Ashley Haywood and family flew to SC to meet the Cure Sanfilippo Foundation after Sadie's diagnosis

Shortly after daughter Sadie Rae was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome at 4 months old, Ashley Haywood and her family flew out to South Carolina to meet the founders of Cure Sanfilippo Foundation, and to pitch in on creating a video they hoped would go viral to raise awareness and funding for the disease. Looking back now, it may have been a "little too fast, too soon" for Ashley at the time - but it did give her a sobering glimpse into the future journey that awaited them.
