Sigismund adopted the tradition of attaching weapons with chains from the World Eaters, they attached weapons so as not to lose them in battle when entering the berserker rage because of the butcher's nails.

A great figure, only wish mine had come with both pauldrons attached. Have to see about getting a replacement.
