I'm just finding out about White River. Don't own any, YET. But, it looks like I probably will soon. As far as unboxing, that's an important part of the ritual. I derive pleasure from the whole process. Taking my time and doing everything in proper order.
The M1 is the only White River I own, but I hope to own more in the future. So far I'm very happy with it. Happy to hear you enjoy the unboxing process. 🙏🏽🤙🏽 Thanks for watching and your comment!!
Had my eye on these!
Good to see one up close.
Good stuff as always👊🏻
I wud love one for hunting but so expensive in New Zealand. I love 3” to 31/2” for field dressing goats and deer
I just ordered one in magnacut with orange scales. They seem like a good value.
Awesome!! I'm sure you will love it.
Tanto version would be awesome
I have an esee izula 2 with micarta scales that is very similar. My hikimg carry knife in my camelback pack.
That's awesome!! I have an izula 2 as well and they are indeed similar. Great knives, I love Esee and their warranty is one of the best.
My favourite knife.
It's great man, I love it. Thanks!
If you ever got around to putting your UltiClip on it, I would love to see you post a video of that install. I got the 3.3 slim per your advice, and can't really get it to cooperate. Would like to see your setup.
About to upload the video, should be up soon!!

Wow, thanks so much for making a posting! I can now see why I am having issues. Unfortunately, the sheath they sent me is designed slightly differently than yours, which prevents the clip from lining up perfectly with the holes. Now I know I'm not just dumb. (At least about this.)@@KnifeFanatic
@MrEric0822 of course, no problem!! 🤙🏽
I think that will be my next blade
It's a very fine choice!
Just got the exact same knife. Did that Ulticlip 2.2 slim work out?
So the 2.2 won't fit on the M1. You have to get the next size up which is the 3.3 ulticlip.
@@KnifeFanatic Thanks! Do you like using that clip?
Would you get this knife or the benchmade hidden canyon? I been looking at both of them for a long time.
I couldn't give you an accurate answer because I've never had a hidden canyon before. There are a few differences in both the knives from what I've seen, but I think both of them would be great choices for edc/backpacking/camping/etc.
Thank you I ended up getting the M1 Pro@@KnifeFanatic
@@smokeybear4719 Awesome brotha!! I hope you like it. It's a great knife, I love mine!
Why is it so light? Weighs just half a Siwi weighs.
Never handled a Siwi, so I wouldn't be able to compare it
@@KnifeFanaticThe Siwi is heavy. Despite it's size very good for chopping😂
I want one...
Fantastic knife brother, definitely recommend it.
Do to like this or the griffin scout 2.5 more?
Idk that's a hard one. I think they both have their different uses and are excellent knives for all types of tasks. The ergos are very different on both but feel very good. The scout feels a little fuller in the hands which is nice. The M1 kind of forces you to be choked up in the choil area, but still feels nice. The choil is VERY well done. Nice rounded off edges. Both knives are amazing imo.
I’m torn between that one or the small game
Feom what I've gathered the Small Game has a bit less blade and cutting edge to work with but a fuller handle, the M1 as such has more blade and a slimmer carry profile. I'm sure they're both very comfortable so I'd say if you wanna cut lots of harder stuff go with the small game, else this is probably your better choice. :) Can't go wrong with either though I'd assume.
Wich one did you end up getting? 😊
@@xrv404 I still haven’t decided yet 🤷🏻♂️
@@hoss4876 I was torn between several white river knifes, I just got my first white rivers, exodus 3 and M1 Pro. They are both great 👍🏻
M1 pro higly recommend
Get both! I started w their ursus 45, just received an ursus cub and an M1 Pro in magnacut. The 45 will be used on longer camp trips, the cub is winter edc and the back packer is summer edc and day hiking. I will be getting rid of a lot of other knives now.
