nor watched anyone play a Kirby game. But after playing this demo I can safely say that now I am officially a Kirby fan, this game has won me over!

the devs are extremely generous with all of the teasers we’re receiving, we even got new information on the arena after having a buncha information already - i also like how they’re making the arena seem more like an actual arena, even if it follows the same basis the other arenas did
Kirby Super Star (Ultra) actually did this first. For some boss fights, you'd fight in an arena while other boss fights would be in their own separate arenas, like shown in the video. I imagine this will be the same. But, I agree, it's nice to see this format return after so long.

Every Kirby game since the first one has had a boss rush of some sort. The arena background/setting, however has been seldom used, despite the name, "The Arena/True Arena".
it seems forgotten land is trying to make a lot of the traditional stuff from past games more grounded

I've loved Kirby since I played through Kirby's Dream Land 100 times on by Game Boy before the age of 10. I always mained him in Smash. My favorite Nintendo character. I can't wait for this.

I wouldn't say pinnacle. It'd be nice to see HAL improve more and more with each game, making a better game each time. If this game sells well I can only see a bright future for kirby.
I can't believe it's almost been 30 years since Kirby's debut, and we're only now getting a true 3D gameplay Kirby adventure game. And my God, this looks absolutely amazing!
Even with the demo being extremely easy, I'm truly excited to play the full game. I don't care if it's going to be a piece of cake, I just want to relax while I appreciate the great art direction, the amazing soundtrack, and the gameplay diversity.
Demos are generally very easy so that almost anyone can experience them from start to finish.
Theres probably gonna be some true arena type thing that ends up revealing some true version of the final boss or something if the older games are anything to go by.
Same here. People like to complain that Kirby has gotten too easy compared to the older games, but in my opinion, a game doesn't have to be an Elden Ring level of difficulty to be a good game. Sometimes I just like to relax and enjoy a game. Video Games are supposed to be an escape from reality and relieve stress, not make it worse.
Plus, I think the difficulty when it comes to Kirby games is what you make of it. Just like Pokemon games, when fans make up more difficult challenges like that Nuzlock mode that more advanced players like to stream.
The demo was amazing, so the actual game has to be SUPER-AMAZING!!

I'm so freaking excited for this game. Kirby is a series that never gets old.
This is exactly why I love the Switch era of Nintendo (for the most part). They’ve seen how people respond to relatively stagnated or untouched series, and give the fans exactly what they want. From BOTW to Odyssey to Dread and now this, the Switch has delivered more than any other Nintendo console in a while.
And Pokémon is getting there. Very slowly, but it’s getting there
Unfortunately BOTW 2 isn’t coming anytime soon and people are not happy about it, but for me, I say give the team as much time as they need, I mean, we want the game to be at least close to perfect, right?
So excited for this game coming out on the 25th! I’m going to have so much fun playing this!

Just recently 100% this game and I have to say it’s one of the best games I have ever played in my life. Thank you Nintendo and Hal Laboratory for making this masterpiece of this game.

Already played the demo and it was awesome! I like how there was a Wild Mode in addition to the already existing normal difficulty (Fittingly named Spring Breeze), since it could foreshadow a REAL Extra Game mode where stronger enemies replace others!

I was just playing the demo last night. It's one of the best demos I've ever played. Great pacing, doesn't overstay it's welcome and it gives you more to play around with than I was expecting. Really looking forward to the main game.

The demo alone just sold me on getting this game day one
The animation is very well done in all of Kirby's actions. Looks like tight controls too.

you and me are in the same boat. i started playing video games again after not playing any since 2009. i just bought a wiiu and 3ds. those consoles are awesome. definitely check out the "new nintendo 3ds XL" there are three great kirby games on there. and dozens of others.

I've been obsessed with Waddle Dee since I first saw him on the N64 over 20 years ago. To see a game that is literally almost all about them brings me immense joy. Kirby is just so wonderful! I'm so excited!! 7 DAYS!!!
When I played the demo for the first time, I ended up crying. I legitimately could not believe that this, a true 3D Kirby game, was *actually* happening. If you told me that Kirby was getting a 3D game like this, say, ten years ago? I wouldn't have believed you in the slightest.

The narrators voice is so smooth he reminds me of Mel Wrinkler as Aku Aku and the exact opposite of the miitopia voice actor even though both give great performances. I would love to see a crossover someday.
